I am Master Maoshan

Chapter 2351 Destiny

Chapter 2351 Destiny (Part Four)

"This is... Master Han San?" Just as the Taoist priests were in dire straits, Liu Jun, who had been observing from a distance, looked at the zombie's face and his heart trembled. An expression of disbelief appeared on his face.

In an instant, images of his previous life in the mortal realm flashed through Liu Jun's mind.

At that time, he was a novice Taoist priest, wandering around the human world. And Master Han was a special being he met in the human world.

Although Han Sanye is a zombie, he is completely different from other ferocious zombies. He has never committed any misdeeds, nor has he ever drunk human blood. Because he is a descendant of Jiang Chen, he is born with a unique method of cultivation, and only needs to absorb the essence of the moon to maintain his power.

In Liu Jun's memory, Third Master Han was like a silent and kind older brother.

On several occasions, he was in mortal danger, and it was always Master Han who arrived in time, stepped forward, and saved his life.

Therefore, he had a friendship with Master Han, as well as a debt of gratitude, which was a great debt of gratitude to him.

"Uncle-Master, this is Master Han, have you forgotten?" Liu Jun was anxious, with beads of sweat rolling down his forehead. He shouted at Qing Muzi and Master Han with all his might, waving his hands wildly in the air, trying to get their attention and stop the fight from getting out of control.

He wanted to move forward, but found himself confined to this place again, like an invisible cage.

"Third Master Han, stop fighting! Everyone calm down, there must be some misunderstanding!" Liu Jun's voice was pleading, but no one heard his cries, as if they had sunk into the sea.

He knew both of them well, and neither of them were bad people. There must be some misunderstanding.

At this moment, Qing Muzi held a peach wood sword, its blade gleaming with light. His eyes revealed a resolute determination as he attacked Han Sanye with all his might.

Master Han moved with lightning speed, veins bulging on his face, and a chillingly fierce light emanating from his eyes. Every move he made was accompanied by a sharp and powerful aura.

"No need to shout, just watch quietly. Fate has already arranged it, and you can't stop it." The old man stood to the side, arms crossed, and said with a smirk, his eyes revealing a cold indifference that seemed to have seen through the ways of the world.

Indeed, although they weren't far from the fighting scene, they seemed to be in another world, like invisible people. Neither Master Han, nor Qing Muzi, nor the group of Maoshan Taoists could see them, nor could they hear Liu Jun's shouts.

Qing Muzi and other Maoshan Taoist priests had long regarded Han Sanye as a zombie who was causing havoc in the area.

In their minds, wherever a zombie like Master Han San goes, there will inevitably be widespread suffering and death, and the people will suffer terribly.

They had witnessed many places ravaged by zombies; the destroyed villages and the gruesome corpses became irrefutable evidence of Han Sanye's evil deeds. Therefore, they were determined to risk their lives to completely eradicate this demon and restore peace to the world.

"Demon, today is your death day!" Qing Muzi tilted his head back and drank a bottle of unknown liquid. Then his aura surged, and he swung his peach wood sword with great force, the tip of the sword pointing straight at Han Sanye's heart.

The Maoshan Taoist priests behind him also made the same movements, chanting incantations, and talismans shot towards Master Han like shooting stars.

As for Master Han, he was certainly not someone to be trifled with. He was originally a local hero, but due to an accident, he ended up in this state, neither human nor ghost. His heart was full of resentment, so how could he surrender without resistance? Facing the attacks from Qing Muzi and the others, he was not afraid at all. With a flash, he easily dodged most of the talismans and sword strikes.

"Hmph, you ants think you can take my life?" Master Han roared.

With a wave of his hands, a powerful force surged forth, causing the surrounding Maoshan Taoist priests to retreat in disarray.

The battle intensified, filling the air with the strong smells of gunpowder and blood. Seeing that ordinary attacks were having little effect on Master Han, Qing Muzi and his companions steeled themselves and once again used their life-draining secret technique.

Qing Muzi muttered incantations, and his aura changed again. His skin turned bright red, as if burned by flames, and his eyes revealed a crazed light.

"With my blood, I summon the power of heaven and earth to slay this evil!" Qing Muzi roared, and the peach wood sword in his hand burst forth with dazzling light. With a death wish, he charged toward Master Han.

Seeing this, the other Maoshan Taoist priests followed suit, burning their own lives in order to completely eliminate Master Han.

Han Sanye glanced at Qing Muzi and the others rushing towards him, a hint of disdain flashing in his eyes, but more so, wariness. He knew that these Maoshan Taoists, when they fought with their lives on the line, were not to be underestimated. He took a deep breath, his aura becoming even more eerie, as if the surrounding air had frozen.

"Come!" Han Sanye roared, charging towards Qing Muzi and the others. In an instant, swords flashed, talismans flew everywhere, and the entire battlefield turned into a chaotic carnage.

Finally, a horrific scene unfolded. Although Qing Muzi and the others temporarily gained the upper hand by using a secret technique that overdraws their life force, Master Han's strength far exceeded their expectations.

After a fierce battle, Qing Muzi and the other Maoshan Taoists fell one after another, their bodies mangled and their blood staining the ground. Han Sanye was also seriously injured. He stood swaying, looking at everything before him with a complex emotion in his eyes, before collapsing and never moving again.

Liu Jun stared blankly at the bloody scene before him, his heart filled with shock and grief. He had never imagined that the fight would end so tragically.

The old man simply sighed softly and said, "This is fate; no one can change it."

Just then, dozens of figures appeared faintly on the distant horizon. They were dressed in black and moved in a neat and rapid manner, heading towards this direction.

As they drew closer, Liu Juncai noticed that the men in black had the words "So-and-so Pig Farm" embroidered in large white silk thread on their clothes, which looked particularly eerie in the dim light.

These men in black moved with incredible speed and agility, as if they had undergone professional training. Their eyes held a cold, ruthless glint in their eyes. Judging from their demeanor and equipment, they seemed to be the kind of people specifically tasked with cleaning up battlefields. They carried various strangely shaped tools, some resembling giant brooms, others like claw-like grippers.

In the blink of an eye, the Maoshan Taoist priests who had been lying haphazardly on the ground, as well as Master Han, who had died again and whose body was beginning to rot, were all quickly taken away by these men in black.

They had a clear division of labor: some were responsible for moving the bodies, while others were responsible for cleaning up the bloodstains and debris at the scene. They even carefully swept away every scratch and every piece of debris on the ground.

In a short while, the battlefield, which had been a mess and filled with the stench of blood, returned to its original state, as if no fierce battle had ever taken place. Only a faint stench of decay lingered in the air, telling the story of what had just happened.

"Who are these people?" Liu Jun frowned, his eyes filled with doubt, as he looked at the unbelievable scene before him.

"You'll find out later," the old man said meaningfully, standing to the side.

His eyes were deep, and a faint smile played on his face, as if he had expected all of this.

Before Liu Jun could press further, the old man waved his hand again. In an instant, a powerful force surged from his hand, and the scene before him slowly closed like a scroll, then quickly unfolded again. The view shifted once more, as if they had traveled through a time tunnel.

This time, they arrived at a city that resembled an ancient city. The city walls were tall and sturdy, built of huge stones, and covered with various mysterious runes and patterns.

Entering the city, one finds it bustling with activity, yet completely different from the human world. The creatures coming and going either have horns on their heads, each horn having a different shape—some are branched like deer antlers, while others are thick and strong like cow horns; or they have ears on their heads—some are fluffy and cute like rabbit ears, while others are large and long, like bat wings.

These creatures also vary in physical form. Some are tall and muscular, seemingly capable of easily lifting a mountain; others are short and agile, moving as swiftly as lightning.

"These are demons?" Liu Jun stared wide-eyed at the strange creatures before him in disbelief.

The old man didn't say a word, just stood there quietly, his eyes deep and mysterious, as if waiting for something.

As time passed, darkness gradually fell, and the once bustling street became deserted. Fewer demons walked on the street, and those that did pass by hurriedly, as if they were avoiding something.

Just then, a series of hurried footsteps broke the silence of the night. A group of demon soldiers in standard armor rushed past.

These soldiers were all burly and muscular, their armor gleaming with a cold metallic sheen in the dim light.

"Let's go, keep up," the old man said softly.

Liu Jun hesitated for a moment, but seeing the old man's determined eyes, he gritted his teeth and followed him.

They didn't need to fear being discovered by the demon soldiers. As before, they were in a state of near-invisibility, essentially non-existent observers. Even if they banged drums and gongs right next to the demon soldiers, it wouldn't have any effect.

Following the group of demon soldiers, we traversed the narrow and winding streets. The buildings on both sides of the street had a peculiar style; some resembled giant mushrooms, while others looked like twisted tree branches, exuding a mysterious aura.

After walking for about the time it takes for an incense stick to burn, they finally stopped. Liu Jun felt a little tired from walking, but when he saw the scene in front of him, he couldn't help but widen his eyes.

They stopped in front of a mansion. The mansion was tall and magnificent, resembling a small castle. The gates were made of heavy wood, intricately carved with patterns.
Outside the gates of this mansion stood several demon soldiers. These soldiers differed from those who had passed by earlier; their armor was more ornate, and their eyes were sharper, clearly indicating they were elite.

When one of the soldiers saw the group of soldiers returning, he immediately went up to them and began to talk to the leader.

Their voices were low, and Liu Jun and the old man couldn't hear what they were saying, but judging from their expressions and movements, they seemed to be talking about something important.

After a while, the leading soldier nodded and then led the group of soldiers into the mansion. The soldiers on guard straightened up again, their eyes scanning the surroundings warily.
