These Hu chieftains were also happy to see the Liu family and his son following Li Tai, and they laughed and said, "Finally, Liu Wanqi has also been recruited by Li Dadu to join in the grand plan of spreading the Dharma! Your department is powerful. , I have accumulated a lot, and if I get funding, the temple will be completed faster! By then, not only this generation will be honored for the first time, but future generations will also enjoy the blessing of Buddha!"

Faced with the praise and flattery of all the heroes, the Lius and his sons just responded with a dry smile, and did not immediately make any statement.

Seeing that they still had reservations and hesitation about this matter, Li Tai was not in a hurry.If you don't believe in this kind of thing, it's fine, but once you get started, you can't control it, and it will make people addicted to it and unable to extricate themselves.

"The Buddhist temple has not yet been completed, but the rituals of the Buddhas are already in progress. There are three tents here, one is for worshiping the Buddha, the other is for preaching scriptures, and the third is for propagating the Dharma."

"Master Buddha is the Dharma Master of Beizhou. In addition to the merciful Buddha karma taught by Buddhism, he also has a blood relationship between races. All tribes and ethnic groups, no matter whether they are wise, foolish, rich or poor, must make offerings to a Master Buddha in this life. Only then can it be said that there is no omission and perfection, it will survive calamities without injury, and it will reincarnate and enjoy blessings!"

Li Tai has now become an ambassador for the promotion of Master Liu's religious image. After entering the tent, he solemnly introduces the importance of offering a statue of Master Buddha.

In this tent, pottery Buddha statues are piled up on the bottom layer. They have dull faces and rough shapes, and they are not even colored. They look like dusty clods of hard soil.

Their names must be engraved on the base of the Buddha statues, and they can enjoy the incense merits and virtues with their masters and Buddhas. worship.

It is also very simple to make a contribution, just make people and things.For example, this Buddhist temple occupies such a vast area, of course it needs to be bought from the state and county government to enclose the land as a temple.

Li Tai personally guaranteed the state government and undertook the contribution of [-] bolts of silk, and now he seems to be the biggest worshiper of this Buddhist temple.Therefore, the Buddha statue he enshrines is not placed on the earthen platform, but a shrine dedicated to it, which is specially used as a Buddhist room for offerings. Every day, eminent monks chant sutras to protect and consecrate it.

The Hu chiefs around the area raised more than [-] pieces of silk, and finally exchanged this piece of land from the prefecture and county for the construction of Buddhist temples.

Therefore, these Jihu chieftains also each have a statue of merit. Although they can't meet Li Tai's treatment of having a separate shrine, they will all be enshrined in the upper rank after the completion of the Buddhist hall.

In addition to the illusory merits and blessings, the worshipers of these meritorious statues also enjoy a practical privilege, that is, the opportunity to obtain temple management rights.The head monks of various levels in the temple will only be selected from these priests.

The person responsible for explaining these worship rules to Liu and his son is Master Hongyi, the current abbot of the temple.

This so-called mage is actually an old monk who was captured by Li Tai in Hongfa Temple in Beidi and taken as a domestic slave. Li Tai saw that he has a dignified appearance, a good image and can speak eloquently, so he specially invited him to be named a great virtuous monk. The title of mage is used to preside over the construction and daily affairs of temples.

But in fact, this seemingly otherworldly mage has deep roots in vulgarity. His two sons, one daughter, and all his wives and concubines were adopted in Li Tai's Shangyuan Village.

Father and son Liu listened to this very seriously, and became even more respectful to Master Hongyi, who presided over the ceremony.It's not because he doesn't know the true face of this old monk, or because he believes in Buddhism, but because he has heard the deep meaning.

The Master Liu Buddha Temple built by Li Tai, in a small way, is to gather people to collect money, but in a big way, it is to create a new order among these Jihu people!

Although Liu Shifo was born in Beizhou, the real teaching area is in Longyou, and the Buddhist principles he upholds are also widely spread in Longyou.

If Li Tai wants to run this Buddhist temple, he must of course provide a full set of services, so he specially entrusts Dugu Xin to find a few eminent monks in Longyou who have passed on this Dharma, and come in to preach Master Liu's scriptures and ideas.

But it turned out that his arrangement was just redundant.Most of the Jihu people only believe in it, but don't listen to the scriptures. Even if the eminent monks grind their teeth here, there are still very few people who listen to the scriptures.

On the contrary, the propagating tent on the right is often overcrowded, with thousands of people gathering at every turn.

Because here are mainly the shocking picture books and drama stories displayed, such as Liu Shifo's demons and demons, divination ancient and modern and other stories of gods and monsters, especially when there are dramas where monsters transform into beautiful women with the intention of luring eminent monks into evil ways, then The inner three layers and the outer three layers of containment are airtight.

It can be seen that from ancient times to the present, fighting monsters and upgrading, driving and drifting are the popular ways of disseminating information.

When I saw those seductive women with all kinds of seduction methods, I couldn't help substituting them, feeling hot and restless, but the master and Buddha could sit still and calm like a mountain, and naturally understood the subtlety of the eminent monk's Dharma laity.As for those Buddhist scriptures that make people drowsy, what a fart!

Li Tai was not discriminatory about this, as long as the influence of the Buddhist temple could be expanded and more manpower and materials could be gathered, naturally everyone could show them what they wanted to see.If you really want to be poor, study the truth, and work drowsily, the leeks will be wilted!

Liu's father and son also came here, and only then did they know where the legend of Liu Shifo's conversion of Governor Li came from. There are many such plots in those Jingbian picture books. The eyebrows and eyes of the characters in the picture books are vaguely similar to this Governor Li. The methods are different, but in the end, without exception, they all have a bright and stalwart image.

"The Metropolitan Governor promotes the Dharma and respects Master Buddha so much, but believers of my race stay out of the matter and sit and wait for it to be accomplished. After visiting the Buddhist temple for a while, Liu's father and son no longer hesitated, but expressed their attitude sincerely.

Seeing that this business has been sought after by many like-minded people, and the climate is gradually becoming a reality, naturally the sooner you join, the greater the benefits.

After Li Tai heard the words, he said with a smile: "I am only giving a little convenience and support within my duties. The real man who manages this matter is Master Hongyi, an eminent monk elected by the masses. It is good that Patriarch Liu has such a Buddhist and kind heart. It is inconvenient for me to discuss with Master Hongyi."

After explaining this, he returned to Fangcheng, and monk Hongyi was in charge of greeting the father and son.
