Chapter 564 Chang'an's Red Lotus Master
Chapter 564 Chang'an's Red Lotus Master
Young Master Red Lotus gave Tathagata Buddha a "hey hey" smile, and then slapped his forehead, turning into a bright twelve-pink red lotus that turned straight.
Then the red lotus flew out of Lingshan and disappeared, which was the beginning of another trouble.
On Lingshan, everyone who was gearing up and ready to do something suddenly sat down.
Venerable Kasyapa, the great disciple of the Buddha, asked in pain: "My Buddha, do we still need to arrange for the 72 hardships?"
The gods and Buddhas on Lingshan were very angry at that time, 72 difficult?
This is not the 72 difficulties for those who learn the scriptures, but it is clearly the 72 difficulties for you!
No one would have thought that this master would personally become the scripture learner, is he so disrespectful?
However, they can't help it. Master Honglian has been self-willed for a day or two. Have they successfully stopped it?
At this time, Maitreya Buddha with a big belly sitting under the head of the Buddha said: "Think about it from another angle, at least Venerable Red Lotus has left Lingshan!"
When the gods and Buddhas thought about it, there was nothing wrong with it!
Those who stare at anyone who is pregnant, and whoever is wrong, will send the curse of the five declines of heaven and man to leave Lingshan!
Huanxi Dingguang Buddha was crying with joy at that time, how long has he not cultivated properly?
Fortunately, this master is gone, otherwise he would have doubted that his happy meditation method would be abolished?
There was a sound of relief on the Lingshan Mountain, and I don't know who was insulting.
And what about Young Master Honglian?
He did not reincarnate through reincarnation, but flew directly to Nanzhan Buzhou.
I don't even bother to find someone to invest in. Anyway, Xiao Tang has just founded the country. Although the country's fortune is booming, it has yet to fully rise.
Where the new empire rises, it must first wipe out the influence of the troubled times.
In that case, Young Master Honglian directly turned into a handsome man and devoted himself to the White Horse Temple in Luoyang for many years, and first gave himself a layer of Buddhist 'golden clothing'.
The White Horse Temple was built in the Eastern Han Dynasty. It is the first Buddhist temple in Nanzhan Buzhou.
Now that the prosperous age is coming, the incense of the White Horse Temple is becoming more and more prosperous, and the status of the monks who come out from there is naturally very special.
Eight years ago, I was wearing the little red gold silk cassock and went to the imperial capital Chang'an to preach as the youngest monk of the White Horse Temple.
At the end of the road, I took a little detour, picked up a wooden basin floating in the Yashang River, and picked up an orphan from it.
I came all the way to the imperial capital of Chang'an, and I seem to be able to see the scene of the Xiaohan Dynasty swallowing mountains and rivers back then.
It's a pity to say that, although the Xiaohan Dynasty declined, there were still too few enemies around after all, and a pack of wolves surrounded it so that it eventually perished in the war.
By the time of Xiao Tang, there were already many enemies around him, or in other words, there were already many enemies who could be called minor enemies.
With such little internal pressure, coupled with the youthful efforts of the Mohist artisans, the productivity has also developed to a very advanced level.
In that way, it can be regarded as pushing the whole society to an unprecedented peak.
According to Zhutian Xiaoneng's calculations, it can be called a double peak of military force and civil governance. I am afraid that there will be no such peaks in previous dynasties.
As for the spread of Buddhism to the East, the choice is precisely at that juncture, which can be said to be accurate.
Young Master Honglian came to Chang'an and went directly to Xiaoci'en Temple to stay.
There, little Xu Hancheng preached the Dharma, and immediately convinced the monks outside the temple to be submissive, and then willingly took care of my children...
Wrong, though I'd say few spells can be useless with kids.
Such as hypnotism, cleaning technique, silence spell and so on.
But I think that for the sake of the child's body and mind, it is better to leave it to the old monks outside the temple to take it. Anyway, the old monks are the most unloving.
In Chang'an, I was talking about the principles of Buddhism and the wisdom of the Buddha, but I only mentioned the matter of faith.
To learn Buddhism is to believe in Buddha, and to worship Buddha is to serve Buddha.
That is also the idea that I have repeatedly emphasized when I teach Buddhism.
Buddha has no small wisdom, trying to describe it in words is a realm that can be described.
In fact, it is exactly the same as Xu Shao Taoist scriptures, except that the descriptions in the Buddhist scriptures are more straightforward and detailed.
The descriptions in the Taoist scriptures are illusory intentions, such as 'mountains are not mountains, water is not water', which require self-realization by the wise.
The description in the Buddhist scriptures is more straightforward, and there is no detailed description of the state of "the seven aggregates are all empty".
The so-called 'seven aggregates are all empty' is actually a state of concentration, and it is also a state of mind that must be possessed when the spirit retreats to a certain level.
In that respect, Buddhism and Taoism are actually interlinked, but the Taoist classics are covered by clouds and fog, and it is always necessary for the master to lead the way to understand.
In the Buddhist scriptures, the description is more straightforward, and the wise can realize it by themselves after studying it.
From that point of view, Mr. Honglian actually hates reading Buddhist scriptures.
It's a pity that my idea is that it is incompatible with Theravada Buddhism in Lingshan.
The Hinayana Buddhist practice is to cross people and cross oneself, and crossing others is the last, so it is not necessary to spread thoughts and teachings to the world, so as to cross oneself.
That made many virtuous women and believers learn Buddhism and want to transcend, so they spontaneously preached for Buddhism, which continuously expanded the influence of small Buddhism.
As for those good women and faithful men who are determined to save people, they can all be called "Bodhisattvas".
Therefore, in Buddhist belief, Bodhisattvas are all extremely good.
But Mr. Honglian only loves Mahayana Buddhism.
Mahayana Buddhism was developed quickly before Shaobao entered Buddhism, and it is the method of crossing oneself and others, and crossing oneself comes later.
The so-called "passing oneself" is to make oneself the best first, cultivate wisdom by oneself, and see the truth.
Only by going to 'cross people' in this way can we give people the correct guidance and increase the occurrence of 'doing bad things maliciously'.
In this way, those who "cross oneself and cross others" can be called "arhats".
Now what Nanzhan Buzhou teaches is Mahayana Buddhism, because Theravada Buddhism has no room for survival in the future.
Only without Mahayana Buddhist monks who first cross themselves and then cross others, there is no inheritance of that wisdom.
Master Honglian is actually an Arhat in Buddhism, but his name is too loud and his fists are too hard, so he is honored as "Red Lotus Venerable".
Now in Chang'an Xiaoci'en Temple, I have also become the famous "Little Master Honglian", not known as "Living Buddha".
Gradually, with my several public lectures, I have become the most popular person in Chang'an.
How the Dharma is taught is another story, but my shawl and long hair, my handsome face, and the little lotus mark between my eyebrows have become the favorites of many men and women in the entire Chang'an city.
Every time I teach the Fa in public, it must be crowded with thousands of people.
It was also the time when Quan Chang'an's women clenched their fists and wanted to beat me to death.
It has been thousands of years since Buddhism was spread eastward, and it has never been so grand.
That also made the Lingshan Mountain completely silent... Could it be that our appearance is already in line with the aesthetics of the world today?
A group of gods and Buddhas who were shining with golden light and covered with wealth and wealth looked a little melancholy.
