Chapter 686 Goblin Knight!
"Damn it! Can anyone tell me how these bastards got here?" Ismir gritted his teeth, staring at the scene before him, his mind racing with utter rage!
Because what appeared before them were neither orcs nor earth dragons, but a group of wandering low-level magical beasts, the Tutu Boars! Although these wild boars, which were about two meters tall, were not large, no one dared to underestimate them. These wild boars were genuine magical beasts, and more importantly, they lived in groups!

"Oink oink oink!" The grunts of pigs echoed outside Windhelm, and groups of wild boars emerged from the darkness, making Ismir want to kill them all.

"A tug-tug pig? How did this thing appear?" Ymir climbed the wall and looked into the distance. When she saw what it was, she was instantly surprised.

"Do you know these beasts?" Ismir asked, turning to Ymir.

“Of course! How could I not know the famous Tutu Boar?” Ymir nodded in surprise. He was quite surprised that Ismir didn’t recognize these magical beasts.

"What's so special about them?" Ismir frowned as he listened to the pigs grunting.

"Let's wait and see, and observe whether it's as I think!" Ymir shook his head, not in a hurry to answer Ismir's question.

"?" Ismir's eye twitched. "Get the Riddler out of Windhelm!"

"Whoosh~" Suddenly, a faint whistling sound came from the wind, and the pigs began to move slowly into the darkness as if they had received some kind of command, as if they knew that there was a human settlement ahead and were trying to avoid it.

"Hmm? They retreated?" Ismir raised an eyebrow; it seemed they were safe and sound.

“Let’s go! The two of us will catch up! If nothing unexpected happens, we’ll be rich!” Ymir suddenly laughed.

"Thud!" Ymir, fully armed, vaulted over the wall and jumped down with a dull thud, and Ismir felt the entire wall tremble.

"Wait for me!" Ismir exclaimed, seeing Ymir jump out, and quickly followed suit, waving his arms and legs.

"You stay here! Don't come any closer!" Ismir had time to turn back and tell the soldiers who had gathered behind him to stay and guard the stronghold. They wouldn't be of much help anyway. That group of monsters could easily cut them down. Apart from Ismir and Ymir, who were able to protect themselves, they really couldn't protect the others.

"Whoosh! Doo!" Ymir casually grabbed a branch about the thickness of an egg, stripped off the twigs, and ignited it with his fire-type battle aura. Then, with a sudden swing of his arm, a fiery meteor streaked across the night sky and slammed into a tree trunk at the edge of the forest! The blazing battle aura illuminated the figure before him.

"This is Lord Ismir's legitimate territory in the Kingdom of Lagrang! Do you think you can come and go as you please?" Ymir swung her Blood Mist Sword, the sharp greatsword whistling through the air and embedding itself in the distant open ground. The next second, with a flash of the Blood Mist Set, Ymir appeared where the greatsword had landed! It was clearly the skill effect of the Blood Mist Set!
"Hmph, hmph!" A series of humming sounds came from the darkness, and as figures emerged from the shadows, Ymir's face beneath his iron helmet revealed an expression of "I knew it!"

In the light of the branch ignited by the flames of battle, figures magnified in Ymir's pupils... "A well-organized cavalry unit!" Ismir's hands and feet turned cold upon seeing the shadows illuminated by the firelight! It was clear that a group of cavalry was not someone they could mess with (Ismir had underestimated Ymir's fighting strength). At this moment, Ismir felt like he wanted to die. Why did they have to chase after us for no reason? Just now it was a group of magical beasts and wild boars! Now it's a bunch of cavalry! Ismir was almost going crazy, but he couldn't ignore Ymir, so he had to bite the bullet and charge forward.

……

"Let's break through..." Ismir rushed behind Ymir and grabbed him, just about to speak up and break through, but his eyes inadvertently glanced at the cavalrymen facing Ymir and he froze instantly.

“These are not cavalry, my lord!” Ymir slowly shook his head, his voice slightly serious.

"I need an explanation!" Ymir said calmly to the figure in front of her, without any aggression or emotion.

"This is...this is..." Ismir's pupils dilated in shock, as he was unable to describe what he was seeing.

“Isn’t it amazing? The miracle of the neutral races of Middle-earth—the barbarian goblin knights!” Ymir smiled.

What appeared before Ismir was a group of green goblins riding wild boars, wielding stone and bone spears, and dressed in leather! Their boars perfectly suited their low-slender figures, but Ismir surprisingly didn't smell anything unusual about them. After all, goblins, like orcs, could be used as biological weapons...

"How could this be? This..." Ismir felt his mind go blank! The goblins before him were completely different species from the goblins he remembered! The goblins he knew had grayish-white skin, weak limbs, and almost zero combat power. But the goblins before him were pale green, strong and powerful. Although their height of about 1.2 meters looked quite small, and their weapons were simple, no one would doubt their lethality. Plus, they were riding magical beast mounts, making them look like a menacing force.

"Humans! We meant no offense. We keep to ourselves and all races. We apologize for trespassing into your territory. Please let us leave in peace. We would be eternally grateful!" An old goblin wearing a feathered crown and holding a withered wooden staff rode a tuk-tuk slowly over. The goblin knights along the way made way for him, clearly indicating that this old goblin was of high status!

"A goblin prophet!" Ymir's pupils constricted as he looked at the old goblin whose face was covered in runes. This was serious! A wild goblin tribe with a goblin prophet was not something the two of them could easily fool. He had initially suspected these boars were herded by humans and assumed they were wild goblin livestock, intending to use his strength to extort some money for his lord… but he hadn't expected to unearth such a big fish…

"Your Excellency is very insightful. In that case, shall we both leave peacefully?" The old goblin's voice was extremely gentle, as if he were talking to an old friend.

"I have no intention of causing trouble, but I'm afraid your actions are inappropriate. Although humans are not at war with the barbaric goblins, your army has trespassed into the territory of the human kingdom. Even if we kill you all here, we will not have done anything wrong!" Ymir frowned, his face hidden by his visor, but he still spoke defiantly. After all, he inherited the glory of the empire! The brilliance of the Senate Guard! How could he bow down to a foreign race?
"I apologize, Your Excellency, and Lord, although we had no intention of leading our tribe into this place, we have not caused you any losses. Perhaps we should each go our own way?" The old goblin raised his eyelids and glanced at the faintly visible human town in the distance. His lips twitched helplessly, after all, he was in the wrong.

“We need an explanation!” Ymir said calmly, shielding Ismir behind him.

"Does Your Excellency intend for us to fight to the death?" The old goblin frowned as he looked at the persistent Ymir.
