Chapter 124 The Enticement Failed
Lance quietly parted the bushes in front of him and carefully peeked out.

In the middle of the dense forest, in a small patch of grass, six snow-white horses with bluish manes were leisurely snorting and grazing on the grass.

“Sir, I have some here.” A Lordaeron ranger handed over a roll of hemp rope.

"Snap, snap, snap!" Lance took the rope, gripped both ends, and tugged a few times, causing the taut rope to crackle and snap.

Lance unfurled the rope, straightened it, and tied a slipknot, clearly intending to lasso the horse. To be fair, the Gale Pegasus wasn't particularly strong; otherwise, Lance wouldn't have taken such a dangerous step. A moment later, the soldier returned the way he came and whispered to Lance, "Sir, everyone is ready!"

"Alright! Get ready to tell them about Operation Sound Arrow!" Lance stared intently at the leisurely Pegasus in front of him.

"Screech!" A piercing whistling sound echoed throughout the jungle.

"Go!" Lance leaped out of the bushes, taking the lead, and the lasso in his hand began to spin.

"Hiss!" The Swift Wind Pegasus looked at the humans emerging from the jungle with some confusion and paused for a moment. Then they immediately reacted. They neighed and thrashed about, their blue aura around them indicating that they had activated their innate skill - Wind Walk (which greatly increases their running and flying speed).

"Throw the rope!" Lance's eyes narrowed. He had been careless; he hadn't expected these Swiftwind Pegasus to be so fast...

"Whoo~"

"Whoosh~whoosh!" Dozens of ropes of varying sizes were thrown out by the rangers of Lordaeron, and streaks of light swept across the sky at great speed.

"Shooting out like lightning!"

"Vertical and horizontal!"

"Swing through the air!"

One skill after another was unleashed by the Rangers of Lordaeron, and the distance between them and the Swift Pegasus was rapidly closing.
