Chapter 733: Windhelm Town Crisis

Chapter 733: Windhelm Town Crisis

"We just killed two Orc spies!" The Goblin Knight stretched out his hand and made a gesture of invitation. It was obvious that they dragged the bodies of the Orcs back.

"Let me see!" Ismir was stunned, then pushed open the wooden door that was better than nothing and walked out.

"Sir, you are here, please come and take a look at this corpse!" Ymir squatted on the ground and fiddled with the smelly corpse in front of her.

After taking a look, Ismir noticed the horrible through-wound on the body of the Orc. The Goblin Knight who was charging at high speed had stabbed him through with a spear. However, this was not the focus of Ismir's attention. His eyes were focused on the armor on the body. Judging from the part where the armor was penetrated, the armor was at least three or four millimeters thick. This level of armament was not something that ordinary Orcs could afford! It was obvious that this Orc scout was an elite force of the Orcs!

"Dol Guldur!" Ismir stood up suddenly and looked at the dark forest in the distance of Windhelm. He felt mixed emotions. After all, the orcs had noticed his tiny territory. It seemed that they had discovered him.

"Elite Orc infantry! They have noticed us!" A trace of solemnity flashed in Ymir's eyes.

"It looks like an Orc force is coming. We can't defeat them! Let's ask for help!" Of course, Ismir wouldn't be so stubborn as to fight a regular Orc army by himself. With only less than 200 people under his command... that would be quite a blow.

"Light the beacon! Tell Lulong Fortress that we are in trouble!" Ymir nodded to the guardian of nature beside her.

"Ring the alarm! Assemble the militia!" Ismir ordered. Although Windhelm's regular army consisted of only a small team of nature guardians and a goblin knight with a corner flag, Ismir still selected twenty sturdy adult men from the pioneers and Mirkwood survivors he brought with him to form a militia. Although the combat effectiveness of these militiamen holding spears, holding leather shields and wearing cloth clothes was touching, they were brave and daring, and could still be used to plug gaps.

As the simple beacon tower in the center of Fengkui Town was lit, thick black smoke rose into the sky. The rising column of smoke was instantly discovered by the Lulong Fortress on the opposite bank.

"Doss! The beacon tower on the opposite side has been lit! Let's go and take a look!" Renault summoned Anthony Doss, the dragon knight stationed at the Lulong Fortress.

……

"What happened, sir? Why did you light the beacon?" Soon, Anthony Doss, who was stationed at the Lulong Fortress, swooped down on his Renoir and landed steadily on the open space in Windhelm Town.

"General Doss, please look!" Ishmir didn't say anything, but took Doss directly to the corpse. Ishmir didn't expect that it was Anthony Doss himself. He originally thought that a dragon rider would come, but the dragon rider himself made Ishmir flattered. "Elite Orcs? Where did you catch them?" Anthony Doss was immediately attracted after just a glance. After all, there was no large Orc tribe nearby. Everyone could guess where this fully armed Orc came from with the soles of their shoes, so Anthony Doss immediately became alert.

"The Goblin Knights under my command accidentally encountered them while on hunting patrol! There were two people, and both were killed by the Goblin Knights!" Ismir introduced.

"Damn it! There is no clan information. There is too little information on them! Apart from the standard armor of the regular orc army, there is no other physical evidence to indicate the clan's identity!" Anthony Doss was a little distressed.

Little did they know that this was all Khamul's conspiracy. When they discovered this human town, they were very happy for a long time. This meant that their plan would be carried out more smoothly. After all, if the battlefield was held outside the Lulong Fortress, they would still have to worry about the ambush from the Falling Dragon Tower. However, if the battlefield was moved to the other side of the Rapid River, there would naturally be no such concerns. The dragon knights who lost the protection of the fortress would become their vulnerable targets. Khamul even wanted to plot against one of Kaslo or Anthony Doss. There was nothing in the Dark Forest that could provide them with shelter, and being shot by black arrows was their only fate!

In order to ensure the success of this plan, Khamul forced the wandering orcs to send a small team to the human territory to lure the Kingdom of Raglan. In order to prevent humans from being unable to defeat these orcs, Khamul took great pains to disperse these orcs. Even a few farmers could pick up these lone orcs in the wilderness with dung forks.

It was now obvious that the interest of the human kingdom had been aroused by him. Of course, Khamul had a backup plan. If this could attract a human quasi-dragon knight, that would be even better. But if that quasi-dragon knight could not come out, Khamul would expose this "elite" of orcs and make a swaggering siege and attack on the human town. Khamul really didn't believe that those humans would not be tempted by these moving experience packs. Ever since the end of the Battle of Lonely Mountain, the Battle of Five Armies and the Melee in the North, there had not been many wandering orcs in the entire North, so naturally, Vess had no one to practice with.

……

"Your Lordship, please wait a moment. I will go back now to report the situation to General Renault!" Anthony Doss naturally understood the urgency of the matter. The appearance of a fully armed army of Orcs around their territory was bound to make everyone nervous. No one dared to ignore a fully armed regular army of Orcs hanging around them.

"Trouble!" Ismir said with a smile.

Anthony Doss did not exchange pleasantries with Ismir and the others. He just nodded and flew up into the sky with his dragon and disappeared into the clouds.

……

"What's going on? Why did Windhelm light the beacon? Is there a fire?" Raynor asked curiously. After all, there was nothing around here that could overthrow the existence of Windhelm. Powerful monsters had the ability to do so, but powerful monsters would not appear outside the Dark Forest. Even in the Rapids River behind Windhelm, there were no super monsters. After all, the sea that gave birth to countless super monsters was not connected to the Rapids River. After all, the Rapids River was not connected to the sea like the Anduin River. The only Rune Inland Sea could not breed many super monsters, not to mention that no super monster would go upstream to the upper reaches of the Rapids River. The cramped space here could only suppress them.

"No! It's a fully armed regular army of Orcs! They hunted down a team of scouts! I checked carefully, and it's the equipment of the regular army of Orcs! They are most likely Orc soldiers from Dol Guldur!" Anthony Doss organized his words and spoke carefully.
