"No, no. The four major elements of Buddhism are all empty. The patriarch treats all disciples equally. There is no distinction between high and low. These mountain peaks represent the level of Buddha nature. Every disciple enters Fangcun Mountain of Lingtai, whether it is a formal disciple or a handyman. Disciple, there is a place to stand on. If you enlighten to the Dharma, this place will continue to rise and form hills, peaks, and mountains!"

"Oh, so it is! Master, how high is your mountain?"

"The teacher is only the Bodhisattva of the Eighth Ground, so he opened up a hill of eight hundred feet!"

Qin Di thought to himself: "I am a Bodhisattva of the Seventh Ground, can I open up a hill of seven hundred feet?"

Master Xuyun led him to the foot of Xuyun Peak where he lived, pointed to an open space, and said, "Qin Ku, you will live here from now on! This is the foundation of your Buddhaland. You sit here cross-legged, release Compassionate heart and that buddha fire, show your Buddha Mountain!"

Qin Di sat down as he said, and let out the Buddha fire.

As a result, his Foshan was only a dozen feet long!It was so different from what he imagined!
Qin Di was almost dumbfounded: "Master, why is my Foshan so short?"

Master Xuyun smiled slightly, and said: "Master, I just said that these mountains represent the Buddha nature, and it has nothing to do with your skill level. You have only learned a little bit of the Diamond Sutra, and you haven't fully comprehended it yet. In the next ten days, I will teach you the true Dharma as a teacher! When you finish learning the basic Dharma, your Buddha nature will be greatly improved."

Qin Di looked around and found that some people's Foshan was not as high as his own. He felt a little more balanced and said, "Master, ten days is too short. Buddhism is profound and profound. How can I learn it well?"

Master Xuyun smiled and said, "A day here is equal to a thousand years outside. Have you noticed that you have been here for a while, but have you ever seen the sun in the sky move by a tiny bit?"

Qin Di looked up at the sky. Although this is the pure land of Buddhism, there is also a sun. He looked carefully for a while, and sure enough, the sun does not move as fast as the outside world.

Master Xuyun said: "In the square inch mountain of Lingtai, one day is equal to one yuan, equal to 12 hours! It is enough for me to teach you a lot of Dharma!"

From then on, Qin Di, as a handyman disciple, went out to chop firewood and cook for dinner every one thousand hours, and spent the rest of the time studying Buddhist classics with Master Xuyun.

On the first day, he learned the "Prajna Paramita Heart Sutra".This sutra is very short, only a few hundred words, but the Buddhist teachings are very profound.

Master Xuyun asked him to memorize the Heart Sutra and recite it every other hour.And exhorted: "This Buddhist scripture is very important. Some people can get very good results by reciting the Heart Sutra exclusively."

Qin Di followed his words, every time he recited, he gained something new.

By the end of the first day, when the cave was opened again in the morning, his Foshan was already more than 30 feet high!
The next day, he studied the "Vajra Prajna Paramita Sutra".

Master Xuyun said: "The "Diamond Sutra" is of moderate length and is one of the core classics of Buddhism. Many people keep this sutra for a long time. This is what Patriarch Bodhi valued most. It contains all the words that Buddha said to Patriarch Bodhi. Buddhism is profound, You won't be able to understand it for a while, so learn it by heart first!"

Qin Di memorized the "Diamond Sutra" thoroughly, 12 hours a day, enough for him to ponder carefully.

By the end of the day, his Foshan had grown to a hundred feet high.

On the third day, Master Xuyun passed on the Shurangama Sutra to him.

The Shurangama Sutra is known as the "Shurangama of Opening Wisdom". This sutra is mainly taught by the Buddha to Venerable Ananda, who is the "most knowledgeable" among his disciples.He has learned a lot, that is, he has a lot of knowledge, and correspondingly Ananda is the worst in his practice among the great disciples. He can't even resist the temptation of women like ordinary people. The scriptures are very suitable for Qin Di's practice.

Although the Shurangama Sutra is long, it explains the Buddhist principles quite thoroughly and clearly.And what Qin Di likes is that this scripture is brilliant and amazing, and it is easy to read.

Master Xuyun explained the Buddhist scriptures, and then asked Qin Di to recite the same!
The Shurangama Sutra has more than 6 words, and it is really too difficult for ordinary people to memorize it.However, Qin Di has the background of a ninth-level celestial being, but with a sweep of his consciousness, he memorized the scriptures!

On the fourth day, Master Xuyun passed on the "Miaofa Lotus Sutra" to him.

This sutra is called 'The Wonderful Way to Become a Buddha', and the original text calls it 'the first in the sutra', which shows its importance.This sutra is also relatively long, with more than 8 words, divided into 28 chapters, and the Buddhist principles are profound.Before reading this sutra, you must have faith in the Buddha, otherwise you will not believe it after reading it, or even slander the sutra, and you may suffer great retribution. It is better not to read it.

On the fifth day, Master Xuyun passed on the Huayan Sutra to him.

This sutra is the first sutra taught by Shakyamuni after he became a Buddha, and it is most suitable for people with deep Buddha roots.When Sakyamuni first became a Buddha, it was as if the sun had just risen and its light was shining on the mountains. When he finally preached the "Lotus Flower Sutra", it was like the sun was about to set.In contrast, the Shurangama Sutra, the Diamond Sutra, and the Heart Sutra are as bright as the sun, and can illuminate the whole person.

The "Avatamsaka Sutra" is very long, with eighty volumes and a total of more than 140 million words.

This voluminous classic is like an encyclopedia. Master Xu Yun did not let Qin Di recite it, but Qin Di refused to give up. It took several hours to recite all the scriptures.

Next, Qin Di learned the "Amitabha Sutra" on the sixth day, the "Infinite Life Sutra" on the seventh day, and the "Contemplation of Infinite Life Sutra" on the eighth day.

These three classics all talk about Amitabha Buddha and the Western Paradise of Ultimate Bliss.Among them, "immeasurable life" is an original meaning of "Amitabha".Those who want to cultivate the Pure Land and be reborn in the Western Paradise will take these three sutras as their first choice.

On the ninth day, Qin Di learned the "Long Agama Sutra".

This is the core scripture of Theravada Buddhism, mainly about the practice of meditation and meditation.

On the tenth day, Master Xuyun passed on the Ksitigarbha Sutra to him.

This scripture talks about how to eliminate disasters, avoid disasters, and seek blessings.Eliminating sins and obstacles and accumulating merits and virtues are also the right way to seek the Buddha way.

In Fangcun Mountain, after ten days, the outside world has already passed 1 years!

At this time, the Foshan that belonged to him has grown to more than 700 feet, and finally made up for the shortcomings of Buddhist practice, and he can be regarded as a qualified seven-level Bodhisattva!
Qin Di couldn't help sighing: "It's not easy to practice Buddhism! It took me 1 years to lay a good foundation in Buddhism, but when will I be able to learn real Kung Fu from Patriarch Bodhi?"
