Pindao should be robbed

Chapter 14 The Book of Immortals

Chapter 14 The Book of Immortals
Because pots, pans, pots, rice noodles, grain, oil, cloth and salt were not easy for Liu Qiao to carry alone, so he bought an old donkey that grinds noodles in the village, and carried these belongings on his back.

All of these cost three coins, and Liu Qiao's savings accumulated when he was an official have been spent in sevens and eighties after this encounter.

However, the time to practice is approaching, and the extraordinary skills are already in his chest, so he has nothing to worry about this little money outside his body.

Seeing that it was still early in the morning, Liu Qiao didn't dare to waste time. He led the donkey and carried the burden, and walked all the way to Beishan.

It was Wangshan who ran a dead horse. The mountain looked as if it was in front of him, but with Liu Qiao's foot strength, he walked for three days and walked another one or two hundred miles before reaching the foot of the mountain.

"My dear donkey, let's work harder. After passing the pine tree level in front, we will not be far from going up the mountain..."

Liu Qiao took the rope and watered the panting old donkey while cheering it up, regardless of whether the animal could understand or not.

"You hang out with those villagers. You go hungry for nine meals in three days, and you become a skinny donkey. You hang out with my master Liu. You eat weeds and drink dew. You are unrestrained and at ease. How nice..." Liu Qiao patted the donkey's head. , laughed proudly.

It’s okay not to say this, but when he said this, the old donkey screamed angrily, bared his teeth and yelled "Ah... Enang..." "He raised his front hoof and threw the burden on the ground.

Liu Qiao scolded: "I've made you a lazy donkey who doesn't use mills. You used to pull a few hundred catties of rollers in the village. Now you only carry a hundred catties. You have to rest after walking seven or eight miles. Why don't you?" Master Liu, am I easy to bully?"

After saying that, he wanted to pull the tree sticks and beat him, but the donkey was born with a stubborn temper, and it was already very tired after the journey. No matter how much Liu Qiao yelled and urged, it just didn't go up the mountain.

During the stalemate, Liu Qiao suddenly felt something, and whispered in the ear of the donkey, begging for mercy: "Master Donkey, don't be stubborn, our nemesis is here..."

After saying that, he hurriedly picked it up with his feet, kicked the burden a lot high, landed firmly on the old donkey's back, grabbed the rein and dragged it into the woods.

The old donkey also seemed to be spiritual, obediently picked up the load, stepped lightly on the grass with all four hooves, not daring to make a sound, quickly followed Liu Qiao and hid in the pine forest.

"Huhu... 翛翛..."

After about twenty or thirty breaths, a dark cloud flew across the sky, about tens of feet above the ground.

The cloud seemed to cover the sun, bringing the wind to the mountains and forests, and the smell was pungent.

Under the lush pine leaves, Liu Qiao and the old donkey were squatting in the grass. The old donkey was lying on the ground, trembling with his head buried in the soil.

Fortunately, there was shade from the trees, and the dewy weather just dilutes the breath of life, so the black smoke didn't notice it, it just flew over the head and disappeared in a blink of an eye.

"Damn...there are monsters..."

Looking at the monster's posture, it was obviously not as easy to provoke as the Nine Lives monster, Liu Qiao felt bitter.

"Ah...enang...enang..."

After the black smoke flew over, the old donkey couldn't help puffing out white air, stood up and bared his teeth and barked twice, trembling all over, obviously urging Liu Qiao to leave quickly.

Liu Qiao thought for a moment, then tore the old donkey off again, and cursed: "Just now I told you to go and you didn't go, but now you come to urge me, you are a stupid donkey..."

"Look at the swiftness of the demon's cloud and light. It is obvious that it is catching life. It will come back in a short time. After passing through the pine forest, there is no shelter on the way. Wouldn't it be spotted by the returning demon..."

After saying that, he stretched out his hand and forcibly pushed the donkey's head to the ground again, and said intimidatingly: "At that time, master, I will have my own sword skills to save my life, but I have pity on you, but sheep go to the tiger's mouth, and meat buns beat dogs..."

As soon as he finished speaking, there was another whistle in the sky, and black smoke flew over his head again.

But this time, the cloud of smoke was obviously much slower, and it was dimly visible that there were seven or eight living people wrapped in it, some old and some young, all crying and shouting in the cloud, but it was not known where the monster came from. .

When the black cloud passed by, the mist fell on the Nanshan Mountain in the distance, and disappeared.

After a long time, Liu Qiao pulled the old donkey to get up. This time the old donkey was no longer stubborn, and followed Liu Qiao all the way up the mountain very spiritually.

I don't know the name of this mountain, but it is very broad. According to the villagers, it is three hundred miles long from east to west. The east side is called Songshuping, and the west side is called Zhulinpo.

It is divided into two mountains, the north and the south, bounded by a cliff and deep stream in the middle. On the left is the South Mountain, also called Peach Forest, surrounded by rocks, with a length and width of hundreds of miles. On the other side is the North Mountain, also called Qingliujian, which is also hundreds of miles wide.

In the middle of the top of the mountain, there is another [-] zhang ping, which is called Jinding. The north and south mountains each have a treasured place for practice. With the addition of Jinding, this mountain has three good terrains.

Originally, Jinding was Liu Qiao's favorite spiritual acupoint, but he was afraid of the Nanshan monster, so he didn't make any plans for the time being, and turned to the North Mountain Qingliujian as a place of practice.

That is to say, there must be water in the stream of Yunqing. Liu Qiao climbed the mountain for two days with one person and one donkey, and finally arrived at Beishan. Sure enough, there were dozens of streams, streams, and small rivers all over the mountain.

After walking for a long time, I saw a small canyon, with white stone cliffs on both sides, and a gap about Zhang Xu in the middle. Turning into the valley, it is thirty or forty Zhang wide in all directions, with exotic flowers and plants in sight.

There is also a hole under the cliff, about seven or eight feet deep, with water in it.

Liu Qiao led the donkey into the cave, and couldn't help stroking his hands with great joy: "That's right, that's right, I've seen it with Qimen Dunjia's phase-dimension technique, and the spiritual vein of Beishan is here, and the terrain is also good, it's a godsend to me." The place where one can practice Taoism..."

The donkey was also excited, put down its burden, jumped up and down in the valley, and happily ate the weeds.

The terrain here is really good. There is a pine forest on the left, and the branches are full of pine nuts hanging down the treetops. There are not only pine trees, but also peach, apricot, cherry, litchi and other trees. There is no shortage of fruits in all seasons.

On the left is a flat lawn with a width of several hundred feet. In the future, we can reclaim wasteland and plant some sealwort, ginseng, wolfberry, etc. to fill our stomachs and keep healthy.

……

In the blink of an eye, more than a month has passed. This month, Liu Qiao has not formally practiced, but has been doing preparations before practicing.

There is a kind of bamboo on this mountain, with thorns on the tips, and it can only grow as thick as a thumb at most. I picked more than a dozen bundles and built four or five thatched huts in front of the cave.

But because the cave is damp, it is not suitable for long-term seclusion in the mortal stage, and it does not conform to the principle of health preservation in four seasons, so it is necessary to build a thatched hut.

In addition, a few acres of wasteland were reclaimed, and some sealworts, yams, and kudzu roots were picked. Some old ones were dried in the sun and eaten as food, and the younger ones were planted.

After the house was built, Liu Qiao calculated that it took exactly one month.

Immediately, he bathed and changed his clothes, lit candles and incense burners, and prepared to start his first practice.

In the cave, there is a table table for the Sanqing ranking, which was carved by Liu Qiao himself with wooden boards to show respect to the ancestors.

The large incense burner in the center is also lit with agarwood at this moment, and faint blue smoke rises from the orifice.

The "black smoke obstructs the air" in the cave... Oh no, according to Xianxia, it should be dense clouds, steaming mist, and immortal air.

Liu Qiao loosened his hair, wore a wide-sleeved Taoist robe, tied with water and fire silk strips, first kowtowed to the patriarch three times, recited the scriptures silently, and prayed:
"May the patriarch bless the disciples to practice smoothly. There will be no swords blocking the way outside, no evil demons to harass the inside, the five aggregates will not grow, and the unclean will not be dirty... Disciple Liu Qiao, bow to the ground to thank..."

This is called thanking the master. Regardless of whether the practice is successful or not, you must thank the master and ancestor who created the method and taught it secretly, because it is the practice of others that you can have the opportunity to transcend the ordinary and become a saint. This kind of grace is like recreation. Death toll is one.

As for whether the patriarch will be blessed or not, Liu Qiao doesn't know, but whether he wants it or not is his business, and he has to do enough courtesy.

Kneel three times and kowtow nine times. After paying homage three times, twist the clean water from the altar and sprinkle it all over the cave with willow branches dipped in water. This is called dust removal.

……

In short, according to the etiquette taught by Jiang Shang before, after playing tricks, Liu Qiao finally picked up the jade book of the fairy family, sat on the futon, and began to practice silently.

There are only a few thousand words in the Xianjia Zhenzhang, but every word is pearls and there is no redundant word. But in the same way, it is also extremely obscure and difficult to understand. They are all classical Chinese and need to be interpreted word by word.

From then on, Liu Qiao practiced in the cave for two hours every morning and practiced martial arts for one hour in the afternoon, after which he carried water, cooked, and farmed.

At night, I turn on the lamp and read at night, and practice the fairy book for an hour.

In this way, it took half a month to finally get a clear understanding of the Yuban Immortal Book handwritten by Jiang Shang, "Hand Explanation of Taoism, Yuxu Yuanshi Tianzun".

The general outline of the book of heaven says: Mix the form and energy of the five viscera and the inner palace, gather the five elements and use kung fu, enter the void to obtain the three flavors, free supernatural powers, pump water and fire, change marrow and tendons, transcend the world of form and spirit, play with good fortune...

Generally speaking, it is nothing more than concentrating on gathering energy, mixing it into a dantou, passing through water and fire (such as sand being forged into green bricks, which will not break after wind and rain), Gou Kanli (like a painting of a dragon and dotting the eyes, with a psychic sense), and female beheading. The red dragon (menstruation), the male Zhu Baihu (gold, liquid), a golden lotus planted in the fire, and the practice of life is called a turtle and a snake... the success returns to one energy.

That is, in the end, only one Qi can be practiced, and then one can play with good fortune and display supernatural powers.

This qi is called innate in the Tao, and if you get it, you will live forever...

———The text of this chapter is over

Regarding the obscurity of this Yuban fairy book, there are poems to prove it in the sequel "Fengshen Yanyi" compiled by Lu Xixing.

say:
The light of the colored glaze is immortal, and the futon discusses the art of immortals in detail.

It is the best in the world to be able to know the subtleties of the heavenly scriptures.
