After reincarnation, the past will disappear, and the so-called accumulation of blessings for the next life is nothing more than that.

After reincarnation, what happened in the last life is already the last life, and has little to do with the present.

Unless it is a practitioner who can retrieve previous memories and accept them, like Nezha.

Guanshiyin Bodhisattva naturally knew Yuan Tiangang, otherwise he would not have approached Yuan Shoucheng before.

The reason why he wants to live forever is not only the fear of birth, old age, sickness and death, but most of it is his reluctance to give up power and everything he owns.

If he abdicates and joins Buddhism, will Buddhism treat him kindly then?In his opinion, basically impossible.

"Actually, it's not difficult for me to agree to spread Buddhism. As long as Buddhism can ensure that the Tang Dynasty will be in good order for a hundred years, and don't interfere in political affairs, I will agree to this matter."

A hundred years of good weather may seem simple, but in fact it is not simple at all.

A hundred years is nothing more than a period of practice for immortals and gods, but for ordinary people, it is really a very long period of time, which is enough to produce four or five generations.

If the people of the Great Tang can develop smoothly, then the Great Tang will become extremely powerful, and it will no longer be a lie to include all the surrounding countries in the territory.

And if you want a hundred years of good weather, someone must take care of you all the time.

You must know that the entire Nanbuzhou is shrouded in the Nine Tripods formation, and you cannot use the power above the fairyland. If you want to take care of the entire country of Datang, you need a lot of manpower.

And this is in conflict with the wishes of heaven.

If the weather goes smoothly for a hundred years, how many people will still believe in gods?At that time, many gods may cut off the incense.

For example, the Dragon King of the Four Seas, Thunder God and Lightning Mother, etc., will they still be needed by then?
This matter affects the whole body, it seems simple, but in fact it is not simple at all.

Of course, with the power of Buddhism and its intricate connection with Heaven, maybe it's not too difficult?
Mahasthamaprapta Bodhisattva and Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva looked at each other, wondering what they were secretly communicating with each other.

In the end, Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva agreed: "The poor monk agrees to His Majesty's request, and I hope His Majesty can remember his promise."

Seeing Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva, Tang Taizong seemed to agree without much hesitation, and regretted not taking the time longer.

"I keep my word, and since I promise, I won't go back on my word. I'm a Buddhist, so don't cross the river and tear down the bridge. After you achieve your goal, you won't admit it."

"Don't worry, Your Majesty, if the Buddhist sect fails to fulfill its promise, you can destroy all the Buddhist temples in the Tang Dynasty, so that the people will no longer believe in the Buddha."

Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva said firmly.

For Buddhism, this matter is somewhat difficult, but it is not too difficult to achieve it.

As for the conflict with the heavenly court, we will find a way to make up for it at that time.

The most important thing now is the Journey to the West, everything else has to give way to this matter, even if it pays a higher price, it is worth it.

As long as the Journey to the West is completed, the luck of Buddhism will increase greatly, and the strength will definitely rise, and they will also benefit.

In contrast, it is not difficult to ensure that the Tang Dynasty will be in good order for a hundred years.

What's more, if it's done properly, it can definitely make more people believe in Buddhism, and it will be a good thing for them at that time.

The choice Tang Taizong made was somewhat beyond the expectations of the ministers, but they did not object, because it was indeed a great thing for Datang.

As for the fact that Buddhism had too much influence in the Tang Dynasty before, all the ministers had already had various thoughts and methods in their hearts.

Compared with the nature of heaven and earth, for people like them, it is better to deal with Buddhism.
