Chapter 26
For a student, what could be better than a morning of self-study classes?

Jae Yu can tell you responsibly that there is still one afternoon of physical education class.

After the self-study in the morning, the disciples of Confucianism first went home to get their bows and arrows, and then returned to gather in front of the school in the afternoon. Then, under the leadership of Zilu, they left the school in an orderly manner and headed for the outskirts of Qufu.

They sang happily all the way, and everyone's face was filled with joyful smiles.

"Sile Panshui, thinly picked its celery. Lu Hou Lizhi, said to watch his flag. His flag is whirling, and the sound of luan is whistling. No matter whether it is small or big, follow the public and step forward."

(Joyfully rushed to the waterside of Pan Palace to gather water celery for the grand ceremony. Our great lord Luhou arrived, and saw the empty banner of the banner from a distance.

I saw the flag fluttering and fluttering in the wind, and the bells of the car driving Luan were melodious.Regardless of the small person or the high-ranking official, they all followed Lu Hou all the way. )
This is the first stanza in "The Book of Songs·Lu Feng·Pan Shui". It was originally used by Lu people to praise Lu Xigong's abundant martial arts in defeating Huaiyi. Now it is used by disciples to express their joy in physical education class. Affection.

Most of the disciples sang loudly, but Zaiyu kept his mouth shut and said nothing.

It stands to reason that it is impossible for his broken mouth to stop. The reason why he restrained himself so much is because he was born with a pentatonic insufficiency. If he followed behind indiscriminately, it would only make people laugh.

Zi Gong knew Jai Yu's weakness, so he walked up to Jai Yu solemnly with a bow and arrow on his back, and teased: "My son, sing! Why don't you sing? This singing is such a beautiful thing!"

Jae Yu glared at him: "If you don't want to shoot, just talk. If you have the ability, let's see the truth. When you try archery later, don't run away."

Zai Yu dared to speak like that, of course he had confidence.

Confucian disciples need to practice the six arts of a gentleman: rites, music, archery, imperialism, calligraphy, and mathematics.

Except for music, Jaeyu's other five subjects are very good.

Zigong's mathematics subjects are top-notch, and the four subjects of rites, music, imperialism, and calligraphy are also in the upper reaches, but the accuracy of archery is not good.

But as the saying goes, if you lose, you don't lose. Even if Zi Gong's arrows are weak, it won't hold back his stubbornness!
Zi Gong said disdainfully: "Compare, do you think I dare not fight?"

Zaiyu knew that he was a dead duck with a stubborn mouth, so he didn't want to pay more attention to him, but turned his attention to the farmer who was working in the field far away.

When he first left Qufu, most of the farmers he saw were well-dressed and strong, and the land they cultivated was also a fertile plain.

After walking for a while, the scenery in front of Jai Yu was completely different from before.

There are also many newly cultivated farmlands near the foot of the mountain, but these fields are far worse than those just seen.

There are fragments of stones everywhere, and the soil is dry and hard.

But the nearest river is seven or eight miles away, just watering the ground every day can make people tired enough.

And the farmers working here are also pale and emaciated. Most of them only have a tattered shirt to hide their shame, and some don't even have any clothes. They wear grass skirts around their waists, which are regarded as clothes.

And Zai Yu is not surprised by this.

Because the farmers living not far from Qufu City are Chinese, while the farmers living at the foot of the mountain are savages.

Although both Chinese and savages are Lu people, their status is very different.

There are two main obligations of Chinese people, to pay taxes on time, and to serve the country in military service during wars.

But when they fulfill their obligations, they also enjoy many rights.

Because most of the Chinese people have received cultural education, they can enter the administrative system of Lu State to do some simple tasks such as clerical work or running errands.

Even if there is no way to enter the administrative system, they can still choose to do business, work as craftsmen, and so on.

And because of the high level of education and the industries they are engaged in in various fields, the Chinese people also have a great influence on the country, so they naturally enjoy the right to participate in and discuss state affairs.

In the Spring and Autumn Period, because the people of the country were dissatisfied with the rule of the monarch, they united to overthrow the monarch many times.

Even Zhou Tianzi has a record of being supported by Chinese people.

At the beginning, King Li of Zhou extorted violently, and even sent wizards to monitor the speeches of the people of the country, and immediately killed those who complained.

The people of the country were too scared to speak by him, and they could only greet others with sideways glances when walking on the road.

Over time, the resentment in the hearts of the Chinese people has accumulated deeper and deeper.

So they joined forces to overthrow King Zhou Li, and exiled him to the land of Yu, not allowing King Zhou Li to return to the country for the rest of their lives.

Yang Hu is not afraid of Sanhuan, but worried about the moral condemnation from the people of the country, and this is the reason.

The savages have only one obligation, and that is to pay taxes, and they do not need to perform military service.

But not serving in the military is not necessarily a good thing.

Because in this slavery society where whoever has the biggest fist wins, if you don't serve as a soldier, it means you have no right to speak.

At the same time, the education level of the savages is also very low, and there are many barbarians among them who have fled, and they don't know anything about the etiquette of the Central Plains.

Originally, the savages were already discriminated against because of their ignorance, and they were despised a second time because of their status as Yidi, which is really miserable.

Savages are not only low in social status, their freedom is also restricted, and some are even directly slaves.

So it is impossible to do business, and it is impossible to be a craftsman. They can only farm.

Therefore, although the Chinese and the savages are both Lu people, the Chinese can be regarded as citizens of the Lu state, while the savages can at most be regarded as residents.

The savages who became slaves could only be counted as the private property of the people of the country.

Looking at these people, Zai Yu couldn't help sighing.

Some people were born in Rome.

Some people are born mules and horses.

This is a true portrayal of the Spring and Autumn Period.

Among the disciples of Confucianism, some people are also thinking about this problem.

But the other part didn't even notice this group of wild people who worked hard but didn't have enough to eat.

Because in the bottom of most people's hearts, they have never seen wildlings as human beings.

Zaiyu had a whim, and asked Zigong who was beside him: "Zigong, do you think that if I become the king, can I order that wild people have the same rights as Chinese people?"

Zigong pursed his lips when he heard this. He patted Jaeyu on the shoulder and said, "My son, your idea is very good, and I know you have good intentions. But if you can have this idea, then you can't." Be king."

"why?"

"All countries have stipulated that they must provide land to those who are willing to work. If you also give this right to savages, where are you going to get the allocated land from?

You also told me yesterday that Master was unable to become an official because his proposition touched the interests of Sanhuan.

But your proposition not only affects the interests of Sanhuan, but also the interests of the people of the country!

Listen to my advice, it's nothing to talk about your strange words with us.Because everyone knows that you are either joking or you have compassion.

But if you are in front of the monarch or other high-ranking people in the future, you have to take it easy!
If you say such things rashly, they will definitely think that you have no good intentions, and if you don't do it well, you will lose your life! "

For the life of the general, all the monthly tickets are mixed with love and hate, filled with coins, sealed and sunk, and after a thousand years, what is picked up is a platinum penny.
