Chapter 2304: Movement Selection and Collision

Chapter 2304: Movement Selection and Collision

"Dongfang Shuo mentioned that there are conflicts between those who are good at the art of movement. I don't know if what he is planning conflicts with mine. Can he persuade Your Majesty to practice the art of movement? If Your Majesty practices the art of movement, will he conflict with Your Majesty again? If Your Majesty conflicts with me, what should I do?"

Dong Zhongshu stayed temporarily in Zhang's house.

After learning that Zhang Xuezhou went to the palace, he felt somewhat uneasy, as he felt that the situation he faced was completely different from what he had imagined when he came to Chang'an City.

Dong Zhongshu practiced the art of luck only in the hope that his chance would appear, thus leading him into the realm of his ideals.

He had never thought that the King of Huainan had a profound level of luck, nor did he know that Zhang Xuezhou had already practiced luck. The Han Dynasty was not lacking in emperors practicing luck as he had initially imagined, and this was a perfect opportunity to steal luck.

On the contrary, the Han Dynasty was strong and capable in transporting and repairing goods.

It would be fine if the King of Huainan only lived in a corner. At most, the other party controlled the territory of Huainan and manipulated Jinchang and others.

Once the King of Huainan ascends Chang'an and takes control of the Han Dynasty, the Jiangxia Kingdom, which was once on equal footing with the Huainan Kingdom, will most likely be under the control of the other side, and the successful Dong Zhongshu will inevitably be discovered, making his life or death unpredictable.

Once Dong Zhongshu had achieved success in the art of transportation, there was no turning back. Even if he didn't want to compete, he had to do so, at least until he realized his wish.

When it comes to matters involving future and life and death, no one can be at ease, and Dong Zhongshu is no exception.

There are opponents that must be contended with, and there are also partners whose answers are difficult to know.

Not to mention the King of Huainan, even Zhang Xuezhou and others made Dong Zhongshu feel that things were difficult to handle.

This is different from previous cooperation. The combination of skilled operators may produce a stronger effect, but conflicts will inevitably bring about numerous obstacles and even lead to internal strife.

This extreme cooperation model makes it difficult to judge the scale, and even Zhang Xuezhou suffered a bloody nose in this matter.

As long as he thought about Shen Peigong, whose stinking body was buried nine feet deep, the Empress Dowager who was still alive, and Zhang Xuezhou, whose skull was pried open and destroyed, Dong Zhongshu felt a sudden palpitation in his heart.

"If we defeat the King of Huainan in the future, we may be faced with a situation where our true intentions are fully exposed. In a competition of martial arts, it is difficult for our cultivation strength to play a role!"

The emperor who occupies the orthodox court, Dong Zhongshu who controls the Jiangdu State, and Zhang Xuezhou who relies on the new emperor to absorb luck like a silkworm. The relationship between the three is difficult to explain, and the level of their luck is also difficult to guess.

For Dong Zhongshu, the previous directional events became difficult to understand.

He walked back and forth in Zhang's house, feeling uneasy in his heart.

The huge city of Chang'an and the vast territory of the Han Dynasty seemed to have become a stage for only a few people at this moment, while the others were just spectators who found it difficult to fit in.

But that's the art of operation.

One is luck, two is destiny, three is feng shui, and four is cultivation. The order among them does not come out of thin air, but it is special.

There are four factors in spiritual practice, and luck is the greatest opportunity that creates everything. The art of physiognomy gives enough time to seek opportunities. A Feng Shui location helps people achieve twice the result with half the effort in spiritual practice and also gives them the ability to protect themselves.

Most of the great monks in the Three Realms benefited from luck, fate and feng shui.

There is the Heavenly Court which occupies the destiny of the sky, there is the Immortal Court which occupies the longevity, and there are the masters of the major holy places which occupy the secret lands of Feng Shui.

Historical events and the major forces in the three realms have brought about an almost unobstructed judgment.

As it was difficult to practice horoscopes and occupy a Feng Shui site, Dong Zhongshu's only option to realize his ideal was luck.

Even though he was not an emperor vying for the throne, Dong Zhongshu was still seeking reasonable and appropriate ways to promote it.

Fate seemed to have played a big joke on him, and Dong Zhongshu came here with great enthusiasm. He never expected this result. "Two elders, I am sorry for disturbing you for staying in your house for many days. This little money is my gift of thanks, I hope you will accept it!"

Dong Zhongshu came along the track.

As he was unsure whether his skills and Zhang Xuezhou's were in collision or conflict, Dong Zhongshu finally chose to leave Chang'an City again to reduce his own influence as much as possible.

He came rather suddenly, and left quite suddenly after thinking it through.

Apart from a ten-liang silver ingot, Dong Zhongshu left nothing else. He even stopped going to the Confucius Temple and never continued to talk with Kong Anguo, the descendant of Confucius.

His journey to Chang'an City came to an end here.

"If Dongfang Shuo can use one-third of his luck to push forward the previously agreed matters, then it can be regarded as laying the foundation in advance. It will not be a loss for me to send Gongsun Hong to Chang'an City in the future. If I have a bad influence on him in Chang'an City, it will delay things. I dare not go to Huainan to practice luck, but Lu Wangshu is my favorite student. He is a brave man and can go to Huainan to investigate, or to Chang'an City to seek contact..."

When Dong Zhongshu walked out of the Chang'an city gate again with the crowd, he looked back at this magnificent city, and then walked towards Jiangdu without looking back.

After only walking a few dozen steps, Dong Zhongshu met a Confucian disciple who was doing business, and thus got the convenience of a carriage.

Practicing the art of movement has many conveniences and does not require any preparation. Dong Zhongshu had the convenience of carriage and horse when he traveled far, and he could see passing by on a boat when he looked across the water. The ingenuity of this is beyond words.

But this is only the superficial benefit brought by the art of movement. The real benefit is the unity of man and nature that Dong Zhongshu has always pursued.

Whenever he pushes his skills forward and his realm rises, his mind will be in the state of unity between man and nature.

If he could guide the Han Dynasty to the supremacy of Confucianism, Dong Zhongshu would have the ability to control the great unification after reaching the true self realm, and thus he could guide the unity of nature and man to exert extraordinary strength in any place within the Han Dynasty.

He sat in the carriage, swaying and moving further away.

In Zhang's residence in Chang'an City, a horse-drawn carriage from the marquis's mansion shuttled through the streets and finally stopped at the door of Zhang's residence.

"There are a lot of people in your house!"

The new emperor changed his clothes and left the palace again. When he entered Zhang's house, he saw many faces, young and old, crowded in the house, and many of them were whispering.

He looked around and saw many people chanting in low voices at the patterns of human faces in the house, and the crowd was moving back and forth.

This made the new emperor a little curious, but he obviously would not let this curiosity delay the main purpose of his visit.

When discussing the relationship between Zhang Xuezhou and Dong Zhongshu, Zhang Xuezhou mentioned Dong Zhongshu's teaching of art and talked about the sage's great unification.

But everything is no different from the governing policies that Zhang Xuezhou had mentioned before. What Zhang Xuezhou said is beneficial, but there are many troubles in implementing it.

If things like strengthening the country through agriculture and warfare, building academies, and educating the Han people with Confucian ideas were measures taken by the imperial court, then Dong Zhongshu's ideas about the unity of man and nature and the great unification of sages would bring real benefits to themselves.

If the new emperor were asked to choose the benefit brought by the unity of man and nature, he would use the word "like divine help" to describe it.

According to Zhang Xuezhou, the thinking of cultivators in the celestial state is clearer and the effectiveness of their magic is much stronger, which is better than taking any elixir.

More importantly, the new emperor keenly realized that the state of unity between man and nature might bring an opportunity to impact the state of egocentrism.

He was just chatting with Zhang Xuezhou and constantly looking for ways to resign from office, but he didn't expect that he would be able to find an opportunity to achieve higher levels of cultivation.

However, the unity of man and nature mentioned by Zhang Xuezhou was too difficult to achieve. Even if Zhang Xuezhou handed over the secret, the new emperor could only see it but not touch it.

This made him change his clothes and quickly leave the palace and rush to Zhang's house, ready to visit this great scholar who was driven out of Chang'an City by Shen Peigong.
