Ten thousand I am across the heavens

Chapter 2564 You Absolutely Can't Do Without Money

In the eyes of the current Ghost Demon Lord, Baohuangtian is an excellent trading platform where everyone is anonymous. No one can discover each other's true identities, and no one can interfere with the trading process. Most importantly, once a transaction is completed, no one can immediately withdraw it.

Here, there is no distinction between strong and weak, only between rich and poor. As long as you have money, you can complete a transaction normally. If I really wanted to take advantage of the information gap during this period when my strength was rapidly increasing and Bao Huangtian's spirit was unaware, I could subtly influence and gradually seize this cave that had devoured the fragments of the Nine Heavens.

Baohuangtian is a blessed land that became permanently stable after it devoured a huge fragment of Huangtian (Yellow Heaven) and was no longer affected by natural disasters or calamities.

The Nine-Day Fragment is an extremely rare special item. Legend has it that in ancient times, there were nine days in the sky, consisting of red, orange, yellow, green, cyan, blue, and purple, plus black and white. Instead of alternating between day and night, the nine days rotated in turn.

But as time went by and history progressed, the seven colors of the sky—red, orange, yellow, green, cyan, blue, and violet—gradually disappeared, shattered in one terrifying battle after another and in historical upheavals. And the fragments that broke apart were the fragments of the Nine Heavens, which were essentially treasures containing the origin of this world.

Immortal apertures are inherently impossible to preserve indefinitely. If an immortal dies and no one oversees them, they will dissipate on their own over time. Even after death, the immortal aperture, which transformed into a celestial realm, still faces natural disasters and calamities. Without someone to oversee it, successfully surviving these trials is even more difficult. A single misstep can result in its complete destruction, after which it returns to the surrounding world.

However, there is a special case. Once a blessed land merges with the fragments of the Nine Heavens, it will no longer experience any natural disasters or calamities, as if it has become part of this world. While it will no longer become stronger, it can continue to exist indefinitely.

Bao Huangtian became the largest neutral trading institution today by devouring a sufficiently large fragment of Huangtian. Its unique characteristic—that no one can truly infiltrate it, and no one can reveal their true form—makes it one of the most stable trading platforms.

The reputation built up over thousands of years allows countless people to confidently place their goods here.

Normally, invading this place would be virtually impossible, as no one has succeeded in all these millennia. But for the current Ghostly Demon Lord, it's not necessarily impossible to go.

One of the opportunities lies in Baohuangtian's special service of temporarily storing goods. After listing your items for sale, you can temporarily store them there. Theoretically, live animals cannot be stored there, or more precisely, intelligent beings. However, some low-intelligence wild beasts can be stored there.

However, by tampering with the stored items, there is a very small chance that the original controller of Baohuangtian can be destroyed from within.

The Republic of Mountains and Rivers was essentially capable of forcibly seizing control of this trading platform in this way; however, by the time their technology had developed to the point where they could do so, Baohuangtian had already chosen to close down and cease operations, no longer choosing to risk providing this service.

It's as if, whenever the Venerable One is alive and at the height of his power, Bao Huangtian chooses to conceal his presence and keep a low profile. After all, he has no shortage of resources. Furthermore, he is virtually impossible to attack normally. As long as he chooses to arrive covertly, even a large organization like the Heavenly Court, even if the Venerable One himself comes, can't really do anything to him.

But this is an era in which the Venerable One has fallen, a chaotic world where heroes from all walks of life rise. Bao Huangtian, you must seize this opportunity to reap massive profits. The Ghostly Demon Lord is not yet a well-known powerhouse. In fact, his total transaction volume doesn't even rank among the top. What seemed like an extravagant clearance sale before was merely selling some low-value commodities. To others, the profits are limited; theoretically, one could earn some money, but it's just hard-earned money.

Therefore, the Ghostly Demon Lord is now almost never targeted. With this thought in mind, he began practicing the latest Immortal Gu House according to the instructions he had obtained—the first combat-type Immortal Gu House he planned to create, swirling in the flying sand and wind.

As its name suggests, this thing is different from a conventional immortal Gu house. It is composed of countless tiny Gu worms, similar to nanomachines. They are smaller than a grain of sand, allowing them to combine and disintegrate at will. They can even flow like water.

Things like this... if refined using traditional methods, it would be impossible to produce them all. It would likely take an endless amount of time to complete the task. Even those nano-sized Gu worms, much smaller than a grain of sand, are easier and less costly to refine than the lowest-level first-stage Gu worms. The time required to refine such a large quantity, one by one, using normal methods, would have to be expressed using scientific notation.

This is one of the few works that doesn't use the Immortal Gu as its core, yet it's still praised as an Immortal Gu House work. It relies on using scientific and technological methods to describe the terrifying power of the entire system constructed from a massive number of tiny Gu worms.

To refine this substance, a corresponding factory must be built. This factory must rely on its mechanized capabilities to produce Gu worms at a speed far beyond human comprehension. Only then can the reserves be gradually accumulated until the desired level is achieved.

The strength of this thing is basically proportional to its size. If it's only the size of a palm, it can only hover around the fifth level. But if it exceeds the size of a train, it can barely reach the sixth level.

If the size were increased to the scale of a skyscraper or even larger, the power and corresponding grade would be even higher.

The Ghostly Demon Lord chose to refine this item first so that he could secretly invade Baohuangtian before revealing his true abilities.

The flying sand and wind can disintegrate into countless tiny individuals, meaning they can blend into the bodies of other Gu worms. While being stored, they silently infiltrate the interior of the Imperial Guardian Heaven. Each time, like dust, only a tiny bit gets in. Over time, they gradually transfer their entirety inside, growing larger and larger, secretly using the materials there to create enhancement devices for themselves. Theoretically, with the passage of time, it is indeed possible to conquer and even seize this largest trading platform in the world from within, based on their fundamental strength.
