The Most Powerful Brain in the Interstellar Space

Chapter 707 Central Region Developments

A very capable guy recently arrived in central Taiwan, and he has changed the previous chaotic situation and gradually gained momentum.

Although it is slower and less efficient than the southeastern corner, which has quietly accomplished its goals, and somewhat less so compared to the three major powers that are developing in the north, it still has its own development trajectory.

In fact, the central area should have the best view of the entire interior, and it would be much easier to set up there than the corners. However, the Central Plains has always been the most vulnerable to attack, and this place is no exception. The center signifies orthodoxy, but it is also easily noticed by various forces. Occupying this area means accepting challenges from all sides.

Therefore, since the inner circle opened up, the chaos in the central area has never stopped. The number of people has shrunk from hundreds to dozens and now to just over ten. In a short period of time, it has gone through an extremely chaotic period, making it hard to imagine what exactly happened in between.

These dozen or so people emerged from a group of over a hundred people, like a breeding ground for venomous insects. Although each of them only occupied a small area, their methods and fighting spirit were not to be underestimated. Like hungry wolves, they would not hesitate to devour any prey that appeared in front of them.

Therefore, whether it is the North and South or the East and West, the four departments seem to have agreed not to take action against it for the time being, so as not to cause greater chaos. Maintaining this balance is good for now.

However, the external apprehension gave the insiders an opportunity—a powerful figure emerged from within.

Let's call this guy L for short.

He was also a lone soldier.

Speaking of this year's graduates, many of them are single-soldier roles, but they all chose to overstep their bounds and take on other roles. There are countless single-soldier roles that act as commanders, while the commanders themselves are relegated to lower ranks.

Of course, as mentioned before, expertise and job title do not equate to status. As long as one is willing and capable, one can take any position. Take Jiang, for example... she's practically a brick, always ready to be moved wherever needed. When the incident occurred, even the teachers watching were "stunned" by her diverse range of skills.

L is much more straightforward than Jiang Hui. He can't repair mechs or make tools, and his command ability isn't particularly outstanding yet, but his individual attack power is extremely strong, and his mobility is top-notch. Leading about two hundred people, he can easily wreak havoc in the central region.

The dozen or so minor leaders who had initially survived in the central region like venomous insects were decimated, reduced to half their original number in just a few weeks. Now, the opposing force continues its advance, poised to seize a significant portion of the central territory, and is rapidly becoming a major emerging power within the inner region.

L's strategy was simple: to sustain the war through war. It's not that he didn't care about strategy, but facing the central region, which was fragmented by various small forces, too much strategic planning and coordination could easily backfire, because the forces were too dispersed.

The best approach is to unify the forces, conquering one by one, and bringing these scattered forces together, while also instilling a sense of power and deterrence.

L used this brutal method to quickly consolidate a small portion of the central region and gradually penetrate deeper into the territory.

The only downside is that L consolidated his power too quickly, leaving no time for integration. Moreover, L is clearly arrogant and ruthless, making his subordinates both fearful and apprehensive, which ironically reduces their sense of loyalty.

Of course, this wasn't a big deal in L's eyes; it was just that, nothing to say, and there was no need to change it. He always believed that absolute power was supreme, and everything else was illusory.

However, after a period of consolidation, L's team had to temporarily halt their progress. While consolidation wasn't his primary focus, he couldn't completely ignore the situation. The pace had been too rapid, and time needed to be allocated for integration.

So after capturing another minor leader, L convened his first meeting. This meeting was held at L's headquarters. He gathered all the leaders he had defeated, as well as their associates, together... without any concern that these people might be plotting something bad.

Like all individual soldiers, L has a face that blurs the average stats, even appearing somewhat ordinary compared to some highly individualistic soldiers, but this does not diminish his formidable inner strength.

This person clearly had excellent mobility, and the group quickly regrouped. They had set up a temporary meeting room inside the tower for this meeting; although the space was large enough, it felt somewhat crowded with so many people.

However, perhaps because L had personally persuaded each of them, the atmosphere wasn't awkward, just a little heavy. The atmosphere remained exceptionally solemn until L entered the meeting room and took his seat.

L didn't dawdle or beat around the bush; he went straight to the point.

The main theme naturally revolves around the current situation, such as the forces in the other half of the central region that have not yet been recovered, their own sphere of influence and tentative expansion plans, and the situation of their "neighbors" who are currently in front of, behind, and to the sides.

Of course, the focus is on the former.

Although their power has grown considerably, this semi-unified situation is too unstable. They feel that they should quickly integrate the central region to achieve complete unification in order to truly establish themselves. Otherwise, if they are attacked from both sides by powerful enemies, and beset by internal and external troubles, the advantages they have gained through their strong offensive will quickly dissipate.

Many opportunities are truly fleeting.

The second key point is the latter. It's not that they are overconfident, but with L's strength... barring any unforeseen circumstances, they should be able to unify the central region very soon, at which point they will be exposed as a whole to the powerful enemies around them.

As the saying goes, "Know yourself and know your enemy, and you will win every battle." Before they could act, they first needed to understand the situation of the powerful enemies surrounding them. They couldn't just go and die without knowing anything about them, could they?

So after spending a precious half-star to finalize the expansion plan, the rest of the time was spent exchanging and discussing information about these neighbors.

The three closest to them were the three big shots from the north... actually, there were originally two.

However, as they rose to power, the two in the north inexplicably had some disagreements and split into three factions, which are currently at a stalemate.

Therefore, they had no time to worry about the surrounding situation; otherwise, L's sudden emergence and subsequent conquest of the central region would have been immediately discovered and intercepted. As the two closest regions, L's birth and growth primarily threatened them.

Then there's the west. It's also a bit chaotic there, with all sorts of leaders, big and small, in disarray, but the commotion is much smaller and less noticeable compared to the other areas. For now, no one is making any unusual moves, so L and the others don't need to worry for the time being.
