Superman's Saiyan Brother
Chapter 1310 Siege and Attitude Towards the Universe
"No! This can't be real!" When Jehovah realized that he had actually been injured by the Supermen, his expression changed drastically. He certainly couldn't accept this fact.
After all, in Jehovah's eyes, these superhumans are nothing but ants, but now Jehovah is being harmed by ants. How can he accept this?
Jehovah's roar could not change anything, because Jehovah's previous killing of the Supermen had made the remaining Supermen lose the idea of sparing Jehovah.
Not to mention that Jehovah was the real culprit who cruelly destroyed their universe, even though the Supermen didn't kill Jehovah just now, Jehovah didn't let them go either.
The deaths of one Superman after another have taught the Supermen that this is no joke or child's play. When faced with life-or-death threats and the potential tragic fate of other Supermen, the Supermen will no longer hold back.
Of course, Jehovah is still stronger than individual Superman, because Jehovah is a genuine multiverse-level powerhouse, while Superman is only a multiverse-level combatant.
There is actually a difference in their levels of understanding, which is why so many superhumans were unable to stop Jehovah from interfering with their universe.
Therefore, when Jehovah discovered that he was injured and had become more deranged, his fighting ability was greatly enhanced, which put tremendous pressure on the Supermen.
As a result, many more Supermen were blown to pieces on the spot, which made the remaining Supermen even more serious, because they realized that if they didn't perform well, they might actually be wiped out by Jehovah.
"If he can fight to the death, why can't we? We've fought to the death before!" Superman shouted upon seeing the current situation.
The other Supermen also became excited upon hearing this.
Indeed, since they were going to die anyway, rather than being killed directly by Jehovah, they might as well die a heroic death and try to mutually destroy Jehovah. Isn't that exactly the mindset they had when they were protecting the universe?
Although it would be a great pity to die at the hands of Jehovah at this moment, the universe they protected had at least survived, so their deaths were worthwhile.
"Buzz!"
"laugh!"
"Boom!"
Once they made their decision, the Supermen, who were already giving it their all, went all out, just like when they faced Jehovah and Nemesis destroying the universe.
"Damn it!" Jehovah's expression changed instantly. If Jehovah had already begun to be injured when Superman was exerting all his strength, then Jehovah was now struggling to withstand Superman's desperate counterattack.
After all, Jehovah is no longer the Jehovah he once was. No matter how hard the Supermen fought, they couldn't harm him in the slightest. But now, Jehovah's body is collapsing under the Supermen's attacks.
"No!" Jehovah cried out in despair, trying to regain his form, but not very successfully.
Because before Jehovah's body had recovered, the Supermen's attacks came one after another. The devastating attacks might not have been able to kill Jehovah at the peak of the multiverse level, but they were enough to severely injure him.
Not to mention, this kind of world-destroying attack is not a one-off event, but countless times. When the Supermen fight with their lives on the line, they are even more terrifying than Jehovah, who is currently in a frenzy.
Therefore, Jehovah's body could not be solidified at all, and was instantly destroyed by the Supermen.
Of course, such attacks come at a price for Superman; one Superman after another dies after burning through all their power.
However, this speed wouldn't be faster than Jehovah's killing of the Supermen. This can be considered Jehovah's retribution; if he hadn't killed them so quickly, the Supermen wouldn't have retaliated so decisively.
With a "poof!" sound, after an unknown amount of time, Jehovah's body was completely shattered. Even though his rules and energy remained, they could not be reassembled.
If Jehovah's power far surpasses that of these superhumans, then Jehovah can still hide and reform his body.
But Jehovah's current state of being was not something that could escape the eyes of the superhumans. They instantly locked onto Jehovah's rules and energy and continued to attack him.
Faced with such an attack, even Jehovah, who had formed a physical body, could not withstand it, let alone Jehovah, who had not formed a physical body.
Therefore, under the repeated attacks of the superhumans, Jehovah's remaining energy and rules were completely extinguished, which also means that this Jehovah has died completely.
Even if another Jehovah is born in the Robert multiverse in the future, it will not be the same Jehovah as now, and there will no longer be such a Jehovah in the entire omnipotent universe.
The powerful figures watching the battle could clearly sense just how unwilling Jehovah was before his complete demise.
Jehovah is naturally not afraid of death, at least not after experiencing so many things and having his mentality collapse time and time again.
But Jehovah always wanted to die at Robert's hands, because Robert was suspected to be a supreme being, and Jehovah would be honored to die at Robert's hands.
It's much better than dying at the hands of a group of superhumans who don't even have a multiverse-level ability.
Crobbert didn't give Jehovah any chance at all; he let Jehovah die at the hands of the Supermen, which pleased Clark even more and could be considered a successful revenge by the Supermen for their previous deaths.
Of course, the Supermen who died at the hands of Jehovah or destroyed themselves in this battle did not die. They came out to help fight Jehovah, so how could Robert really let them die?
Robert simply noticed that the Supermen initially lacked fighting spirit, and even though they were enemies of Jehovah, they were still hesitant at first. So Robert gave the Supermen a little push.
Those Supermen who appeared to be dead have returned to their own universes as if they had never left, so there's no need to worry about Robert's actions affecting these Supermen and their universes.
After the remaining Supermen defeated Jehovah, they learned about the experiences of the other Supermen, and they couldn't help but feel relieved. After all, if a comrade had sacrificed his life, even if they achieved final victory, the Supermen would still feel regret, as humanity inherently desires a perfect ending.
In such a battle, the Supermen certainly don't want any real sacrifices to occur.
“It’s over. Now our multiverse is free from calamity.” Clark said with a touch of emotion as he watched Jehovah die and the Supermen disappear back into the multiverse.
“How can there be no calamities? If there were no calamities at all, there would be no more changes or progress in the universe, and the entire universe would eventually become a stagnant pool.” Robert slowly shook his head and said softly.
People with different levels of understanding see things from different perspectives.
For Robert, he could eliminate all calamities in the entire multiverse with a single thought, and even change the style of the multiverse in an instant, turning it into a complete paradise for families.
Here, all life can live in harmony, without any conflict, without bloodshed or violence, without greed or desire. This place will become a paradise, a fairyland, an Eden, and the beautiful world that all mankind has ever dreamed of.
But is this really good for the universe and for life? Not necessarily.
Because the entire ecosystem will be restructured, and the entire universe's structure will be changed.
When everyone has the same personality, the world will lose its vitality, like robots without subjective consciousness. These lives are merely operating according to the so-called harmonious coexistence set by Robert.
It is precisely because of their different levels of understanding that Robert would not choose such a path. In this respect, Robert is somewhat similar to Jehovah.
However, unlike Jehovah, Robert does not intentionally bring calamities to any universe, nor does he destroy a universe simply because something happens to it.
In this respect, Robert is also different from the Omni-King and the Grand Priest.
Even though Robert's level has improved, he hasn't completely lost his human side. Outside of battle, Robert is still not much different from a human.
“Yes, if everything were to operate according to your ideas, the multiverse would become a world without self-awareness and self-development. Sometimes, not interfering is the best choice.” Clark quickly understood Robert’s meaning and finally agreed.
"Of course, I know that you simply let the multiverse develop because you don't want to manage it in detail yourself, but that's better than making random changes."
"Huh? We've been found out?" Robert's eyes widened instantly as he looked at Clark and said with a smile, "I can't even be bothered with a single universe, let alone an entire multiverse?"
"It's already quite good that I've been able to reorganize and improve the rules of the multiverse and prevent new chaos from arising in it. Do those creator gods really want me to handle everything in the multiverse?"
"Do they think that since the multiverse is under my control, I will fight for it, and they can retire and stop managing the multiverse?"
"With so many multiverses, why does every single one have a creator god? Isn't it because they're effective? Their system can stabilize the most basic operating logic of a single universe, so why should I bother trying to change it?"
"Seriously? We still have to work? Just with a different boss?" Wuxian was instantly displeased upon hearing Robert's words, and said with some resentment, "I thought we could retire once he matured!"
"Retirement? Dream on! Taking it easy is fine, but retirement is out of the question!" Death sneered. "Look at all these multiverses, which creator god in any universe has ever been able to retire?"
"You're thinking about retiring? I haven't even retired yet, how are you going to retire?" The Living Tribunal appeared between the Creator God and Robert and the others. One of its heads was complaining to the Creator God, while the other two heads greeted Robert and Clark, "Hello!"
“Hello, this is an old acquaintance of yours. How about it? Would you like to go home and visit?” Robert nodded to the Living Tribunal and asked Dr. Manhattan with a smile.
“No need. That’s no longer my universe. When I left, my story system left with me. They all belong to my universe and are developing anew with my stories as the starting point.” Dr. Manhattan slowly shook his head and said softly.
While Robert's universe includes parts of the DC Universe, it does not encompass all of the DC Universe, nor does it include all of the Marvel Universe.
Of course, Robert could easily add these elements into his universe with a thought, but he felt it was unnecessary. His universe didn't need to be changed; it was fine to keep it as it was.
“Without me, theoretically speaking, you should have gone down the path of opposing Clark,” Robert said, smiling at Dr. Manhattan. “Did you reenact that in your own universe?”
“No.” Dr. Manhattan slowly shook his head and said softly, “If you hadn’t come, the future timelines I saw would all have converged into one final scene, where I would have been punched by Superman, and I would never have been able to see what happened after that.”
"But if I create a universe myself, I can see all the possible futures in the entire universe at a glance, and the things that were originally seen in the universe's trajectory will not happen."
"Looking at it this way, if it weren't for me, Clark really would be the absolute core of this multiverse!" Robert said to Clark with a mocking look. "Being able to hit Dr. Manhattan, you must also be a multiverse-level powerhouse. Maybe you'll be the one to take on Jehovah and Nemesis then..."
“How could I possibly withstand that?” Clark glanced at Robert with annoyance. “Reaching my current strength is already my limit. Even if I sacrifice myself, I can’t possibly mess with Nemesis and Jehovah…”
"Moreover, Nemesis also controls the multiverse. If she really loses and destroys the multiverse, how can I stop her?"
“Perhaps you’ll have your own way back then?” Robert, Dr. Manhattan, and the Living Tribunal exchanged glances, then Robert pretended to be the Riddler and said.
"Riddler, get out of Gotham!" Clark, now a multiverse-level powerhouse, decisively gave his reply after learning a great deal about the DC universe.
For a moment, the surrounding powerful figures laughed, filling the air with a joyful atmosphere. For those of the same cultivation level, their interactions were not much different from those with ordinary people; therefore, they were all equals. (End of Chapter)
