Chapter 472 The Witcher Rhett

Chapter 472 The Witcher Rhett

Bard was the 'guinea pig' that Aro had chosen.

As for Heri, a short day of study was not enough to provide Yaro with substantial help; her current goal was to understand and learn the materials that Yaro had previously provided.

Observing the modification process of the Wind Dragon Armor can better help her understand those abstract mathematical concepts and how these concepts can be applied in practice.

"Bard, now show the movement of the last picture in the sixth group."

"Ok!"

Bard immediately demonstrated a comical gesture, which, though not very standard, was enough for Yaro to see clearly which parts of his body were exerting force.

Based on his understanding of "Blood Rage", Yaro quickly sketched out several muscle groups that were exerting force on scrap paper.

Next, based on this simplified diagram, Yaro began to calculate how the runes on the Wind Dragon Armor should be adjusted.

After Yarrow put down his pen, Heri asked curiously, "Lord Yarrow, is it finished now?"

Bard also quickly looked over.

"No, not yet."

Yaro turned around and explained:
"I am summarizing the magic patterns needed for each pose. This information will then be further refined and simplified, and I will record which muscles will be engaged when the pose changes."

Simply put, each action was previously recorded using 'drawings'.

What Yarrow needs to do now is to connect these 'pictures' to form a complete, continuously changing animated sequence.

Yaro continued, "Once the calculations are complete, we can record this information into the puppet runes on the shoulders of the Wind Dragon Armor, and add some additional assist runes to the Wind Dragon Armor based on the calculation results."

The original Wind Dragon Armor could only swing its sword forward and could not perform many acrobatic-like actions, which obviously did not meet the requirements of "Blood Frenzy".

These issues all require Yaro to make corresponding improvements and refinements. By adjusting and adding magic rune structures, the Wind Dragon Armor will be able to perform various actions more flexibly and meet the training requirements of "Blood Frenzy".

Looking at the papers on the table, Yarrow made a rough calculation and said:

"I'll work on it tonight, and I should be basically ready by tomorrow."

“Lord Yaro, you haven’t rested for days. Why don’t you get some sleep tonight? These things can be done tomorrow, right?” Heri suggested worriedly.

"Thank you for your concern, Heri, but it's alright. As a wizard who wields extraordinary powers, not sleeping for a few days is not a big problem for me."

Yaro joked, "And once this is done, I can supervise your studies without worry, and then you won't have time to slack off."

“Lord Yaro, I never slack off,” Heri replied with a slight upturn of her lips.

"Okay, okay, I know, I misspoke."

Yaro smiled gently, offered some words of comfort to Heri, and then turned his gaze to Bard:

"Has Dylan replied? When is the Witcher Rett expected to arrive in Lan'er Village?"

“Probably the morning after tomorrow,” Bard replied.

Yaro nodded thoughtfully: "The day after tomorrow? That's still enough time."

In order to save time, Yaro has not practiced the two new tricks he has mastered in the past two days, nor has he trained "Blood Rage". He has devoted all his energy to modifying the Wind Dragon Armor.

It seems we made it in time. "What do you mean, 'in time'?" Hery asked curiously.

"Oh, nothing."

Yaro snapped out of his daze, looked up, and smiled:

"Heli, go back and organize today's knowledge."

"Bard, go and get some rest. Tomorrow, once I've finished adjusting the Wind Dragon Armor, you can start practicing 'Blood Frenzy'."

After they parted ways, the only sound in the empty library was the continuous sound of pens writing and drawing on soft parchment.

……

Two days passed in a blink of an eye.

When Yaro arrived at Lan'er Village, he received some news that surprised him.

“Mr. Anabe, I didn’t expect you to come with Mr. Rett today,” Yarrow said with a smile.

Anabe laughed heartily: "Hahaha, of course! We agreed on this a long time ago. I'll help you collect materials for half a month. Isn't that enough time?"

"is it?"

Yaro paused for a moment, then inexplicably calculated in his mind: "If I remember correctly, there should still be one day left, right?"

Anabe spread his hands, grinning like an old fox: "From the day I agreed to this until yesterday, isn't it exactly half a month? Consider this half-day this morning my gift to you."

"This morning? Weren't you on your way this morning?" Yaro said, both amused and exasperated.

Anabe raised an eyebrow, a hint of mischief and teasing in his eyes: "Does being on the road mean I'm not working? Oh, you're quite ruthless in that respect, buddy."

Yaro was amused by Anabe's reply: "Well, you've convinced me. I take back what I said earlier. Also, thank you very much for your help and for this gift today."

Yaro stopped worrying about time and turned his gaze to Rett, who was standing silently to the side:

"It's been a long time, Mr. Rhett. It's a pleasure to see you again."

“I am deeply honored. I never imagined that a traveler I once met on the road would become the great Viscount.” Rhett bowed politely in respect.

The young witcher's face had an 'saturated hyaluronic acid' effect that far surpassed that of the older witchers. This strange, porcelain doll-like charm made the villagers of Lan'er Village instinctively keep their distance from them.

However, Yaro already knew their situation and wasn't bothered by Rett's stiff expression. Instead, he smiled warmly and said:

"Don't call me 'Great Viscount' anymore; it makes me feel like you're making fun of me. Just keep calling me Yaro. I'm glad that after a few months, you don't have any more scars on your face."

"Come, sit in my room. The rest of the village is still under construction and there is no suitable place to stay."

“No need, Lord Yarrow. I came here because I heard there are water ghosts causing trouble in this village, not to chat with you,” Rett refused.

Yaro glanced at the old witcher beside him with surprise, indicating: Didn't you tell him?
Anabe shrugged and said jokingly, "I just happened to meet this Witcher on the road, so we came together. We didn't reach any agreement."

Yaro raised an eyebrow slightly: "So Rett doesn't know about 'Blood Frenzy'? That's a real shame. I thought you were going to give your spot to him."
