Lin Xixue thought, just now the prison said, "If a pilgrim sees a strange fish that does not exist, he must offer incense to the strange fish", and the disciples in the temple need to stop it.

Why did the prison prevent pilgrims from offering incense to strange fish?

Temple dojo incense offerings to pilgrims
Fragmented clues quickly reorganized in her mind, pointing to an obvious answer.

Incense has a specific meaning to them in this world!

It is as small as Wuzeng Temple, which also enshrines statues. The master and the embroidered empress used the big witch blessing as a medium to solve problems for the villagers of Linghu Village, and at the same time received the villagers' offering incense.

The larger ones like this three-dimensional view actually rely on the pilgrims around to come to offer incense spontaneously and obtain a steady stream of incense offerings.

Incense is meaningful to them, although Lin Xixue can't say what this meaning is at the moment—maybe it can enhance their strength or something?

If this conjecture is true, then another inference can be drawn.

Since the incense has a specific meaning to them, the prison house wants to prevent pilgrims from offering incense to these strange fish, which means that this strange fish can also be blessed by this incense.

The strange fish that appeared in the pool is actually the same thing as Tianzun, Leizu, and Chenghuang!
If you want to understand this point, you need to answer a more important question, that is, why does this strange fish appear in this ternary view.

The supervisor said that the strange fish was an illusion caused by the disciple's unstable mood, which was obviously an excuse made up at will, without any reference value.

The real reason is most likely that this strange fish appeared in the pond to compete for incense.

Based on these two conjectures, Lin Xixue tried to restore the whole picture of the whole incident by combining the fragmented information obtained before.

In the past one or two months, a certain kind of strange fish has frequently appeared in the pond of Sanyuan Temple, and the meat of this strange fish will appear in the kitchen for no reason.

Once this kind of strange fish appears, it will attract pilgrims to offer incense, thus competing for incense with the existence that Sanyuan Temple really enshrines.

On the one hand, the existence of the Sanyuan Temple requires incense, so the mountain cannot be closed, but the pilgrims must continue to offer incense. But while offering incense, one needs to be on guard against this strange fish snatching the incense.

On the other hand, all disciples who have taken refuge in Guannei will have their minds corroded after seeing this strange fish.

So the prison said that if you see this strange fish, you need to get the Breaking Barrier Pill by yourself, so as to suppress this kind of influence on the mind.

As for eating this fish, maybe the mind will be eroded at a deeper level. After all, it is not difficult to guess from the conversation in the back of the mountain that Hao Zhi went crazy after eating this fish.

But there is one thing that makes no sense in this conjecture. If eating fish meat will really cause more serious erosion, why does the supervisory institute only let the disciples take the barrier-breaking pill by themselves?
It doesn't seem to be much different from the solution when seeing a strange fish.

After thinking about it for a while, another event appeared in her mind - erasing the memories of several Taoist boys through the Wangchen Pill.

On that day, I and the other Taoist boys just heard the words "the Lei Zu we enshrined is a fake", so Gao Gong tricked him into taking the Wangchen Pill to erase his memory.

It can be seen that Gao Gong didn't want this speech to spread.

Now the prison said that if you feel that you can eat fish, you can eat the Pozhang Pill by yourself, and you can't talk nonsense in the temple to influence other people.

Lin Xixue suddenly realized that the two incidents had something in common - what the Supervisory Academy and Gao Gong didn't want to be spread was actually some kind of "cognition of abnormality", not the abnormality itself!

It doesn't matter if there is a strange fish in the pond, but if the strange fish is seen by disciples and pilgrims and spread, problems will occur.

Because seeing strange fish itself is a kind of cognition of abnormality.Informing other people of this abnormality will cause the "cognition of abnormal phenomena" to spread.

It doesn't matter if you eat fish, but if you spread this abnormal cognition, problems will occur.

Therefore, not only exposure to abnormalities will erode the mind, perhaps even more frightening is that after exposure to abnormalities, the spread of "abnormal cognition" will trigger a larger-scale group erosion.

But assuming that the "cognition of abnormality" is to be hindered, it is reasonable for the Supervisory Court to declare that "abnormality is normal".

For example, instead of declaring that there are no spiritual fish in the pool, it is better to directly declare that there are spiritual fish in the pool, so that everyone will naturally avoid the "cognitive abnormality"?
Instead of saying that it is abnormal to have fish in the kitchen, why not just say that we would buy fish regularly, so that everyone will not feel that there is any problem when they eat fish.

Is it because the Superintendent's IQ is not enough, so he didn't think of this method; or is there some information that he didn't have that made the Supervising Yuan not make such a claim?

She can't explain this question now.

But no matter what, judging from Hao Zhi's example, once the abnormality itself is recognized, it will cause a certain degree of erosion to the mind.

Before the erosion is completely completed, it may be possible to delay the erosion process through the Wangchen Pill, or the Breaking Barrier Pill that the prison said.

And after this kind of erosion is completely completed, there is a high probability that it will be irreversible.

Just like that Hao Zhi, who originally converted to the lineage of Shenxiao, but suddenly went crazy after the erosion was completed, thinking that the Leizu he enshrined was a fake.

In fact, at this time, his mind has been completely eroded by the strange fish, and he continues to spread this "cognition of abnormality" by yelling.

So the prison directly transformed him into a soldier of Leibu, because from the perspective of the prison, Hao Zhi, whose mind was eroded by the strange fish, was already a hostile existence, and he was completely hopeless.

That day when I caused a commotion in Xinliang City, Sanyuan Temple almost refined me into a Taoist soldier, probably for similar reasons.

After sorting it out in this way, it is easy to explain why there are pilgrims releasing strange fish in the lotus pond.

She had known before that these weird existences also had territorial divisions among each other, and they couldn't easily enter each other's territory on weekdays, unless his chosen agent entered first.

These pilgrims who released the strange fish are obviously the chosen agents of the existence represented by the strange fish.

The reason why I want my disciples to pay attention to the pilgrim who released the strange fish is obviously to catch this agent and eliminate future troubles!
So now the situation that Sanyuanguan is facing is about to emerge.

While "Leizu in Confucianism's disguise" was being robbed of incense by this strange fish, this strange fish also spread the cognition of abnormalities in various ways, eroding the minds of the disciples in the temple, resulting in the reduction of disciples.

Under the ebb and flow, in the end, the three-dimensional concept will change its course in a short time, and the incense will be completely stolen by this strange fish.

The supervisor of the Sanyuan Temple was aware of this potential crisis, so while refusing to close the mountain, it also temporarily passed on the teachings to more Taoist boys, so as to offset the impact of the reduction of disciples.

Lin Xixue gradually understood everything, and felt the joy of breaking the puzzle for a long time.

So she turned around and saw a strange fish hiding deep in the lotus pond in the lotus pond.

A strange fish that feels very familiar to her
