Chapter 701 The Wrath of the Stars!

Chapter 701 The Wrath of the Stars!
"But what does this have to do with us? Those orcs are scouting the human kingdom and now they're scouting the elven kingdom?" Iovia's words made Peter Gro's smile vanish.

So, the Kingdom of Lagrang is showing off in public while Singrey is getting beaten up behind the scenes? No, we also have to add the Kingdom of Akvia. After all, the White Wing King's Northern Cavalry has already gone deep into the forest and is playing hide-and-seek with the Orc Wolf Riders. Although the limited number of Orc Wolf Riders cannot cause much damage to the two kingdoms, they can affect the security environment of the two kingdoms. The minor casualties caused by the elusive Orc Wolf Riders are far less than the psychological pressure they bring to the two kingdoms!

"This can't go on! We have to cut off these claws!" Iovia roared. Although Singrey possessed a powerful barrier protecting the Star Elves hidden within, the orcs' rampage still posed a threat to the elven people traveling outside! Iovia was leading the Star Elves into seclusion, but that didn't mean he was taking them to their graves! Even a clay figure has some temper, let alone these Star Elves who once single-handedly attacked the Black Gate?

“As you wish! What do you want to do?” Peter Groh said with utmost respect, his hand on his chest and head bowed, for Iovia was now issuing orders as the Elf King!
"Find them! Kill them! Eradicate them completely!" Iovia said coldly, her eyes icy and her voice chilling, as she gripped the longbow left by her father.

"Just us? Don't we need to contact the rest of the coalition forces?" Peter Groh asked, turning back in confusion as he was about to leave.

"As you said, the orcs have established strongholds around us, beyond the reach of others! Besides, what are these mere orc strongholds? We can handle them ourselves!" Iovia snorted coldly. Clearly, the experience of nearly dying in Dolgoth still left Iovia resentful. If it weren't for those Ringwraiths' sneak attack, Iovia believed that no Ringwraith could have stopped him due to his spatial movement ability with the power of the stars!

Now Iovia wants to prove to everyone that the Star Elves are still formidable, not that the Star Elves of a thousand years later have become pushovers, and that everyone treats them like gummy bears to be squeezed.
"We need to be quick. This time, we'll send out superior forces to cut off their communications and then annihilate the entire stronghold! A swift victory is crucial! I don't want to attract any unforeseen complications from the Ringwraiths!" Iovia instructed Peter Gros.

"So how many troops should we send?" Peter Gro looked up at Iovia. After all, the entire Star Elf Kingdom only had about three thousand soldiers. Fighting these three thousand soldiers was practically the lifeblood of the Singrey Kingdom. If they were all wiped out, the Star Elves would basically be exterminated.

"Just like the last great battle! Send two thousand men!" Iovia said firmly. Although reducing the number of men would still achieve the desired results, it would inevitably bring some unnecessary casualties that no one wanted to see.

"This time, the archers don't need to go into battle; the rangers and swordsmen will suffice!" Iovia thought for a moment and gave Peter Gro the final order.

“Understood! When do we set off?” Peter Groh nodded.

"The sooner the better! I can no longer tolerate these filthy creatures polluting my land!" Iovia's face was grim. These passing orc wolf riders didn't care about anything; they would slaughter any creature that appeared before them. The unexpected casualties of her people were the last straw that broke Iovia's sanity! The Star Elves never let revenge linger!

“Yes, Your Highness. Our army will need at least a day to assemble! You will see a complete legion by tomorrow morning!” Peter Gross told Iovia truthfully after silently calculating for a moment.

"I hope so!" Iovia forced a smile; all he wanted now was to crush those damned orcs as quickly as possible. Every day they lingered in his territory, his people faced increasing danger. ...

"Your Highness! The two thousand soldiers have assembled. You may begin your sermon!" Peter Gross said to Iovia after gracefully bowing with his hand on his chest upon entering the hall.

"Let's go!" Iovia excitedly grabbed the longbow and went out.

As Iovia quickly stepped out of the palace, she saw the elven soldiers lined up neatly in front of it. Gazing at their calm and resolute faces, her thoughts drifted back to the final alliance war three thousand years ago... These soldiers had crawled out of the piles of corpses in that fierce battle!

"We have lived here for ages! We are content with our lot! We only wish for a peaceful life, but! There are always those who want to tear apart our dreams and shatter our hopes! The claws of darkness have once again reached out to us... We cannot back down! We must cut them down! For Singari! For the stars! For our people!" Iovia roared, raising her longbow, her powerful voice reigniting the calmed passion in all the elves! They loved peace, but they were not afraid of war!

……

"Pfft!" A spray of hot blood splattered onto a nearby branch. An elven ranger, hanging upside down from a treetop, flipped over and slashed the orc scout's neck with his blade. Then, he released his grip on the branch, and his scimitar fell naturally, plunging into the skull of the dire wolf beneath the orc. The hard dire wolf skull was now as smooth as tofu as the sharp elven scimitar penetrated completely. The man and the wolf twitched weakly a few times before falling still...

This scene unfolded repeatedly in the dark, gloomy forest, with orc cavalrymen being assassinated by approaching elven rangers. Although they were not assassins, assassinating the unsuspecting orcs was no more difficult than it was for professional assassins!
Soon, the number of surviving orc scouts began to plummet! Many orc wolf riders were shot dead shortly after leaving the stronghold, others were killed by elven rangers on their way back, and some elven swordsmen even ambushed them from the treetops, swooping down to slaughter them. In an instant, the entire orc stronghold quickly lost contact with its surroundings, becoming deaf and blind! The orcs inside the stronghold were unaware of all this; they had become an isolated island! It would take Dolgodor a long time to realize what was wrong, as there were no survivors left to report back to him…

……

"Ready, Your Highness!" Peter Groh said to Iovia, gripping his longbow. He had just personally hunted down the orc wolf riders who were some distance away. Hiding in the dense forest from dragon riders flying in the sky was simply ridiculous; in Peter Groh's eyes, they were no more than targets!

“It’s time to let them hear our voice! They haven’t felt our wrath in too long!” Iovia narrowed her eyes.
