Chapter 1579 Three Caves
After Liu Haiyu left, everyone's eyes turned to Feng Mingjun. Ye Qingya asked, "You resigned?"

Feng Mingjun said, "I was in charge of the operation that night. As soon as the operation started, no one could find me. In their eyes, this was called desertion."

Ye Qingya knew that Feng Mingjun was not that kind of person. How could someone who even her mother admired so much possibly desert her post?

Hua Zhuyue asked, "Have you been kidnapped?"

Not long after entering, they encountered a barrier: an iron gate blocked their way. Opening the gate delayed them for a few more minutes. When they finally crawled out of the hole, they discovered that the exit was actually in the backyard.

Liu Haiyu then realized he had been misled. There must have been more than one hole in the room. He went back and investigated carefully, and sure enough, there were three holes under the floor of the room where Feng Mingjun and the others had eaten. Only one of them was their escape route.
