Chapter 333 Hollin Falls From the Sky

Chapter 333 Hollin Falls From the Sky

“Alright then!” Caslo nodded, indicating that he could give it a try.

"Yes, thank you for your help!" Roland said.

“Then I’ll have to stay here…” Caslo said with difficulty.

“It’s okay, and don’t you want to stay here?” Roland gestured toward Ajax and then blinked.

“Uh…” Caslo’s face turned visibly red.

"Be more outgoing! What's there to be ashamed of, a real man?" Roland made no mention of how he first fell for Nyx.

"And this batch of Sky Knights is also prepared for you. After all, you two Dragon Knights can't do everything yourself, right? Do you want these little brothers?" Roland teased with a smile.

"I guarantee I'll complete the mission!" Caslo's eyes lit up instantly, and he straightened his chest resolutely.

“Alright, you lead the training first. I’ll send Omsk to cover for Renault for a while.” Roland’s answer relieved Caslo’s worries.

“But we can’t train them yet, the saddles for these griffins aren’t complete yet!” Caslo said to Roland after circling around twice.

"Go discuss this with Yun Feng, he'll prepare it!" Roland directly handed these over to his logistics chief, His Majesty Yun Feng.

"His Majesty Yunfeng will come after you to the death..." Caslo couldn't help but twitch his lips as he looked at Roland, who was trying to shift the blame.

Yunfeng now assists Roland with government affairs and oversees the manufacture of all magical equipment in the kingdom. The griffin saddle certainly couldn't be made of ordinary leather; it had to be a magical saddle, along with a series of auxiliary equipment—all of which required Yunfeng's personal involvement.

One can only imagine the expression on His Majesty Yunfeng's face when he returned exhausted from a day of government affairs and saw the huge amount of work that his beloved King had assigned him.

……

"Your Highness, just kill me!" Roland, who had just fallen asleep that night, was forcibly "dragged" out of bed by the guards and brought to the reception room to meet the resentful wise man, Yunfeng.

"Hehehe, the capable should do more work, the capable should do more work..." Roland said with a smile.

“Am I livestock? Why don’t you go and see if the oxen used for plowing in Gondor would dare to use them like this?” Yunfeng’s eyes were blazing as he slumped wearily on the sofa.

“…There’s nothing we can do. You’re the only one here who can make these things! The others don’t know how to craft magical equipment! We can’t just have them tied to a rope and fly into the sky to fight, can we?” Roland explained.

"Crunch..." Roland clearly heard Yun Feng grit his teeth. Roland had hit Yun Feng's sore spot. This was something that only he could do alone.

"I'll leave the administrative matters to you! I'll take care of the equipment!" Yun Feng stood up and said in an irrefutable tone.

"No problem!" Roland quickly agreed. If Yun Feng were to try to control both sides at this point, Roland had no doubt that Yun Feng would cast a spell on his face and melt him away!
"How about this, we hand over the administrative affairs to Lance and let him take over these for now! Let Marcus oversee the construction of Delwin Village, what do you think?" Roland asked Yunfeng for his opinion.

"I don't care, as long as I don't have to deal with those trivial matters!" Yun Feng glanced at Roland.

“Then it’s settled! I will sign the decree tomorrow to inform you!” Roland nodded to Yunfeng.

"Have a nice night's rest!" Yun Feng said curtly, then stood up and walked outside.

"Cough cough! Your Highness, you're being too cruel... You can't even treat livestock like this..." Nyx had somehow managed to peek her pretty head out from the door frame.

Seeing Nyx's reproach, Roland gave a helpless wry smile. He was just an ordinary student in modern times, and he truly didn't understand things like governing a country. Besides, few of his subordinates possessed the talent for governance. After all, in the context of Middle-earth, only nobles could enjoy such education, and his forces lacked these nobles with inherited traditions. "Let Lance handle it for now. I'll review it after he finishes reviewing it; that way, there shouldn't be any mistakes!" Nyx said, wrapping her arms around Roland's neck from behind.

"Mmm..." Roland felt the amazing softness behind his head and couldn't help but rub it.

"You bad boy! You just like to bully me!" Nyx said coquettishly, her eyes sparkling with desire.

"Ah! You charming little vixen! I will execute you on the spot as a warning!" Roland picked up Nyx's incredibly soft and delicate body in a princess carry and walked into the house.

A night of endless spring rain, the jade pot gleaming with the light of dancing fish and dragons, finally the wind and rain subsided and tranquility returned...

……

Two days later.

"Damn it!" Yun Feng led a group of people over carrying several large boxes.

"Boom!" Several large boxes were thrown down.

"Sign here! Five griffin saddles, five air knight lances, and fifty air javelins!" Yun Feng, with dark circles under his eyes, handed over a list.

"Okay, you should go back and rest now!" Caslo quickly signed his name.

"Alright... you go ahead and do your own thing!" Yun Feng waved and left.

……

“Let’s go! Let’s see how those griffin riders are training!” Roland said, putting his arm around his beloved Grand Duke Nyx.

“Hmm, I’ve never touched a griffin before!” Nyx immediately showed her heart. Sure enough, most girls have no resistance to such a big, furry creature. After all, who can resist a majestic and furry griffin?
"Come on! Husband, I'll take you to see it!" Roland said with great enthusiasm, waving his hand.

……

"Caslo! Assemble the troops!" Roland's voice preceded his arrival as he shouted to his dragon rider general.

"Thump!" Suddenly the sky darkened, and then an indescribable object fell from the sky, rolling a few times after landing.

"Holy crap? What is this?" Roland was startled. If he wasn't mistaken, it should be... a person, right?
"Are you alright?" Nyx had already strode over to him.

"Waaah... Your Highness... I'm alright!" the fallen knight said to Nyx, still dazed.

"What happened, Hollin? How did you fall from the sky?" Nyx asked with concern as he helped Hollin up.

Hollin's griffin had already landed. It quietly walked behind Hollin and rubbed against his knight with a pitiful expression. It probably realized that it had caused trouble. As a mount, it had actually thrown its knight away. This was a big taboo!
"Someone just yelled, and my griffin got startled. It's still young, but it reacted immediately and started moving. I didn't have time to react and was thrown off..." Hollin said helplessly, rubbing his head.

"Look at you!" Nyx glared at Roland, her eyes full of resentment. After all, as the Grand Duchy of Nyx, these knights had once been among her most loyal followers.

"My fault, my fault..." Roland quickly put on a smiling face.

"Your Highness!" Caslo landed, his eyes full of resentment. This time he was lucky; the griffin wasn't too high off the ground. If it had been higher, Roland could have directly announced that one of his knights had been killed, and it was a non-combat casualty. He would have been utterly humiliated.
