Chapter 2240 I’m married
It was Lu Jinyang's voice.

"Don't worry, take your time. I'm going to go outside and have a cigarette."

"it is good."

Pei Dongshi pushed the door open and went to the bathroom on this floor. When he came out, there was a man washing his hands next to him. When he left, he took off his watch but did not take it with him.

"gentlemen."

He stopped the man and pointed at the table, "Is this your stuff?"

The man was about thirty years old, with neat hair, wearing a well-ironed suit, a neatly tied tie, a pair of glasses on his nose, and a blush on his thin lips. He smiled gently and said in a low, mellow voice, "Thank you."

"You're welcome."

Pei Dongshi took a piece of tissue, wiped it dry, crumpled it into a ball and threw it away.

He walked out into the corridor, lit a cigarette, held it between his fingertips and walked slowly, with one hand in his trouser pocket. Just then his cell phone rang, so he took it out to check the incoming call.

It was an unknown number, and he hung up after two rings.

There was a woman's voice behind the screen, faint and cold.

He suddenly shuddered all over.

Standing there without moving.

Two minutes later, the person behind the screen came out and saw him as soon as he looked up.

"Pei Dongshi?"

He put out his cigarette and said with a smile, "Do you still recognize me?"

The woman curled her lips and put her phone into her bag. "I just remember a name."

His smile paused for a moment, "Just a name?"

"Ah……"

She chuckled softly.

Pei Dongshi leaned back with his shoulders spread out. There was a wall behind him, but he didn't lean against it. He stood with his legs straight. He lowered his eyes intentionally so that he could see her whole face clearly.

Thinner, more beautiful, and more elegant.

During those months, he didn't turn on the lights every night and was deeply impressed by her seaweed-like hair.

But she had straight hair, and now dyed it into waves. Under the light, her chestnut curly hair spread over her shoulders, which looked very nice. There was a gentleman's appreciation in his eyes, "Long time no see, you have changed a lot."

"I just like you to praise me for being more beautiful."

He chuckled, "Of course."

Then he asked, "When did you come back to Rongcheng?"

"Not coming back, but leaving."

The smile on his face faded a little, "When?"

"Not sure, it depends on how he handles the situation, but it will only be in the next few days."

Pei Dongshi's expression paused slightly, and the corners of his mouth dropped. In just a moment, a faint smile appeared between his eyebrows again, "Him?"

"Well, my husband."

"I've been married for two years, Pei Dongshi."

His heart sank, and he couldn't explain the feeling, but it was quite blocked.

The woman glanced at him, then took out a red invitation from her bag. "Since we've met, I'll invite you. My son's full moon banquet will be held next week in Lincheng, City A, not far from here. If you want to come, please give me a favor. After all, your status is different now, and your presence will be a great honor to us."

Pei Dongshi didn't answer.

She didn't care, she just took his hand and put the invitation in his hand.

Took a photo.

Before he could hold it firmly, nor could he feel the warmth of the woman's hand, she let go of it freely.

Standing close enough, I could smell the tobacco on him.

"You got any cigarettes?"

Pei Dongshi raised his eyebrows, "When did you learn it?"

"Don't worry about it. Give me one."

The woman stretched out her hand toward him, with her other three fingers curled up, and her tenth and middle fingers already in position to receive a cigarette.

Pei Dongshi took out a cigarette box and took out a cigarette. When he handed it to her, she raised her hand, but he took it back. "Men's cigarettes are strong. You should smoke less."
