I've been tinkering with the mouse lately.

Last spring, the mouse I had used for more than ten years broke. I bought a cheap triangle mouse, which worked fine. I bought the Logitech 304 at first. It was recommended by a friend and was also praised online. After I bought it, how can I say it? Everything else is good, except the scroll wheel, which is hard. It gets stuck every time I use it for an entire afternoon, and my index and middle fingers hurt. I thought it was a quality issue, so I ordered another one, and found that they all have the same problem.

Later I learned that gamers need this kind of segmentation and can switch equipment. But I don't need it, I want a smoother feel. So I bought a 720. It's an office mouse. It feels good and has many functions, but the DPI is only 1000. It's a bit low for my 4k monitor.

So I tried again. Because the triangular mouse worked pretty well, I bought a regular mouse from the same brand. When I bought it, I saw the dpi on the page was 1600, but when I used it, it was not as good as 720. I checked online and it was 1000...

Well, how should I put it? The expensive ones are not as good as I thought. Maybe I didn't pay enough for them. The cheap ones are actually OK, but they also have some shortcomings, maybe because they are too cheap.

I spent a lot of time and effort on this mouse. Although I can return it within 7 days without any reason, it is still troublesome. And I always feel guilty. After opening the packaging, even if I clean it and put it back, I always feel that I have made a second-hand product, which is embarrassing.

Especially when I bought a mouse from Taobao Miaosuda, the pads on the bottom were severely scratched and there were gray stains. It was obvious that it was returned. I decided to return it on the spot, but the customer service said it was a normal phenomenon after the factory test. I used the mouse for two days and it didn't have such serious scratches. This is a lie.

Then I returned it for being dirty, but it was rejected that night, saying it was in good condition. Actually, the scroll wheel button also had a problem, it always wouldn't press, but I didn't dare to say anything. I started another 7-day no-reason return, but fortunately I had a good credit, so the system directly agreed to return it. Now it's at the warehouse over there, and I don't know what to say, don't bother me anymore, I unpacked it and packed it back, saying it's useless.

This morning, I got a message from Taobao saying that I had good credit and could get a quick refund. I clicked on it, but then they said that after-sales service had changed and they would not refund me and asked the merchant to check the product... Isn't this a joke? It's better not to mention this.

In short, the experience is terrible. I thought it was similar to JD.com's self-operated products, but it turned out to be terrible. JD.com is expensive for a reason.

Take a few days off first. Your hand won’t hurt these two days. Then wait and see. There’s no rush.

At times like this, I miss physical stores so much. I can see and feel the product. I open the box and take a look. If the product feels good and the price is right, I will just take it away. I will not go back to the store unless there is a quality issue.

E-commerce is convenient now, but you have to get the goods in your hands to see and feel them. This virtually increases the experience costs, which are all included in the price.
