Chapter 345 Reunion
Having officially entered the mobile treatment center, Jiang Hui and his group were essentially out of the chaotic battle zone and completely away from danger.

Of the two, Clarence was naturally the one who needed treatment the most. He had been unconscious for some time, and even during the most critical moment when he was almost smashed into a pulp, he hadn't regained consciousness for a moment, as if he had been in a coma.

The sergeant who initially examined him later said that Clarence's physical strength and life energy had plummeted due to excessive blood loss, and his body had entered a state of functional shock as a self-protective measure to maintain bodily functions. However, unlike his deteriorating physical condition, his mental state was surprisingly active—he was likely still conscious.

As expected, upon entering the mobile treatment center, the therapists who began emergency care discovered that the other person's mental state remained clear throughout. Even though he exhibited symptoms of unconsciousness, his consciousness remained sharp, and he was even able to hear and sense subtle changes in the external environment.

In this state of extreme contrast, the pain he felt was several times stronger than when he was awake.

So this person has always been in so much pain? Clearly feeling the pain of his wounds bursting open, feeling all sorts of chaotic and confusing sounds from the outside world, even clearly knowing that he is facing a catastrophe... but he can do nothing, he can only close his eyes and let his soul shrink into this powerless body, waiting in vain for death.

If Jiang Hui were in this situation, just thinking about it would make him feel an unspeakable pressure bearing down on him, making it hard for him to breathe.

You must be in a lot of pain too? Jiang Hui was pushed aside by the therapists who were rushing to save her. Looking at the pale face still in the center, even though the eyes were closed, she could vaguely feel that the other person was struggling anxiously in the darkness.

"But at least we survived, we're all... so wake up soon." Everything will be alright. Jiang Hui said silently.

"Young lady, come sit down too. Let me check you over; you don't look too well." A very gentle-looking female therapist leaned behind her and led Jiang Hui to another bed.

This mobile treatment center wasn't small; there were four or five therapists. But aside from the therapists and staff, there were only two patients—or rather, it only carried the two of them, the sufferers.

Of the two, Clarence's condition was naturally much more serious. When the sergeant contacted the treatment center, he had probably already reported Clarence's general condition, so as soon as the two were brought aboard, all the therapists in the cabin rushed to Clarence's aid.

They naturally asked Jiang Hui, but she seemed to be doing well, and she insisted on checking on Clarence first before going over, so Jiang Hui didn't undergo any medical examinations during that time.

The therapist had noticed Jiang Hui earlier and saw that her complexion was gradually turning pale. Worried that she might have hidden internal injuries, he decided to give Jiang Hui a private examination.

The result was naturally nothing seriously wrong. But... there were quite a few problems. Her hands, legs, and muscles all over her body showed varying degrees of strain and overuse. It wasn't obvious yet, but it would probably show tomorrow. Moreover, it triggered a very troublesome old ailment of hers; after today's ordeal, she was experiencing mental exhaustion again.

This is not good news.

In the preceding months, Jiang Hui had suffered several injuries, resulting in varying degrees of mental exhaustion, causing the therapist Michael, who examined her at the time, to shake his head repeatedly. He advised her that if she didn't want to encounter problems during her third awakening, she should pay close attention to her mental state and avoid such repeated overexertion.

Furthermore, even with Michael's extensive medical experience, he couldn't accurately determine the outward manifestations and abnormalities of her closed-off brain region. Since he couldn't stay and observe her constantly, Jiang Hui had to monitor her mental state herself to prevent further mutation. To this end, he taught her some methods and training to strengthen her mental power and did his best to restore the balance of her brain's energy. Before he left the resident star system again, Jiang Hui's mental exhaustion was completely cured, leaving no hidden dangers—a fact personally confirmed by Michael.

After several adjustments and training sessions based on the plan provided by the other party, she not only improved the flexibility of her mental power, but also stabilized her somewhat unstable mental power barrier.

Jiang Hui even felt that her mental strength seemed to have increased slightly again. Even the high-intensity mental activity she had done a few days ago during mecha training had no effect on her, indicating that she had fully recovered.

I never expected that she would come to watch the game today and be so mentally exhausted after all that disaster. You can imagine how much pressure and exhaustion she was under today... If this drags on any longer, she probably won't be able to hold on for much longer.

However, the female therapist was unaware of her past medical history. The current rudimentary treatment environment also prevented the detailed process of reviewing personal records. Seeing that the symptoms were relatively mild, the therapist breathed a sigh of relief and immediately took out a potion to replenish her mental energy.

Seeing that she didn't speak, the other person thought she was frightened and gently comforted her...

Jiang Hui wasn't really terrified; she was just too exhausted. Even after relaxing and feeling like she and her companions were saved, Jiang Hui still couldn't shake off the brutal scene from before and was slightly lost in thought.

This continued until the mobile treatment point was suddenly opened, and a group of people rushed in.

The therapists at the treatment center have already provided Clarence with temporary first aid and treatment. His condition has now stabilized, and he is just waiting to receive formal treatment at the hospital.

Logically, if there were patients like Clarence, who were in an emergency, at the treatment center, they wouldn't have stopped along the way and would have taken them directly to the nearby military hospital. However, given the current time, it's impossible for them to get to the hospital so quickly, especially since the group that entered bypassed the driver's authority—it's more like they barged in.

When they entered, the therapists had already dispersed to the other end to monitor and analyze Clarence's vital signs to ensure his safety.

Jiang Hui sat on the nearby bed, quietly waiting for her friend to begin treatment.

Suddenly, a group of people entered the cabin. Their unfamiliar yet aggressive aura jolted her out of her reverie. However, there seemed to be a familiar aura mixed in with them. Before she could catch a glimpse of them, they all began to move.

"Jiang Hui... Clarence?!" Although the boy had always seemed rather unsteady, he had never lost control like this before. His hoarse voice sounded like he was about to cry.
