Chapter 904 The Deal!

"Is this solved? That was way too easy!"

The fat man looked up blankly and saw the underground rice dumplings lying on the ground. He couldn't help but ask a question.

Hu Bayi stepped forward, patted him on the shoulder, and chuckled.

"That's right, Fatty, we're all safe now! And who do you think everyone is the Queen of Jingjue?"

"We won!"

The fat man let out a loud shout as if venting his anger, and immediately sat down on the ground with a thud.

"Phew, oh, that was terrifying! We finally won, but if this ordeal continues, I, Fatty, can't take it anymore! Sigh, I'm getting old!"

The fat man raised his left sleeve and vigorously wiped the sweat from his forehead.

Hu Bayi looked towards Hu Ming, who was standing alone in front of the stone coffin, silently looking at the corpse of the Chen family ancestor at his feet.

Hu Ming pointed to the white-haired corpse at his feet, and Huba looked down when he heard this.

On the chest of this corpse, a jade stone as red as blood appeared.

The dagger was no bigger than the palm of a hand, but a dazzling blue gemstone was inlaid on the hilt, making it look exceptionally radiant.

"This thing is worth a lot of money!"

Hu Bayi carefully examined the azure sapphire dagger and commented on it.

Upon hearing this, the fat man immediately became excited.

He asked expectantly, "Hey, Lao Hu, how much do you estimate this dagger is worth?"

Hu Bayi glanced at him with a smile and said jokingly, "What's wrong, Fatty? Are you broke again?"

The fat man glared at him irritably and complained.

“Now that the second young lady of the Chen family is dead down here, the reward she promised us will naturally be gone. Should we sell this dagger for a higher price this time? They rented a new hotel suite and planned to sell the sapphire dagger they had acquired in the underground black market on the outskirts of Beijing.

The fat man stood alone in front of the floor-to-ceiling window, holding his phone, discussing the deal he was dealing with a regular customer in the black market.

Hu Ming sat in front of the sofa, using a white cloth as a cushion, carefully examining the blood jade he had obtained from the corpse of Ye Kui.

This eerie blood jade looks like a pool of fresh blood, with countless tadpole-like tiny things solidifying within it.

"What on earth is this thing?"

Hu Ming had a lot of questions in his mind. Looking at the blood jade, he always had an instinctive feeling that this thing would be of great use in the future.

Hu Bayi pushed open the bathroom door and walked out, wiping his face with a towel in his hand.

"Fatty, how did the discussion go?" he asked directly to the fat man standing by the French windows.

The fat man glanced back and spoke to his regular customer on the other end of the phone.

"Okay, we'll do as you say this time. We'll make it!"

With a "whoosh," the fat man hung up the phone, then walked to the sofa and plopped down on it.

"The deal for this sapphire dagger has been finalized. The buyer, through an underground intermediary, has expressed their willingness to pay eleven million. However, they insist that we personally deliver the item to them."

The fat man stated his gains directly.

Both Hu Bayi and his brother sensed something was wrong upon hearing this.

Hu Ming asked directly, "Fatty, isn't this a little off? In the past, we always traded directly through these underground merchants; we never needed to show up in person."

The fat man spread his hands and sighed.

"Yes, the old fat man has done this many times, but this time, the buyer insisted that we bring the goods in person, otherwise he wouldn't pay."
