Wizard: I brought the wrong system.

Chapter 83 Remarks on the launch

Chapter 83 Remarks on the launch
I wrote and deleted, going back and forth several times, and I don't know what to say.

First, thank you to all the readers!
Although I sent a separate thank-you note shortly after signing the contract, I felt that the note wasn't formal enough, so I deleted it.

First of all, I would like to thank my fellow reader 'Duxingwannian'.

The first official book review let me know that someone had actually read this book. Although I never saw that reader again, it was a huge encouragement at the time.

The first comment on the paragraph is about 'Sile'. Thank you to the first person who pointed out the typos and grammatical errors.

Also, thank you for your continued corrections and feedback regarding the error message "I still can't register a nickname".

Thank you to 'Qianqiu Xinghai' for the donation immediately after signing the contract.

Thank you to reader '花月依' for giving me my first monthly ticket. Thank you for your continued support, and thank you for the monthly ticket yesterday as well.

Thanks to 'Silent Night Wanderer', although you are really silent, you have always been supportive, especially at the beginning, when you gave me 12 recommendation votes every day without fail.

Many thanks to 'River Crab God's 404 Flight' for the several donations and comments; that support was crucial.

At that time, the software inexplicably lost its Rising Star Ranking, and the daily increase in book collections was extremely dismal. Other readers were also silent, and I didn't know what was wrong. I was uneasy every day, with a feeling that I was about to fail.

Then, 'River Crab God's 404 Flight' gave several consecutive donations and supported the author by commenting at the end of each chapter.

Although it may not have been written to the extent that the reader "404 Flight of the Crab God" said, those words of support were like a shot of adrenaline for me, who was blinded by the coldness, and made me feel warm all over.

Thank you to the reader 'Life Comes Before Death' for their comment and support.

At that time, the book started to appear on several good recommendation lists, and it also inexplicably made it onto the list of newly signed books. There were a lot of readers coming every day, but as more readers came, their tastes were different, and all sorts of 'bad reviews' piled up like mountains, and there were countless personal attacks.

Every day when I open the comments, I feel like I'm about to explode, and I'm also extremely worried that I'm really that bad.

But... I don't know how to change it!
Everyone was saying different things, and some even started arguing amongst themselves, which made me dizzy.

Then, in those few days, I wrote several chapters that I wasn't entirely satisfied with myself.

The opening chapters of Volume 2 felt bland and tasteless to me, but I couldn't change them because they were all setting up the story and couldn't be cut.

I feel hesitant to take the first step; I'm afraid of making mistakes no matter how I write.

It was a fellow reader who shared the idea that "death precedes life" that helped me understand my true self.

As I've mentioned before, I've been writing novels for 12 years and have never signed a contract. Do you think I've never thought about signing a contract during those 12 years?
Countless times I tried to get a contract, thinking about how to please the readers and how to get a book signed, but I just couldn't get one.

It's been 12 years, and I've given up. I'm not young anymore, and I don't have that many illusions.

So this book was originally written for my own amusement. I was thinking that since a certain TV drama had been canceled again and there weren't many books to read, I might as well write one for fun.

I never thought I would get a contract when I started writing this book. I started it just for fun, but it was actually appreciated by the editor.

First, with the support of fellow book lovers, it reached the top three of the new book charts in just a few days!
After signing the contract, it immediately rose to the top of the new author/new book category and has remained there ever since!
Even after being moved to the list of new books by signed authors, and only staying there for five days, this book did not perform too poorly in the face of countless new books by top authors.

Category remains number one!

In just five days, it went from over 40th place on the overall new book chart to around 20th place!
If we had a few more days, we might have been able to climb even higher. This wouldn't have been possible without the tremendous support of so many readers, and what does it also demonstrate?
A comment from a fellow reader, "Death precedes life," reminded me of something.

Speaking of readers, I've been reading books for twenty years and writing books for twelve years, although... I've never signed a contract.

But the first, most discerning, and most discerning reader was myself!
If you find a plot yourself disgusting, how can you expect to write a plot with that same disgusting mindset to please readers who want that kind of plot?

You can't please anyone!

If I couldn't get a contract after 12 years, it's definitely because I had problems with my writing style, plot development, and so on. So I can learn from and draw on the points pointed out by my fellow readers.

But... it's impossible to listen to everything!

What I want to write is the story I want to tell, not a hodgepodge of miscellaneous ideas!

What is nectar to one is poison to another!
What is a source of humor for some readers is poison for others.

A hodgepodge stewed together in one pot is poisonous to everyone!

Trying to please everyone will only result in offending everyone!

There's also the possibility of poisoning yourself, and then getting sick.

……

That's a bit of a stretch.

Thank you again to all my friends for your continued support and reminders.

And then, I also want to thank my editor—Jiang Cha!
Ginger tea makes you look so young!
Think about it, I couldn't sign a contract for 12 years, and then Jiang Cha came along and picked me out. His eye for talent... cough cough (dog)!
Jiang Cha is a very good person and does his job conscientiously.

Like when I messed around with the chapters and chapters, I immediately messaged Jiang Cha, "Save me, save me..."

Ginger Tea immediately helped to revise and tidy it up.

There were some plot points that I felt had a problem, but I couldn't figure out why no matter how I looked at them, Jiang Cha took the time out of her busy schedule to give me some hints.

Thank you!

……

I also want to thank all the readers for their generous donations!
I am truly flattered!

Thank you all for your appreciation and support!

There's so much I want to say, but I don't know what to say...

I will still do my best to write a good story and give everyone a new world and a new journey!
It will be available tomorrow, please support us with your first order!
