The Lord of the Rings: Lords of Middle-earth.

Chapter 554 Charge! Charge! Charge!

"The dragon riders are here! Charge!" Lavian immediately rallied his soldiers. He now understood why Hollin had said he would understand the general attack signal... damn it! How could a dragon rider charging down from the sky not understand?

"Centaur! Charge!" Baldr's battle aura surged, and the centaurs activated their innate skill—Shared Fate! This was a group damage-absorbing skill, just like the Knights, and it was because of this skill that the centaurs were able to thrive in the far north.

The Kadan cavalry under Whitewing King's command also quickly spurred their warhorses into motion, while Whitewing and Ruhr exchanged a glance and then slowed down. The integrated infantry formed a square formation and began to press towards the orcs, their heavy and powerful movements being their hallmark!
Compared to speed infantry, which emphasizes teamwork and coordinated combat, their shields and spears are just as lethal as charging cavalry when in formation (of course, don't even compare them to knights, they're just overpowered). Moreover, compared to the terrifying pressure of a dark mass of knights or cavalry charging forward, the uniform steps and heavy gait of the infantry are even more awe-inspiring. After all, the mental torment of facing death is different from waiting to die!

……

“Baron! Is this really the right thing to do?” A royal guard looked at Lance, who was donning his armor, and glanced worriedly at the city wall, where the great King Roland was watching the battlefield ahead.

"?!" Lance's forehead twitched. Who am I supposed to ask? Wasn't the order to attack given by His Highness? So it's like I'm leading you all astray... You can't say that, it'll make you play a nine-generation puzzle game.

Yes, the benevolent King Roland, on a whim, decided to send his guards to the battlefield. Lance, being a warrior, was best suited to lead the troops, and thus Roland bestowed upon him this glorious task! Roland felt the battlefield lacked decisive infantry; ordinary infantry struggled to quickly break through the orc formations. The guards, however, were different—these royal guards were the finest soldiers in Middle-earth! Lacking the decisive weapon of the Knights, Roland could only tearfully pull out his "horseless, bankrupt" Knights as the backbone.

"Take care of yourselves! Kill the orcs quickly! Don't get entangled with them! Kill them all! Kill them all again! Leave the slaughter to the White Wing King and the Ruhr Alliance! Understand?" Lance shouted as he put on his full-face iron helmet.

"Understood!" the guards in the can replied in muffled voices.

……

Let's rewind to the moment of Caslow's raid.

"Boom!" A massive dragon force roared down, and an obscure dragon language magic quietly took shape at the point of impact.

"Tear!" A suddenly twisted wind-elemental dragon force tornado emerged from the ground, expanding its kill radius by hundreds of meters in just a few blinks! Nearly a thousand orcs were torn to shreds by the wind blades in this short time!
Only two gray-black magic shields remained standing strong throughout the entire dragon language magic.

"Huh? Pretty stubborn, Caslo exclaimed in surprise. After all, there aren't many creatures that can withstand this Azure Flame Tornado spell; its strength is second only to forbidden spells. (Don't ask why he didn't use a forbidden spell; dragon knights' forbidden spells have very long casting animations, and they might end up casting a spell on themselves instead of casting a spell! So Caslo chose dragon language magic, which is fast and highly concealed!)

"Something's not right!" Caslo shook his head, pulled on the dragon saddle, and prepared to go down and finish off the enemy.

"Those are two liches!" Kaldor had no interest in playing along with his brain-dead knight; if things went wrong, he could really lose his life!

"So bad? Lich, Ringwraith, and Orc?" Caslo's lips twitched. Roland had really stacked up all the buffs this time, hadn't he? Had he finally collected the Dark Trio in one go?

"Stop joking! I see three groups of soldiers!" Kaldo diligently provided information to Caslo. "Let me see?" Caslo immediately shared his view with Kaldo, and soon Caslo saw the Lavian Badr's troops slowly crawling below, as well as the two wriggling groups of Lance and White Wing.

"Excellent, cooperate with them! Let's take down these bastards!" Caslo excitedly raised his dragon spear.

"Watch out for the Ringwraiths! My knight! Uvasar is no simpler than Angmar! Underestimating it will cost you dearly!" Kaldor warned Caslo, hoping he wouldn't underestimate his opponent, lest things get messy and he end up opening champagne halfway through the match.

"Don't worry!" Caslo nodded emphatically, after all, Uvasa, the sixth oldest in the space system, still needed to be kept in close attention.

“Hmm?”×2.

"My magic has been banished!" Kaldor said solemnly, while increasing his speed by two points, leaving a trail of afterimages in the air!

"Uvasa made a move?" Caslo stared wide-eyed at the spot where the dragon language magic had just been released. The spatial power was insane! A pseudo-forbidden spell could be banished into the void? Are you kidding me?!
……

"Wind-type Dragon Knight!" Uvasa, hidden in the spatial rift, murmured gravely. He never expected the Dragon Knight, who had been held back, to actually appear. However, Uvasa quickly shook his head. Relying on the other Ringwraiths to hold off the Dragon Knight was unrealistic; the initiative lay in the Dragon Knight's hands. Whether to fight or retreat was entirely up to him. It had been quite a struggle for them to delay the Dragon Knight's return.

"Tsk! Riding a dragon is nothing special?" Uvasa's hoarse, deep voice echoed in the void. Damn it! Dragon Riders are just different! He starts with a pseudo-forbidden spell, so riding a dragon is awesome, huh? I'm telling you, don't give me that whine! You think I'm afraid of you just because you're a Dragon Rider?

"Cough cough! Dragon riders are really not to be trifled with..." Uvasa ultimately chose to lie low. After all, dragon riders can be shameless when they want to be, and spatial abilities can't banish all skills. You have to know that some dragon skills are guaranteed to hit when they're released!
Uvasa understood his predicament. He was there to stall for time, as long as possible. Orcs? Weren't they just materials? There were plenty! What did their lives or deaths have to do with him, the Ringwraith? Having figured this out, Uvasa transformed into a turtle, shrinking into the spatial rift and remaining motionless, essentially playing dead. Caslo was completely baffled. How could he punish this bastard if he didn't show himself? This thing was feigning death, not truly dead! Caslo wasn't so carefree as to ignore the Ringwraiths' existence and come down to "reap fries."

……

"kill!"

Soon, Lavian and Baldr's forces were the first to engage the orcs, but Baldr's next move stunned both the orcs and their allies, who were on high alert.

"Centaur warriors! Children of the steppes! Charge!" Badr grinned, his large, gleaming teeth appearing so sinister and terrifying in the eyes of the orcs...

My parents were discharged from the hospital today, and I only had one watch.
