In contrast, the Vinaya sect places the most emphasis on precepts, and has many rules for monks in their words and deeds. They believe that they must first practice the precepts before they can achieve higher perfection.

One believes in Amitabha Buddha and the other believes in Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva.

And the biggest conflict between the two factions is that they are mainly competing for low-level believers to start a family. The third-level teachings say that giving can save them, and the Pure Land sect can go to the Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss by saying the name of Buddha. The two have been fighting for many years because of this, especially since the Sui Dynasty, the Three Tier Sect has been rich and has developed rapidly.
