Only then did the patriarch show a look of relief, and said slowly: "Xinxuan, do you know what happened before the Buddha became enlightened in the past?"

Ao Qing thought for a while and said: "I have heard about this matter. The Tathagata Buddha was originally the prince of the Jingfan King of the Western Kapilavastu Kingdom, and he was called Gautama. Because he is a saint of the Sakya tribe, he is also called Sakyamuni."

Shakya, is the Shakya family.Muni means "sage".

The patriarch nodded: "Yes, you understand very clearly. Before the Tathagata Buddha became a Buddha, it was Sakyamuni. Then do you know that before him, the Buddhist teachings practiced by Buddhists are very different from what they are now?"

The patriarch said: "You don't know, but it's normal. This is the past, even the ancient past. Before that Sakyamuni, Buddhism still existed, but the Dharma that was practiced was 'quiet'. Shakyamuni realized Taoism and became a Buddha under the bodhi tree, and realized the "Three Vehicles".

In fact, this is quite different from what he understands.

Although, in the real world, Sakyamuni is the founder of Buddhism.But in Buddhist mythology, Sakyamuni is only the last of the "seven Buddhas of the past".

According to this statement, let alone Amitabha Buddha, the "King of Buddhas" of the third generation in "the heavens and worlds", even in the Saha world, Sakyamuni Buddha is not the oldest.

There are three kalpas in Buddhism, the solemn kalpa in the past, the virtuous kalpa in the present, and the star kalpa in the future.

The three kalpas here also represent the period of "past", "present" and "future" erecting the Buddha of the third age.

Thousands of Buddhas were born in the solemn eons in the past, and the leader was the ancient Buddha who burned the lamp.

When the lamp-burning ancient Buddha was the Buddha, what the West pursued was "the Dharma of extinction".The meaning of Nirvana Buddhism is "the body is quiet and separated from all appearances".In other words, "appearance" is unimportant. Love and hate, lust, good and evil, and happiness are just external appearances.

If you want to become a Buddha, you have to practice solitude, extinction of all appearances.It is not only "evil", but also "good".

Because good is the opposite of evil, where there is good, there will be evil.In the same way, happiness and pain are not real happiness and pain, but karma that confuses people and need to be "quiet".

Ancient Buddhism practiced this method.

From then on, Chengzheng and other enlightenments were regarded as the Buddha by all the Buddhas, and became the "present Buddha" of Buddhism, creating the current Buddhism.

However, although the Buddhas recognized the Tathagata Buddha.But the demon lord Bo Xun and the demonic heavens did not approve.

Even Bo Xun believed that the Three Vehicles of Tathagata Buddha was just ancient Buddhism disguised as hypocrisy, which was even more hateful.Therefore, he repeatedly obstructed Buddhism and confronted Tathagata Buddha.

Although Bo Xun was at a disadvantage, with his obstruction, the Three Vehicles were still unable to spread.Not to mention the four major continents, even in Xiniu Hezhou, it is impossible to suppress the demon way.

Not only that, the Buddha also calculated that there will be a catastrophe for Western Buddhism. If the three vehicles are destroyed at that time, people will be devastated. Even if they are reborn, they will only go back to the old path of extinction of Buddhism.Therefore, he tried every means to spread Buddhism to Nanfang Buzhou.

Even if the Three Vehicles are really eliminated, at least, they can be passed down in Nanfang Buzhou.

But in this process, it is impossible for Bo Xun not to obstruct it.So he can only look for other ways.

And this method is... Passing Buddhism to the East!
