Chapter 1523 Nezha: Father, where is your tower?
Chapter 1523 Nezha: Father, where is your tower? (Please subscribe)
The one who came to Guanjiangkou to deliver the imperial decree was Nezha. As soon as he entered, he shouted and yelled for his senior brother to come out.
Hua Shier, carrying an iron fan, came out to greet Nezha and introduced her: "This is your sister-in-law!"
Nezha quickly and respectfully stepped forward to greet his sister-in-law: "Your younger brother Nezha greets sister-in-law!"
Iron Fan quickly returned the greeting: "Greetings, Uncle!"
Hua Shier listened to this and felt awkward. Although he knew the address was correct, he still felt that there was a generational gap.
Nezha, still childlike in nature, felt nothing for the beautiful Iron Fan; in fact, he felt quite uncomfortable and immediately grinned.
"Sister-in-law, you go about your business. I've come to talk to my senior brother!"
As she spoke, she grabbed Hua Shier's arm and led him outside.
Once outside, Nezha asked excitedly, "I heard you beat up that old man?"
Hua Shier was stunned for a moment, then realized who the old man Nezha was talking about was, and immediately laughed:
"That man is your father, after all. I don't think you can really go all out against him. You were just playing around!"
Nezha stomped his feet in anger:
"What face do I have? If I had any face, would you have cheated me out of my food and then not paid me back?"
"You don't give me face when I should, but you give me face randomly when I shouldn't. It makes me so angry!"
Hua Shier was speechless. Can we please stop talking about that pancake?
He patted Nezha on the shoulder: "Since you say so, next time that person offends me, I won't be polite to him!"
"That's exactly right!"
Nezha became excited again, but his expression quickly fell, and he pulled out an imperial decree:
"It's definitely not going to happen anytime soon. Senior brother, you've gotten yourself into big trouble this time. The Great Celestial Venerable has punished you by drawing a circle around your body and has assigned the Four Duty Officers to supervise you. You're not allowed to leave the Erlang Zhenjun Temple for a thousand years. It's such a pity!"
Hua Twelve accepted the imperial decree, unconcerned about the so-called "drawing a circle around oneself" or "being imprisoned." He smiled and asked:
What are you regretting?
Nezha puffed up his cheeks in anger: "Of course it's a pity you can't beat that person up again for a thousand years!"
Hua Twelve beckoned Nezha to the main hall, had celestial tea served, and then asked:
"How long has it been since those days? Haven't you let go of them yet?"
Nezha's face turned cold, and he gritted his teeth.
"Let go? I had already let go when I returned my bones to my father and my flesh to my mother!"
"But what did he do? He smashed my temple and destroyed my golden statue. If my master hadn't been an incarnation of a lotus, I would have been a wandering ghost long ago."
He choked up as he spoke, then his voice cracked with rage:
"But he has that pagoda protecting him, which counters my lotus Dharma body, leaving me helpless. He even uses it to drive me into battle, forcing me to gain merit for him!"
Hua Shier then asked, "If I gave you a chance to get revenge and make that pagoda unable to control you, would you rather beat it up to vent your anger, or fight it out to the death?"
Nezha clenched his little fist: "Of course!"
Before he could finish speaking, Hua Shier reminded him, "Think carefully before you answer me. Don't act impulsively!"
Nezha then calmed down and thought it over carefully:
"Although I have severed all ties with him, for my mother's sake, I'll let it go by killing him, but I'll still beat him every time I see him!"
Hua Shier smiled:
"If that's the case, I think we can team up and pull off a heist. I see that pagoda that guy has looks pretty good, why don't we..."
Nezha's eyes grew brighter as he listened, but he asked suspiciously:
"But you've been imprisoned by the Great Celestial Venerable, how can we join forces?"
Hua Shier smiled mysteriously:
"That's easy. Just wait for my news. In short, the pagoda will be mine, and the person will be yours!"
Nezha left with a hopeful look on his face. He knew that his senior brother Yang Jian was not the kind of person who spoke without reason, and he was just waiting to vent his anger!
When Princess Iron Fan learned that her husband had been imprisoned, she was extremely worried:
"My husband has offended the Great Celestial Venerable, what should we do!"
Hua Shier wasn't worried at all; instead, he comforted his wife:
"What's the big deal? He's been disliking my nephew for a long time now. Don't worry, nothing will happen!"
He took out some pills and handed them to Iron Fan: "You have only recently become an immortal and need to stabilize your realm. It just so happens that I also need to comprehend the profound laws. We can go into seclusion for a while!"
Seeing that he spoke so casually and didn't seem to be faking it, Iron Fan felt relieved.
The two began their seclusion at the same time, each entering a hall, each containing a spirit-gathering array for cultivation.
Instead of immediately focusing on consolidating his cultivation realm, Hua Shier set up an incense table and began drawing rewards from the previous world's missions.
In this world, he dared not beg for help from all the gods and Buddhas. What if they actually came down to reminisce with him? Wouldn't that expose the system's existence?
Therefore, he only prayed for the protection of the Great Dao and Heaven and Earth, and then called upon the system to submit the task.
The next instant, the system's voice appeared in his mind:
"Ding, lottery start. Ding, congratulations to the host for winning 'Grandmaster-level Culinary Skills'. You can claim your reward at any time."
Hua Shier's facial muscles twitched. "Damn, are you that ruthless?"
He thought to himself that it was all Grandpa Cui's fault for making him learn cooking skills for a period of time and hoping that he would become a chef instead of a celebrity. Needless to say, only Grandpa Cui had master-level cooking skills, so he must have learned them from him.
Hua Shier had no choice but to extract the knowledge. In an instant, his mind was filled with all sorts of culinary knowledge. Like a chef who had practiced hard for decades, he had reached the level of a master chef who could do whatever he wanted in the culinary world.
"What's the use of this thing?!"
Hua Shier was both amused and exasperated, and began the second lottery draw.
"Ding! Congratulations, host, you have drawn the talent 'Craftsmanship Technique'. You can claim your reward at any time."
(Note: Zhuangzi said, "Gongchui's skill is so great that it surpasses the compass and square." Gongchui's talent is so great that his skill approaches the Dao, which can increase the host's weapon-refining ability by 300%!)
famous!
Hua Shier was overjoyed. He already possessed the ability of "Divine Refinement" and was skilled in weapon crafting. Now, having drawn the talent of "Crafting Heaven Method," his weapon crafting skills were greatly enhanced.
After thanking Heaven and Earth and the Great Dao, Hua Twelve was about to go into seclusion when suddenly his heart stirred. He glanced at the golden bracelet on his left wrist and had an epiphany:
"Six-winged, your time has come!"
With a flick of his wrist, the golden bracelet transformed into a golden centipede with a single horn, bursting out of the formation, flying out of the Zhenjun Temple, and circling and swimming above the mouth of the Guanjiang River.
Above the heavens, a cloud of calamity was forming, and within a few breaths it pressed down, plunging the area within a hundred miles into darkness.
Thunder roared within the tribulation clouds, its energy firmly locked onto the six-winged centipede. Undeterred, the golden centipede charged directly into the tribulation clouds, unleashing a torrent of lightning as it moved about, as if tempering itself with thunder and fire.
The six-winged creature is Hua's 12th natal Gu, and the two should complement each other.
However, Hua Shier was a cheat code player, whose strength improved too rapidly. He achieved the level that others could only reach over thousands of years in a short period of time. Therefore, the improvement of the Six Wings could not keep up with the master of the natal Gu.
Even so, it also benefited from Hua Twelve's advancement. Therefore, even if the thunder and fire were fierce and had the power to destroy the world, it posed no danger to it and could only become an aid and nourishment for its advancement.
Look at that golden centipede with a single horn, bathing in the tribulation lightning within the thunderclouds, refining its entire body.
Gradually, pieces of carapace fell off the six-winged body, revealing new, enormous scales that resembled fish scales. The thousand legs beneath it fell off, and four sharp claws with five fingers grew out.
The Meishan brothers, watching the six-winged man undergo his tribulation, exclaimed in unison:
"A five-clawed golden dragon!"
With its six wings making one last spiral, the dragon opened its mouth and instantly swallowed the tribulation clouds and countless lightning bolts into its belly. The next instant, lightning began to emerge from the nine orifices of the five-clawed golden dragon, as it used the tribulation lightning to temper its dragon body and purify its bloodline!
As the strange phenomenon dissipated, clouds rose beneath the six-winged creature's feet, its aura soaring, causing all beasts within a thousand miles to lie in wait, and the dragon's roar resounded throughout heaven and earth!
A poem says:
A hundred-legged creature, having cultivated its skills for a thousand years, now drinks the breeze from the stream deep within Ping Mountain.
This morning, a sudden thunderclap was heard, and an iron spine stretched across, bearing the bow of the sun and moon.
The Goddess of Lightning unfurls her flag, its light dazzling; the God of Thunder beats his drum, his aura swallowing the rainbow.
With a thunderous roar, the Heavenly Gate opened, and the centipede, broken free of its mortal form, transformed into a dragon.
After successfully transcending the tribulation, the six-winged creature glanced down at the True Lord Temple, and with a wave of its dragon claws, it actually rode the clouds and flew away into the distance.
"They've grown too big for their britches!"
Hua Shier's face darkened, and he gave a cold laugh: "You wretched beast, you think you can just leave after offending the abbot!"
A portal opened in front of him. He casually reached out and saw a colossal hand appear on the distant horizon. It grabbed the golden dragon by its seven-inch mark and pulled it into the void, where it disappeared.
Inside the Spirit Gathering Array, Hua Shier looked at the golden dragon, which was the size of an earthworm, in his palm and sneered. The golden dragon was none other than the six-winged creature that had flown away, and it was nodding and pleading with him.
Hua Shier naturally knew what had just happened. He had refined the Six Wings into his natal Gu using the methods of the Five Poisons Sect of the 'Laughing at the World'.
That method is too low-level, so its binding force is not strong.
At first it was fine, but as the Six Wings' strength continued to improve, the Blood Refining Technique of the Natal Gu became less and less restrictive to it.
Normally, Six-Winged would not dare to rebel while by Hua Twelve's side. But this time, taking advantage of the tribulation, the insect actually developed a disloyal heart and wanted to break free of its shackles and leave him.
"Master, spare me! Master, spare me!" After the Six-Winged Bone Tribulation, its horizontal bone had been removed, and it could speak. It kept begging in Hua Twelve's palm, saying that it would never dare to do it again.
Hua Twelve smiled faintly:
"You've followed me for many years, you should know my character. Once I'm disloyal, I'll never use you again. Since you've got this idea, I can't keep you here!"
He refined the six wings into his natal Gu, but he didn't gain any advantage. It was this centipede demon that followed him all the way and even tried to run away in the end. What use is such a thing?
With a single grab, Hua Shier extracted the six-winged dragon soul, cast a spell to erase its divine consciousness, and then stored the dragon soul away for use in refining weapons.
The poor six-winged centipede, having just transformed into a dragon, hadn't even had a chance to take flight before being casually crushed to death for betraying its master.
Hua Shier also had a use for the dragon's body that was left behind. He reluctantly separated a wisp of his primordial spirit and sent it into the dragon's body to begin refining it.
The five-clawed golden dragon has unlimited potential, and Hua Shier wants to refine the six wings into his second primordial spirit.
Didn't the Great Celestial Venerable order him to draw a circle around himself and imprison himself?
With this second primordial spirit, he could go out and cause trouble without being discovered.
In just three days, Hua Shier cultivated the Five-Clawed Golden Dragon into its second primordial spirit.
Now, this five-clawed golden dragon can be called his second primordial spirit, or it can be called his natal Gu, because the power of the natal Gu has not disappeared. It still complements and assists the main body, and can also take fatal attacks for the main body.
Having settled his second primordial spirit, Hua Shier discussed with the system in his mind that he needed to go into seclusion for a while, and asked if he could refrain from being assigned any tasks until his seclusion ended.
The system agreed in a very humane way, and then fell silent.
Time flies like an arrow. Forty-nine years have passed since the Monkey King was thrown into the Eight Trigrams Furnace.
On this day, in the Heavenly Court, in the Tushita Palace, Laozi calculated with his fingers that forty-nine days had passed, and "in principle" the time for the fire to be ready was complete. So he ordered his attendant to open the furnace and take out the elixir.
The two boys cast a spell, opening a crack in the alchemy furnace. A monkey leaped out of the furnace, its eyes flashing with dazzling golden light.
With a whoosh, the monkey kicked over the Eight Trigrams Furnace and headed out.
Leaving aside the chaos in Heaven, in the True Lord Temple at Guankou in the mortal realm, Hua Twelve, who had been in seclusion for many years, suddenly opened his eyes and smiled:
"It's time!"
The next instant, Hua Twelve opened his mouth and spat out a golden light that landed in front of him and transformed into a human form that looked exactly like him.
It was Hua Shier who refined the second primordial spirit using the body of a six-winged dragon.
This second primordial spirit is one with his soul, communicating with each other's thoughts; one could even say that it is his other body.
As soon as the second primordial spirit landed, it smiled at Hua Twelve and said, "I understand your intentions, fellow Daoist. Now go quickly!"
Hua Shier stood up and nodded to the other person: "You stay here for me and deal with the four duty officers. I'll be right back!"
He immediately used the "Inverted Yin-Yang Technique" to conceal himself, then opened a portal and appeared not far from the South Heavenly Gate.
Outside the mouth of the Guan River, none of the four duty officers responsible for secretly monitoring the area noticed that Erlang Shen had already left the Taoist temple.
As soon as Hua Twelve emerged, he heard shouts of battle and chaos erupting from the Heavenly Court.
However, the four marshals of the Heavenly King of Growth, Ma, Zhao, Wen and Guan, as well as the heavenly soldiers and generals guarding the gate, were all as steady as Mount Tai, making it indeed quite difficult for Hua Twelve to sneak in.
Seeing that forcing his way in was not an option, Hua Shier made a hand seal, his lips barely moving. In no time, Nezha, riding his Wind-Fire Wheels, flew hurriedly from the direction of the Lingxiao Palace, calling out to the Heavenly King of Growth guarding the gate:
"King Zengzhang, Marshals Ma, Zhao, Wen, and Guan, the Great Sage Equal to Heaven has overturned the alchemy furnace and is heading straight for the Lingxiao Palace. We urge you to rush to his rescue!"
The Great Heavenly Venerable was of utmost importance to the Heavenly Court. Upon hearing this, the Heavenly King of Growth dared not be negligent, responded, and led the four marshals away on a cloud.
Once they left, Nezha commanded the heavenly soldiers guarding the gate: "That monkey is powerful, you all go and help him!"
The heavenly soldiers thought that Nezha was conveying the decree of the Great Heavenly Venerable, and dared not disobey, so they all obeyed and went to carry out the order.
At this moment, Hua Twelve revealed himself, and Nezha was delighted to see him:
"Why are you so late? There's a fight going on inside! Hurry up and get going!"
Hua Shier laughed and said, "Why are you in such a hurry? That monkey has been burned for forty-nine days. It needs to vent its anger. Besides, if the monkey doesn't really fight back and use its skills, the two of us can really take advantage of the chaos!"
Nezha thought for a moment and immediately laughed, "Indeed, indeed!"
Hua Shier used his Seventy-Two Transformations to become a young general in silver armor, wielding the Yin and Yang swords, surrounded by immortal energy. His appearance was flawless. Only then did the two enter the South Heavenly Gate and head towards the Lingxiao Palace.
When the two stepped into the Lingxiao Palace, they saw a chaotic killing field.
Golden rays of light roll like red rainbows, and auspicious clouds spray purple mist.
The ten-thousand-foot jade steps in front of the Lingxiao Palace are no longer a sacred place for immortals, but have become a battlefield of gods and demons.
Sun Wukong was refined in Laozi's Eight Trigrams Furnace for forty-nine days. Instead of turning to ashes, he used the Samadhi Fire to forge the peaches, imperial wine, and elixirs he had stolen into one piece, thus cultivating an indestructible body and developing a pair of fiery eyes!
At this moment, the monkey became ferocious. With a shake of its body, its hairs transformed into hundreds of small monkeys, each wielding an iron rod, and they fought fiercely against the gods in the sky.
But see that:
Smoke and dust rose before the Lingxiao Palace, and the Great Sage Equaling Heaven displayed his supernatural powers.
The fire-breathing furnace refines the flames; a single iron rod battles against a multitude of heroes.
With a single hair plucked, countless monkeys would rise up, causing chaos and turmoil in the heavens.
With three heads and six arms, it displays transformations; its divine form and earthly manifestation reveal its ferocity.
On the other side, the Pagoda-Bearing Heavenly King wielded his treasured sword, while the Four Heavenly Kings each displayed their prowess.
The Heavenly King of Growth wields the Azure Cloud Sword; the Heavenly King of Abundant Hearing wields the Jade Zither; the Heavenly King of Wide Vision wields the Primordial Umbrella; and the Heavenly King of Holding the Nation wields the Double Maces.
The Twenty-Eight Mansions are arrayed in a star formation, and the Nine Luminaries tread the Dipper. Wang Lingguan raises his golden whip to greet them, and You Sheng Zhenjun dances with divine weapons. The Thirty-Six Thunder Generals shout in unison, their swords, spears, and halberds forming a dense forest.
This is a good slaughter!
Hua Shier gave Nezha a wink, and the latter stepped on his Wind Fire Wheels and charged into the battle.
With a flurry of thrusts of his spear, he knocked down several of the Monkey King's clones, then charged straight to Li Jing's side, shouting:
"Father, let me help you!"
Li Jing was surrounded by seven or eight monkey kings. He was struggling to break free, and although he wielded his precious sword with great force, he still could not escape.
Turning around at the sound, he saw it was Nezha. Instead of being pleased, he was filled with rage and cursed:
"You beast! Why did you only arrive now!"
A fierce glint flashed in Nezha's eyes, but he suppressed it.
He leaned closer to Li Jing and lowered his voice, saying, "Father, that demon monkey is incredibly powerful, but his clones might not be so formidable. Why not use the pagoda to suppress him?"
Li Jing, upon hearing this, also felt it made sense. If they could deal with these clones, with so many immortals working together, they wouldn't be afraid of failing to subdue the mischievous monkey. He immediately said:
You're right!
Without thinking twice, he tossed the pagoda into the air.
The exquisite pagoda spun in the air, growing larger with the wind, and in an instant transformed into a seven-story golden pagoda. The pagoda radiated countless golden rays, and Buddhist chants resounded through the sky. The dark entrance at the bottom of the pagoda was aimed at the true form of Sun Wukong, who was engaged in fierce battle, and an extremely strong suction force enveloped him.
No sooner said than done.
Just as the pagoda was shining brightly and about to suppress the attack, a figure in silver armor shot out from the side.
The figure arrived extremely abruptly, as if it had anticipated the timing of the pagoda's release. Just before the golden light enveloped Sun Wukong, it grabbed the seven-story pagoda and carried it on its shoulder, then ran away!
The Buddha's light on the exquisite pagoda has the effect of suppressing all demons and monsters. If ordinary immortals and gods dare to touch it, they will be injured by the golden light.
But the silver-armored young general, carrying the pagoda, was completely unharmed, as if the holy light of Buddhism, powerful enough to suppress all evil, was nothing more than ordinary lamplight to him.
Li Jing was greatly alarmed and shouted angrily, "Who are you, you rat!"
He repeatedly activated his magic, trying to retrieve the pagoda, but the silver-armored general was already holding the pagoda, his figure as fast as lightning, running faster than flying, and disappeared into the dust and smoke in the direction of the South Heavenly Gate in a few flashes.
They came like ghosts and left like startled swans, their entire journey taking only a breath.
Li Jing stood frozen in place, still holding the tower-throwing posture in his hand, his expression shifting from fury to bewilderment, and then from bewilderment to deathly pale.
The pagoda is gone!!!
At that moment, Li Jing felt a chill run down his spine. He stiffly turned his head and met Nezha's gaze.
The fierce look on the young man's face had faded, replaced by a very faint smile.
Nezha tilted his head and said something in a voice that only the two of them could hear.
Others couldn't hear these words, but Li Jing heard them clearly; each word was like a knife, cutting into his heart.
"Father, where is your tower?"
