P.S.: Don't blame me for being late, I spent all night writing 8,000 words, brothers.

Hua Shier stated his request, and Zhou Bingyi and his wife's faces immediately darkened. Before he could finish, he seemed to remember something:
"Oh, right, it's not enough for just your mother-in-law to apologize. You need to have her write a guarantee, and once your father-in-law wakes up, he should also come and apologize to show his sincerity!"

Hao Dongmei's face turned red with anger; she hadn't expected her brother-in-law to use this as leverage.

Zhou Bingyi complained to his elderly father, who was holding his grandson:
"Dad, look at Bingkun, how can he act like this? Dongmei is his own sister-in-law, they're real relatives, how can he do this!"

Zhou Zhigang also felt this was inappropriate, so he handed his eldest grandson, Zhou Cong, to Li Suhua and said earnestly to Hua Twelve:
"Bingkun, life has its ups and downs, everyone has their difficult times. We, the Zhou family, value relationships, so let bygones be bygones. If you help someone now, they will remember this kindness when you are in trouble in the future!"

Upon hearing Zhou Zhigang's words, Hao Dongmei quickly added:
"Yes, Bingkun, our whole family will be grateful to you. If you ever need anything in the future, your sister-in-law will definitely do her best to help."

Hua Twelve chuckled:
"Sister-in-law, I think Dad is wrong. He said everyone has times when they encounter difficulties. I don't think I've ever had those times!"

"So let's not talk about 'later,' I'll just stick to my original condition!"

"Your parents' reputation can't be more important than your father's health, can it? For what happened back then, it's just a matter of having your parents apologize to Dad. Is it a difficult choice for him?"

Zhou Zhigang, standing to the side, felt a pang of sadness as he recalled what had happened back then.

He knew his youngest son was standing up for him, and he was touched that his son still remembered this after all these years. But with his eldest daughter-in-law there, he had to act like an elder and not join his youngest son in his foolishness.

He immediately put on a stern face and pretended to reprimand:

"You bastard, what time was that? Why are you still bringing this up!"

Zhou Bingyi couldn't stand it anymore and slammed his fist on the table to stand up for his wife:

"Zhou Bingkun, what exactly are you trying to do? When my father-in-law was healthy, he didn't agree to your unreasonable demands. Now that he's sick and needs Zheng Juan to treat him, you're using this to blackmail him. Aren't you taking advantage of his vulnerability?"

Zhou Zhigang's face darkened upon hearing this. What was his eldest son saying? Was it an unreasonable demand to apologize to his own father?
Hua Shier noticed the old man's expression and said with a smile:

"Zhou Bingyi, can you tell me what constitutes an unreasonable demand?"

"Back then, the old man cleaned the house thoroughly to welcome his in-laws, but what happened? He just said he wasn't coming!"

"The old man brought two boxes of new tea from the south and presented them to his in-laws like treasures, but what happened? He returned them unopened. Don't you think the old man is being humiliated?"

"You've been married for over ten years, and this old man has never met your sister-in-law's family. Isn't that a joke?"

Hua Shier's voice gradually rose:

"Those who know, Dad and Old Man Hao are in-laws. Those who don't, would think that Dad got those two boxes of tea by asking someone for a favor and pulling strings!"

Hua Shier pointed at Zhou Bingyi's nose and asked, word by word:
"You're the eldest son of the Zhou family. Your father was wronged and is asking for an apology. You come and explain yourself. What? You call this an unreasonable demand?!"

Zhou Bingyi realized he had misspoke and quickly explained to his father:

"Dad, that's not what I meant!"

Zhou Zhigang remained silent, his face dark.

Hua Shier pressed aggressively: "So what do you mean?"

"Oh, so you subconsciously assume that your father-in-law has a high status and great power, and that his identity is different, like royalty or nobles, and that he can't apologize to us ordinary folks?"

Zhou Bingyi said guiltily:
"Don't try to be unreasonable. That's not what I meant. There were reasons for everything back then, and nobody wanted this!"

Hua Twelve scoffed:
Whether someone wants to or not, who can say for sure?

"But I understand one thing: even if you accidentally bump into someone while walking, you should still say sorry! That's called politeness and respect!"

"Just because you have a high position and a lot of power doesn't mean you can act all high and mighty, Klass. Just pretend nothing happened!"

Zhou Zhigang sighed, stood up, and walked outside.

He always thought he had a straight back, but today he realized, or rather, understood, that his youngest son's back was even straighter and stronger than his own!

Zhou Bingyi exclaimed subconsciously:

"dad!"

Zhou Zhigang waved his hand;
"I'm craving a cigarette, I'm going out for a walk and have a smoke!"

Hao Dongmei was initially quite angry, but her face turned bright red after Hua Shier's words.

Because she was educated, cultured, and understood principles, she knew right from wrong.

Hao Dongmei felt that what Hua Shier said made a lot of sense: if you are wrong, you should admit it, regardless of your status or position.

Although this statement is too idealistic, her parents participated in the revolution back then precisely to establish a fair and just social order, to make everyone equal, and to allow ordinary people to speak with their heads held high.

But when she recalled her parents' attitude towards her in-laws, they even considered admitting their mistakes a loss of face. Wasn't that just because they couldn't let go of their official airs? How was that any different from those corrupt people they had overthrown?

Hao Dongmei thought that if her husband's family had a higher status than her own, or if they were a better match, her parents would definitely have a different attitude.

Hao Dongmei stood up in shame:
“Bingkun, you’re right. My parents were wrong in this matter.”

She took a deep breath: "I'll go back and persuade my mom to come and apologize in person."

Zhou Bingyi grabbed Hao Dongmei:

"Dongmei, you've seen how heartbroken Mom has been since Dad got sick. If you go back and say this, how much more heartbroken will you be!"

Hua Shier rolled his eyes. Zhou Zhigang's son is probably being raised by someone else.

He greatly admired his sister-in-law's awareness:

"Zhou Bingyi, you're not even as good as your own wife!"

Zhou Bingyi blushed with embarrassment after being lectured by Hua Shier.

Hao Dongmei took the opportunity to shake off his hand, went out and rode her bicycle home, and Zhou Bingyi quickly chased after her.

Back at the Hao family residence in S Prefecture, Hao Dongmei told Jin Yueji everything, and the latter immediately became angry and said:
"Look at this kind of relative, using your father's illness as leverage. Does Zhou Bingkun have any sense of family? Has he ever considered you his sister-in-law?"

Jin Yueji grew increasingly angry as she spoke, and turned to Zhou Bingyi;
"Zhou Bingyi, is this your brother? If you can't even manage your own brother, how can you manage the logistics of a military factory with tens of thousands of employees?"

"I really regret assigning you to the military factory now. I can see now that you don't have the ability!"

"No, I'll go to Organization B tomorrow and have them transfer you to a factory workshop to work as a laborer and get some experience."

Zhou Bingyi was so angry he was red in the face. When he heard that he was going to be transferred to the workshop as a worker, he felt like the sky had fallen.

Just then, Hao Dongmei suddenly exploded. She stood up and shouted:
"enough!"

Kim Wol-hee, who had never seen her daughter act this way before, looked incredulous and said with trembling lips:

"Dongmei? Are you talking to me?"

"Good, good, you've grown wings."

Hao Dongmei's tears streamed down her face instantly:
"Mom, everyone knows what really happened back then. All your reasons are just excuses. To put it bluntly, you just look down on my husband's family because of their low social status!"

Kim Wol-hee slammed her hand on the table: "We didn't!"

Hao Dongmei's eyes were filled with tears, but a mocking smile appeared on her face:
"Alright, then let me ask you, which family has been married for over ten years and the in-laws haven't met each other? Even if it were a princess marrying into the family, the emperor wouldn't be as grand as you two, would he?"

"You're putting on airs bigger than emperors!"

These words enraged Jin Yueji: "Hao Dongmei, shut up!"

Hao Dongmei stiffened her neck:

"My brother-in-law has these conditions, and I don't think it's too difficult for him. If you want to save my dad, just apologize and talk to him properly. What's so difficult about that!"

"You said back then that my dad's position represented a lot and that we couldn't bow down to him, but now that he's retired due to illness, can't you apologize on his behalf?"

Jin Yueji practically screamed, "No! Absolutely not!"

Hao Dongmei stared at her mother blankly for a while, then ran upstairs crying.

Zhou Bingyi was extremely embarrassed. On one side was his mother-in-law, and on the other side was his immature younger brother. He was caught in the middle and had no choice but to accept the situation.

"Mom, calm down, I'm going upstairs to check on Dongmei!"

Zhou Bingyi tried to slip away, but Jin Yueji stopped him:

"and many more!"

Zhou Bingyi stopped in his tracks and said cautiously:

"Mom, is there anything else? Please tell me and I'll do it!"

Jin Yueji felt much better when she saw that Zhou Bingyi's attitude towards her had not changed at all.
"Mom was angry just now, please don't take it to heart. I wanted to ask you, what time does your sister-in-law usually make house calls?"

Zhou Bingyi thought for a moment: "I heard my mother mention it once. It seems that her acupuncture is quite mentally taxing, so she only sees patients twice a week, on Tuesdays and Thursdays!"

Jin Yueji nodded and said, "Okay, go and get an appointment for your dad, then we'll go straight to the hospital!"

She had previously asked Hao Dongmei to find Zheng Juan because she wanted to use their family ties to have Zheng Juan come to her home to treat her husband.

But since the other party was making things difficult, she decided to go and register for a doctor openly and honestly.

Jin Yueji had already planned everything out. If they refused again, then she would be in the right, and she would go to the WS department to demand an explanation.

If Zheng Juan refuses to treat Lao Hao, then she lacks medical ethics and her medical license should be revoked!

Zhou Bingyi had obviously thought of this as well, and he felt that his mother-in-law was very shrewd; this was a calculated move. He immediately agreed.
"Okay, Mom, I'll go register first thing tomorrow morning. But I heard there are a lot of people looking for my sister-in-law to see, so even if I get an appointment, I'll have to wait many days!"

Kim Wol-hee nodded:
"Then let's take turns, but don't tell Dongmei about this yet, lest she gossips and ruin things again!"

Zhou Bingyi registered the next day, but the appointment time was already scheduled for six months later.

When I told Jin Yueji about it, she frowned a little but didn't say anything. The health department staff would give Lao Hao a physical examination every week. According to them, although Lao Hao had become a vegetable, if he was well cared for, he could live for seven or eight years without any problem. He could wait for half a year.

Half a year has passed in a flash. During this period, Hongxing Group has developed rapidly. The instant noodles produced by the group have already completed the plan set by Qu Xiuzhen. With its unique taste, affordable price, and the celebrity effect of Zhu Shimao's widespread promotion, the products have quickly occupied the national market.

Now, wherever there's a TV or radio, even little kids can say, "Zhou's instant noodles, the nutrition is visible!"

Currently, Master Zhou's instant noodles have been continuously updated with new products, including braised beef, shrimp and fish cake noodles, mushroom stewed chicken noodles, and pickled cabbage noodles.

The production lines for instant noodles were expanded one after another, and workshops were built one after another.

For a large part of the past six months, Huashier has been spending its time miserably using Shenji Bailian to work on the production line.

At the same time, Hongxing Group recruited workers on a large scale, which was like a timely rain, nourishing the land of Jichun that was suffering from the wave of layoffs.

In just six months, the group absorbed more than 3000 laid-off workers, many of whom were key technical personnel laid off from major state-owned factories.

The front page of the Jichun Daily published a lengthy report titled "A Bowl of Instant Noodles Warms Millions of Homes," which detailed how Hongxing Group transformed from a company on the verge of bankruptcy into a star enterprise that solved the employment problem for laid-off workers.

The article specifically mentions that in the production workshop of Hongxing Group, more than 70% of the workers are in their forties or fifties. They continue to shine in Hongxing Group at the end of their careers.

In the same year, Hua Twelve spoke at the National Outstanding Entrepreneurs Commendation Conference:

"We not only want ordinary people to be able to afford good noodles, but also want workers to have stable jobs!"

The moment he uttered those words, he not only received cheers and applause from the entire audience, but also earned praise from the leader!
Hua Shier quickly became a nationally renowned star entrepreneur.

During the meeting in Beijing, Hua Shier also donated 10 million RMB to his alma mater, Yenching University, in his personal capacity to establish a scholarship fund.

However, when the school leaders saw the specific details of his scholarship fund, they couldn't help but laugh and cry at the same time.

The Huashi 12 Scholarship Fund is simple: it supports students who want to study abroad. However, there's a condition: students must sign a guarantee before receiving the funding.

The general idea is that this money is only considered a grant for students who have successfully completed their studies abroad, choose to return to China for employment, and work for more than five years.

For those who leave and never return, the grants are automatically converted into student loans with the highest interest rate under local laws.

Most people in the future can see online how terrible student loans are in the United States. Before Hua Twelve entered this world, he had seen related reports on the internet in the real world. It is said that 560 million people in the United States have fallen into a credit crisis due to student loans, resulting in the collapse of their personal finances.

Even more frightening is that in the United States, student loans are the only type of debt that cannot be forgiven through bankruptcy.

In other words, even if you end up homeless, you'll have to pay this money back sooner or later!
Hua Shier planned to do this: he would sponsor all the tuition fees of his juniors who would come back to build the motherland after studying abroad!
If you don't come back and want to swear allegiance to the foreign devils, then you can't talk about it anymore. This loan, which was originally a grant, will force you into bankruptcy if you earn less money!
Furthermore, Hua Twelve will also establish legal departments overseas and hire local lawyers to handle debt collection and legal matters.

Of course, it's also possible that some people will stubbornly refuse to pay or find some legal loophole to evade their debts.

In that case, even if Hua Shier doesn't get his money back, the [Feng Baobao-style shovel] in his storage space will have something to say:

Swing the droplet round, bury it deep, and enjoy the muddy mess!

The school leaders specifically spoke with Huashi No. 12, saying that this was not good, that it was too deliberate and seemed petty, that it would affect unity, and that it would not sound good internationally.

Hua Shier clearly stated: I am stingy, oh yeah!
The school was also at a loss, and considering the social influence of Huashi No. 12, they had no choice but to grit their teeth and accept the scholarship.

What they didn't expect was that the establishment of this scholarship fund allowed the Guo family to retain many talented people in this world compared to the real world, but that's another story.

That day, Hua Shier was in the office of Hongxing Group, listening to Qu Xiuzhen and several leaders from the instant noodle factory give a work summary.

Qu Xiuzhen smiled and said:
"Our Master Zhou instant noodles have already met the pre-order plan ahead of schedule. It has become a bestseller across the country in just six months. In the next six months, our plan is to sell to other Southeast Asian countries, just like our other products, and ideally to Europe and America!"

"Bingkun, you're familiar with export matters, so you'll have to put more effort into this!"

Hua Twelve pondered for a moment:
"Okay, but I have two points to make. First, the quality of domestic products cannot be lowered because of this. The materials used must be of guaranteed quality. The quality supervision department should provide training to ensure quality control and not lose our reputation in the domestic market. Otherwise, we will be picking up sesame seeds and losing watermelons!"

In the early 1990s, a certain craftsman was about to enter the mainland market. Hua Twelve was already prepared, not even leaving the other party a drop of soup. This is called wearing other people's shoes and walking other people's roads, leaving others with no way to walk.

"Secondly, I think we should organize some people to do some research first. We can't blindly enter the foreign market. We need to have products that suit the local tastes!"

Qu Xiuzhen nodded in agreement and was about to speak when Hua Shier's internal phone rang.

"Who? Zhou Bingyi brought his father-in-law to our factory hospital? To register?"

Hua Shier was so angry he laughed:
"Didn't we already make things clear? You're shameless, aren't you! Fine, don't go out yet, wait for me!"

Qu Xiuzhen asked curiously, "Did Lao Hao come to our hospital for treatment?"

Hua Shier waved his hand, signaling the others to leave. Only after they had left did he recount what had happened.

Qu Xiuzhen frowned as well. Logically speaking, Hua Shier's conditions weren't high. It was just a matter of apologizing, so why was he being so stubborn?

Hua Shier said to Qu Xiuzhen, "Then I'll go to the hospital to get checked out first!"

Qu Xiuzhen stood up: "I'll go with you!"

Hua Shier called the driver to wait downstairs, then went downstairs with Qu Xiuzhen and took a car to the Red Star Group's hospital building.

Upon entering the Traditional Chinese Medicine department, I saw an elderly woman banging on the table at the reception desk.
“Where is Zheng Juan? Tell her to come out. Why won’t she see us? Everyone, be the judge. We’ve been waiting in line for more than half a year, and now she won’t see us. Let me tell you, Zheng Juan is a relative of ours. Just because we’re relatives and we’ve offended her family over some trivial matters, she won’t even treat my old man’s illness. Does she have any medical ethics?”

Jin Yueji pointed to the banner on the wall: "I want to ask, is Dean Zheng really such a benevolent doctor?"

Beside the old lady, Zhou Bingyi's face was flushed, and he didn't know what to say, but he didn't see Hao Dongmei.

Qu Xiuzhen hurriedly went to greet her:
"Old Jin, what are you doing? Can't you talk things out properly!"

The little old lady was none other than Zhou Bingyi's mother-in-law, Jin Yueji.

Hua Shier stepped forward, looked at Zhou Bingyi, and asked coldly:
"What are you doing?"

Jin Yueji ignored Qu Xiuzhen, and Chaohua Twelve said:
"How dare you talk to your brother like that? What are you doing? We're here to see a doctor. Are you Zheng Juan's husband, or the chairman of Hongxing Group? Let me ask you, we registered at your hospital and got our turn, why won't you see us?"

At this moment, Yu Hong, the head nurse of the Traditional Chinese Medicine department, quickly stepped forward:
"Chairman, that's not the case. Dean Zheng has already reviewed the patient's examination report. It's the patient himself who doesn't meet the treatment requirements!"

Jin Yueji retorted, "Nonsense! Your hospital has cured so many people in a vegetative state, so why is it that our family doesn't meet the treatment requirements!"

Zhou Bingyi walked up with a sheepish expression and handed Hua Shier a medical report:
"This is my father-in-law's medical report from last week. Even if surgery is needed, he is fully eligible!"

Hua Shier was not only a master of traditional Chinese medicine, but also the second best surgeon in the 1980s. He was highly skilled in both traditional Chinese and Western medicine. After taking a look, he found that there was nothing wrong with it.

But at this moment, Zheng Juan, having heard that Hua Shier had gone outside, came out of the office wearing a white coat and said:

"Those are the test reports they brought, but our hospital performed an X-ray on the patient, and the results were different. The patient showed signs of brain herniation and indeed did not meet the treatment criteria!"

She handed an X-ray to Hua Shier.

Hua Shier took a look and indeed found brain herniation, and the area was not small. It didn't look like it was newly formed; it must have been there for a few days.

If what Zhou Bingyi said is true, Hao's father was examined last week, then after the examination, the old man must have had a brain hemorrhage. It's just that because he was in a vegetative state and the bleeding point was not large, it did not attract much attention.

Looking at the X-ray now, the bleeding has stopped, but the blood pooling in the brain has already caused damage.

No matter how miraculous the Thirteen Ghost Needles that Zheng Juan learned from him are, they cannot restore a damaged brain. In this condition, a person in a vegetative state can be declared brain dead, and cannot be saved by conventional treatment methods.

Jin Yueji pointed at Zheng Juan:

"I can tell you just don't want to treat us. I don't care, we registered through the proper channels. If you don't treat us, we'll sue you!"

Hua Shier was too lazy to talk to the old lady, so he went directly to the hospital office and called the First Municipal Hospital to find Hao Dongmei.

"Sister-in-law, come here! Your mother is causing trouble at Hongxing Hospital!"

Hao Dongmei rushed over and understood what had happened when she saw Zhou Bingyi and Jin Yueji.

Hua Shier didn't say much, and handed over the two X-ray films: "Sister-in-law, you're also a medical student, take a look for yourself!"

Hao Dongmei was shocked when she saw this, and tears welled up in her eyes. She quickly explained the situation to her mother, but Jin Yueji didn't believe her at all. She shouted that she was going to the WS department and to sue Zheng Juan in court.

Hua Shier pointed outwards: "Get out of here! We welcome people to see a doctor, but if you're causing trouble, get lost and don't delay other people from seeing a doctor!"

At the urging of her daughter and Qu Xiuzhen, Jin Yueji arranged for Hao's father to be transferred to the First Municipal Hospital for a detailed physical examination. The examination results proved that the diagnosis from Hongxing Hospital was exactly the same.

Jin Yueji and Hao Dongmei embraced and wept bitterly. They took Hao's father home and kept him alive with intravenous nutrition, hoping he could hold on for as long as possible.

This is a situation that most families couldn't afford to endure, but given Hao's father's status, he had 24-hour oxygen and IV fluids, and all the medical staff were on hand, allowing him to live much longer than the average person in the same situation.

That night, Hua Shier brought Zheng Juan to the Hao family and told Jin Yueji and Hao Dongmei directly that although modern medicine could not cure Hao's father's condition, he could!

Hua Twelve smiled and said:
“Ask Zheng Juan. I taught her all her acupuncture skills. It’s still the same condition: as long as you, Grandma Jin, write a guarantee and apologize, I can treat Old Man Hao right now, and it will be effective on the spot!”

Jin Yueji and Hao Dongmei initially didn't believe it, but with Zheng Juan as a witness, Old Lady Jin finally relented, her voice trembling with tears:
“Okay, I’ll write it. As long as you can revive my wife, you will be a benefactor to our family. Old Hao and I will go to your Zhou family to apologize to your father-in-law!”

The old lady had never given in her life; her hands were trembling when she wrote the guarantee.

Hua Shier, having received the guarantee, kept his word. He had Grandma Jin send the medical staff away, leaving only himself in the room. He then used his dual-wielding skills on Old Man Hao to repair his brain injury.

However, Hua Shier is selective in his actions; he is not the type to repay evil with kindness when others wrong him.

He only cured half of Old Man Hao's condition, enough to make him wake up and regain his senses.

As for the many aftereffects that Old Hao suffered after waking up, such as total paralysis, facial paralysis, incontinence, drooling, etc., these have nothing to do with him, nor were they caused by him. He has no obligation to cure them all, as that would consume too much of his vital energy.

As soon as he came out of the room, Jin Yueji and Hao Dongmei immediately went up to ask him what was wrong. Hua Shier smiled and said:
"I have successfully completed my mission. The old man will wake up in five minutes at most!"

Sure enough, in less than five minutes, Old Hao woke up, and he didn't feel the weakness he had experienced from being bedridden for many days. He seemed very energetic because he still had a trace of true qi left by Hua Twelve in his body.

The old man was in good spirits, but his mouth was crooked, his eyes were slanted, and he was drooling.

Hao Dongmei felt she had witnessed a medical miracle, while Jin Yueji said to Hua Shier:

"You were able to revive my husband, but why can't he get up? And why is his mouth and eyes so crooked? You have to fix those too!"

Hua Twelve said in an annoyed tone:

"I deserve this! Your husband, Lao Hao, was declared brain dead by the hospital. I've already done a great job saving him. Instead of thanking me, you're asking for this and that. While your husband is still in good spirits, let's settle the matter of the apology!"

Jin Yueji glared at Hua Shier without saying a word. The latter looked at Hao Dongmei, who then braced herself and explained the situation.

Mr. Hao's father had a crooked mouth and slanted eyes, but he was not weak-willed.

"No, saving lives is your duty. Besides, I didn't agree to anything. I'm tired, you can all leave!"

He drooled constantly while speaking.

Hao Dongmei panicked: "Dad, you can't do this, Mom."

Jin Yueji sneered: "I agreed, and I can apologize, but I have no right to agree on behalf of Lao Hao. If he doesn't agree, there's nothing I can do!"

Hua Shier laughed in exasperation: "Fine, then Zheng Juan and I will be leaving now. Zhou Bingyi, you see me off."

Zhou Bingyi nodded and, together with Hao Dongmei, saw them out. Hao Dongmei apologized repeatedly. Just as they reached the door, Jin Yueji called out:

"Dongmei, your dad wants some fruit. Go to the kitchen and peel an apple!"

Hao Dongmei apologized to Hua Shier, saying she would thank him properly when she got home. After saying that, she could only obediently go to the kitchen to find an apple.

Zhou Bingyi escorted Hua Shier and Zheng Juan out alone. Once outside the small Western-style building, Hua Shier pointed ahead:
"Send me another paragraph, I have something to say!"

Feeling guilty, Zhou Bingyi nodded and followed the couple, muttering awkwardly:

"Bingkun, don't take it to heart by arguing with an old man!"

Reaching a secluded grove within the S mansion, Hua Twelve suddenly stopped. After looking around to make sure no one was there, he smiled and said:
"To tell you the truth, I could have completely cured your father-in-law's illness without leaving any aftereffects, but I deliberately held back a trick to see if you would admit your mistake."

Zhou Bingyi's expression changed drastically upon hearing this. He was about to speak when Hua Shier raised his hand to stop him:
"It's a pity that you still maintain that high and mighty official attitude."

He sneered, "Since that's the case, then I'll just say it right here—"

As he spoke, he suddenly raised his right hand: "I, Zhou Bingkun, swear to heaven that if I ever treat your parents-in-law again, may my elder brother, Zhou Bingyi, suffer a terrible death!"

Zhou Bingyi was stunned at first, then trembled with rage: "You, you swore a poisonous oath, what right do you have to take me down?"

"After you've finished talking about your in-laws..."

Hua Shier didn't give him a chance to speak, a cold glint flashing in his eyes: "It's time to settle our score!"

Before he finished speaking, he suddenly kicked Zhou Bingyi, sending him flying into the depths of the woods. Zheng Juan rushed forward to stop him, but Hua Shier blocked her way.
"Wife, don't get involved in this!"

Hua Twelve rushed into the woods, followed by a series of muffled thuds from punches and kicks and painful howls.

"I'll teach you to scheme against Zheng Juan! You even dare to scheme against your own sister-in-law! Are you even human?!" Hua Shier's angry curses echoed through the woods.

Half an hour later, Hao Dongmei, who had been waiting for her husband to return, followed the sound and found Zhou Bingyi lying on the ground in the grove.

His once refined and elegant face was now swollen like a pig's head, his clothes covered in mud and fallen leaves, and he was groaning in pain.

"Bingyi!" Hao Dongmei cried out and rushed forward. She looked around but Hua Shier and his wife were nowhere to be seen. Only a few startled leaves were still swirling in the air.

When Zhou Bingyi returned and told Hao's father and Jin Yueji that he could save Hua Shier but hadn't done his best, they were immediately dumbfounded.

Two weeks later, unable to bear the helplessness of being paralyzed any longer, Mr. Hao finally gave in and had his wife, daughter, and son-in-law take him to apologize.

Zhou Zhigang was easy to talk to, but Hua Shier only said one word: "Get lost!"
