Superman's Saiyan Brother

1387. Author's Closing Remarks

My new book, "Becoming Superman: Starting with Killing Homelander," has been released!
You won't believe how fast time flies until you see it; this book has been in the works for over three years.

It should have been finished a long time ago. I had planned to write a new book around this time last year, but I kept putting it off until now. I'm so sorry!
I remember when this book was first released, it had a lot of favorites, but the subscription rate crashed, and it didn't even reach half of what a normal readership would normally have.

I originally planned to try my best to update more frequently to see if I could salvage the situation. I updated more than 10,000 words a day for about three months. In the end, my performance improved, but it still couldn't compare to the previous "True Chase" series. Moreover, while maintaining 10,000 words a day, my average daily updates started to decline, which made me lose all motivation.

What followed was a long period of doing nothing, living on welfare, and maintaining perfect attendance. I consistently wrote 4,100 words and took two days off every month.

It's strange, really. When I was writing over 10,000 words a day, I didn't feel tired even writing 12,000, and I could stick to it every day without any problems. But when I started writing 4,000 words a day, I would dawdle and struggle to finish even 4,000 words, and I would only finish writing them when it was almost midnight.

Once laziness takes hold, it's really hard to break free. If you write a little more one day, you'll automatically write less the next day, and you'll have no drafts left.

Moreover, I spent a long time writing a single plot point, and before I knew it, I had added a lot of filler. I wanted to finish it a long time ago, but I didn't want to write any more. I didn't want to cut it off or abandon the outline, so the plot just got slower and slower.

However, the new book will definitely not be like that, because the attendance requirements have been adjusted, and the pace of the new book will definitely be faster, unlike this one which is so long.

After all, there's no perfect attendance if you don't meet the standards, and the longer you write, the harder it is to meet the standards. It certainly won't be as drawn out as it is later in this book.

If the new book does well, I can definitely regain the skill of writing 10,000 words a day.

Finally, let's talk about the final results of this book. It has 56,000 favorites, an average subscription rate of 749, and a high subscription rate of 9319. It's a bit better than the previous book, so it's an improvement. I hope the next book will be even better.
