"Is it the Wanwei Star we know?" Jiang Hui's face was full of question marks.

Clarence was a straightforward man, always speaking his mind and never doubting himself. He looked at the brightly colored planet and confirmed, "Yes."

Judging from its appearance, it is indeed that ubiquitous, resource-rich planet with a year-round spring-like climate and excellent coordinates. How could this planet not have been claimed by anyone, but instead be put up for auction by a trading company?!

Are all the forces near the Beta Nebula blind? Just watching this piece of meat fly away—

Even someone like Jiang Hui, who entered the field later in life, clearly noticed something was wrong, let alone Clarence.

Five-person group
Theofele: [@Xiuzhu, why is this planet experiencing outflow?]

Xiuzhu: [It was our mistake, really. Dealing with that annoying rat without damaging the nearby utensils turned out to be just a minor accident caused by a transaction. My father knows about it, so don't worry, it's still under control.]

Jiang Hui: [It seems the situation is far more chaotic than I imagined.]

Even Commander-in-Chief Zhou had times when he hesitated to act rashly.

While they were having their quiet conversation, things outside had already erupted into chaos. If the meeting room were a pot, it was now boiling over, filled with a mix of positive and negative emotions: excitement, worry, greed, anger, and more, sweeping everyone in and creating a turbulent wave.

That's Wanwei Star, a terrestrial planet in the permanent star system, one of the famous mineral-producing planets in the PyB Nebula Cluster. It has produced several important minerals, and although more than half of them have been mined, it has supported several families who have owned the planet over the past few thousand years.

According to the Interstellar Resources Development Bureau's assessment of this planet, nearly three-quarters of its area remains undeveloped, making it entirely possible to discover other minerals. After all, a planet capable of cultivating several types of biomass minerals must possess a unique energy field, and new minerals are highly likely to emerge even before full development.

Of course, the reason why Wanwei Star is so famous is not only because of its mineral resources. Although mineral-rich planets are rare, there are countless resident star systems, and Wanwei is just a slightly larger one. The reason why Wanwei is so well-known among many old and new stars is because of its name.

The planet Wanwei wasn't always called Wanwei. The name came from its first owner, General Wanwei, one of the most formidable generals recorded in early human history, renowned for his military exploits and leadership in numerous victories. Due to the passage of time, much of this history has been lost, and people no longer know when or under what name Wanwei became General Wanwei's private planet.

Although this planet left no record of its beginning, it left a significant mark when it first appeared in historical records.

At the end of the Third Star Era, humanity, in the nascent Alpha Universe, faced an unprecedented siege by hordes of star beasts. General Wanwei intercepted them from tens of light-years away, leading his troops in a desperate and bloody battle, ultimately extending the human defenses further. However, General Wanwei, fighting wounded throughout, succumbed to the inevitable depletion of his physical and mental energy, passing away three days after the war at the age of seventy-one. At that time, the average human lifespan was already over two hundred years; seventy-one was merely the prime of life for a military officer.
He died relatively peacefully, without any regrets. Due to his physical condition at the time, he couldn't move freely and could only settle on Wanwei Star, the closest star to the final battleground. He ultimately died there. Wanwei was a large family, and a hero like the Wanwei General should naturally be buried in his family's territory in the central star sector. However, this general, who had fought all his life, left behind some last words about his final resting place.

According to his last wishes, the general's remains were buried on the planet Wanwei, and he declared that his remains would not be moved back until the war between humanity and the star beasts was won. His descendants renamed the planet Wanwei and guarded it for several star eras in accordance with their ancestor's instructions.

Perhaps out of a desire not to disobey their ancestors, this sizable planet did not develop during this period, and even became desolate and submerged in the gradually flourishing history of human civilization.

What truly made it famous was an accident that occurred thousands of years into the history of this planet. It was a monster uprising that almost overlapped with history, and then people discovered two rare minerals on this undeveloped planet, with a fairly high yield.

Theoretically, once such resources are discovered, they should naturally be developed by the party that owns the planet. This is the greatest right held by the private planet owner, and if managed well, it could become another major pillar industry for the family.

Unfortunately, as the saying goes, "wealth doesn't last three generations." Over several star eras, the Wanwei family had long since declined, its population dwindling to just a few collateral branches. If even these few failed to carry on the family line, the family would truly be extinct. They didn't even know their ancestors possessed such a remarkable asset; otherwise, why would they have waited until their generation to sell it?

Knowing they had acquired ownership of a planet, and lacking the ambition to revitalize their family line, they were quickly coaxed into signing off on Wanwei Star. The planet fell into the hands of a prominent family, changing hands several times, but this didn't hinder its development. Wanwei Star unexpectedly proved rich in resources, yielding substantial mineral reserves for the ruling region over the millennia.

The story takes place approximately a century ago, around the time of the most recent change of ownership on Planet Wanwei. The new planetary ruler led his people on a tour of the southern region, which had been deemed resource-poor, and surprisingly discovered a star-level high-energy metal in the shallow layers there.

This immediately caused a stir. Star-level materials have always been in short supply in interstellar space; mining is finite, and prices remain high. The sudden appearance of a new mining planet was bound to attract attention.

Many were even willing to pay exorbitant prices to acquire this planet, but the person who brought Wanwei back under their control this time was clearly not short of money, and all the forces or individuals who wanted to acquire it were turned away. Afterwards, Wanwei Star successively developed many high-grade mineral resources, firmly establishing its reputation as a "treasure planet."

In short, this planet is quite famous, with excellent resources and a superior geographical location. More importantly, it's very close to Planet 732. How could the Zhou family allow such a planet to drift away? It's strange that it would drift away from their own home.

However, it's not surprising to hear Zhou Xiuwen say that; it seems to be another "unspeakable" story.
