Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva looked at Xuanzang and said, "The journey to the west to learn the scriptures is difficult and dangerous. I hope you can maintain your original heart, overcome many difficulties, and obtain the Mahayana scriptures in an instant!"

What's even more strange is that no one noticed it. You must know that there are Dharma protectors such as Jialan and Liuding Liujia around Xuanzang, which shows that this matter is not simple.

With this in mind, a group of Dharma protectors will attack at the same time, smash the carrion into pieces, and after covering it up, they will report the matter to the heavenly court and the Buddhist sect.

However, neither the Jade Emperor Tianzun of the Heavenly Court nor the Tathagata Buddha of Buddhism could figure out the origin of the rotting corpse, and a haze could not help but grow in his heart.

The next day, Xuanzang, who was unaware of the danger last night, headed towards Liangjie Mountain under the leadership of Liu Boqin.

At this moment, an erratic voice suddenly came from a distance: "Haha, the master is here, my old grandson can finally get out of trouble!"

Although the voice was erratic, it could be heard clearly. Xuanzang couldn't help being a little terrified when he heard the words, and almost fell to the ground in fright.

Seeing this, Liu Boqin hurriedly supported Xuanzang, and explained with a smile: "Elder, don't be afraid, this must be the cry of a monkey in the mountain. This mountain used to be called Wuxing Mountain, but it was renamed Liangjie Mountain because of our Great Tang expedition to Xiding Kingdom."

"In the past, I heard from my ancestors that when Wang Mang usurped the Han, the sky descended from this mountain, and there was a god monkey under him. Copper juice. Since ancient times, it has survived freezing and starving."

The god monkey said: "500 years ago, my grandson made a big disturbance in the heavenly palace and was suppressed by the Buddha. Fortunately, Guanyin Bodhisattva enlightened me, and I just waited for the master to save me. I would like to be an apprentice with you and protect you to go to the west. Learn from the scriptures."

When Xuanzang heard the words, his face showed embarrassment, and he said helplessly: "The poor monk has no ax to chisel, how can I rescue you?"

Sun Wukong laughed loudly and said: "As long as the master climbs to the top of the mountain and removes the Tathagata scriptures, my old grandson will be able to come out!"

Hearing this, Xuanzang climbed up the mountain slowly, and saw a dharma post sticking to the rock on the top of the mountain, shining with bright Buddha light.

Xuanzang bowed slightly to the post, and immediately the post opened by itself, turned into a stream of light, and headed towards the west.

Wukong asked Xuanzang to avoid a certain distance, only to hear a loud bang, a figure soared into the sky, and at the same time, an incomparably joyful voice resounded through the world.

"Hahaha, my grandson is here! My grandson is here!"

A voice said faintly: "This monkey is also a pitiful creature. How sad his life is controlled by people! We might as well win him over, maybe he can be used by us."
