Chapter 264
Zhao Tun's short sword is Mo Xie, a famous sword in the Spring and Autumn Period.

The most famous swords in the world are probably the best in the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period.

The famous swords of the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period are mostly those made by Ou Yezi, Gan Jiang, and Feng Huzi.

Chun Jun, Gan Jiang, Mo Xie, Zhan Lu, Ju Que, Sheng Xie, Yu Zang, Tai Ah, Gong Bu, Qixing Long Yuan.

Among them, Juque, Chengying, Chunjun, Yuzang, Tai'a, Zhanlu, Longyuan, and Gongbu are collectively called "Eight Famous Swords".

It is also called "Five Swords of Yue" together with Zhanlu, Chunjun, Shengxie and Yuzang.

Yuzang, also known as Yuchang, is a very short sword, or dagger.

Zhanlu Sword, Juque Sword, Chunjun Sword, Shengxie Sword, Yuzang Sword, these five swords are from Ou Yezi. Among the swords forged by Ou Yezi alone, Zhanlu is the first.

As for Tai'a, Gongbu, and Qixing Longyuan, Ou Yezi and the generals were co-cast, and the generals were mainly used for casting.

Seven Star Longyuan is the Longquan Sword.

According to legend, Ou Yezi and Gan will forge this sword, chisel open Mount Ci, release the stream in the mountain, and lead it to the seven pools surrounded by the seven big dippers beside the sword casting furnace, which are called "Seven Stars".

After the sword is completed, looking down at the sword body is like climbing a high mountain and looking down into the abyss. It is misty and deep as if there is a giant dragon lying on it, so it is called "Longyuan".

In the Tang Dynasty, because of avoiding the taboo of the great ancestor Li Yuan, Longyuan Sword changed "Yuan" to "Spring", called "Seven Star Longquan", referred to as Longquan Sword.

"Book of Jin Volume 36 Zhang Hua Biography", the Western Jin Dynasty Zhongshu made Zhang Hua proficient in astronomy, and he watched the sky at night and saw a purple aura appearing between Dousu and Niusu on the 28th night.

He speculated that this purple qi was caused by the radiance of worldly treasures, so he asked Lei Huan from Yuzhang to study it together.

Lei Huan carefully looked at the sky, agreed with Zhang Hua, and pointed out that it was caused by sword energy, and the location of the sword should be in the Fengcheng area of Yuzhang County.

Zhang Hua appointed Lei Huan as the magistrate of Fengcheng County, and secretly searched for the sword. After Lei Huan took office, after some investigation, it was determined that the sword was buried underground in the county prison. After digging for more than four feet, the diggers found a jade A purple light shrouded the outside of the jade box.

Lei Huan asked the diggers to take up the jade box and open it. There were two swords in the box, Long Yuan and Tai Ah.

Wang Bo's Preface to the Tengwang Pavilion, "Wuhua Tianbao, Longguang Shoots the Market of Bullfighting", is all about this allusion.

There are three versions of the relationship between Ou Yezi and the general, master and apprentice, senior brother, Weng son-in-law, Weng son-in-law, it is said that Mo Xie is the daughter of Ou Yezi, and he will marry him as his wife.

There are two versions of Gan Jiang Moxie's pair of male and female swords.

It is said that the king of Chu ordered the generals to forge swords, which took three years to complete. The swords were divided into male and female.

Then the general hid the male sword in the mountain and went there with only the female sword. As expected, he was bestowed to death by the king of Chu. Later, the general's son grew up and learned the truth from his mother Moxie. He went up the mountain to find the male sword hidden by the general, and killed him This is the legend of Meijianchi.

Another way of saying is that Gan will forge the sword for the king of Wu.

In order to refine a sword that satisfies King Wu, the general selected some rare and rare materials, known as the iron essence of the five mountains and the gold hero of the six harmony.

But these treasures have been smelted for a long time but there is no change, which makes him very impatient, because if the sword cannot be smelted, the husband and wife will definitely die.

Mo Xie said at this time, the master once said that all precious materials for sword making must be sacrificed by humans before they can be melted, and only in this way can a good sword be successfully forged.

She cut off her hair and other things, and threw them into the stove, and then asked her disciples to burn the coals with all their strength. At this moment, she jumped, threw herself into the stove, and sacrificed the sword with her body.

Those precious materials that could not be melted began to melt slowly, and soon turned into a liquid. With tears in his eyes, Gan Jiang cast them into two precious swords.

The two swords came out one after the other, the one that came out first was the Yang sword, named Gan Jiang, and the one that came out later was the Yin sword, named Mo Xie.

The general hid the yang sword, and then handed over the yin sword. Although Mo Xie was a yin sword, it was extremely sharp. King Wu tested the sword with a solid stone, and the sword fell open. King Wu was overjoyed and rewarded the general with a large sum of money.

However, according to the various historical materials that have been handed down, the first type should be just a legend, and the second type is closer to reality.

The famous swords in the world come out of the Spring and Autumn Period, and the famous swords of the Spring and Autumn Period are Chunjun, Ganjiang, Moxie, Zhanlu, Juque, Shengxie, Yuzang, Tai'a, Gongbu, and Qixing Longyuan.

Ganjiang Moxie's two swords are the top of the top, if he wants to find an existence that can surpass these two swords, he will probably have to push forward.

Although later generations also had some swords that cut iron like mud, but because some sword casting materials were exhausted during the Warring States Period, even if the swords of later generations were sharp enough, they would not exceed the swords cast in the Spring and Autumn Period.

These famous swords flowed with the long river of history, like the brilliant stars, once shining for a while, and then the dynasties changed, the time cycle, and gradually disappeared.

After the founding of the Great Song Dynasty, there were only famous swords in the world during the Renzong Dynasty, namely Zhanlu and Juque, but these two swords did not exist for a long time. After only a dozen years, they disappeared like yellow cranes, and there was no news about them.

Zhao Tun's Mo Xie sword was obtained from Emperor Taizong's arsenal.

It is the most precious item in Emperor Taizong's arsenal.

Even Wang Yanzhang's armor and weapons, and Li Cunxiao's fists, feet, guns and clubs are all inferior to this sword.

There is actually another story about the origin of this sword.

In the third year of Taizong's accession to the throne, that is, the third year of Taiping Xingguo, Qian Chu, king of Wuyue, and Chen Hongjin, the governor of Pinghai, entered the court successively and arrived in Tokyo.

Chen Hongjin was originally a Jiedu envoy under Li Yu, the empress lord of the Southern Tang Dynasty, who controlled the two states of Zhangzhou and Quanzhou. After the Southern Tang Dynasty was pacified, he was very disturbed. Emperor Taizong of Song Dynasty granted him the mansion of a senior official.

Qian Chu was very anxious when he saw Chen Hongjin donating the land and territory. At this time, Wuyue Kingdom was a vassal state of Song Dynasty and had not yet been incorporated into the territory of Song Dynasty. I am willing to take off my armor and return to the fields, and enjoy the rest of my life, but Taizong forbids it.

Qian Chu was so anxious that he couldn't help it, and his subordinates said: "The court's decree is self-evident. If the king doesn't accept the soil, disaster will come!"

Qian Chu thought about it before and after, and finally had no choice but to present the land of the thirteen prefectures of Wuyue to the Song court.

Song Taizong greatly praised Qian Chu, and then made a decree to make Qian Chu the king of Huaihai under the control of Huainan Jiedu envoy, and all of Qian Chu's children were given official positions.

From then on, Wuyue Kingdom was acquired by Qian Yu, a total of five generations, who ruled for 81 years and died, and the southeast area was completely occupied by the Song Dynasty.

This Mo Xie sword is an ancestral item of the Qian family of Wuyue Kingdom.

Qian Chu knew that Taizong was fond of martial arts, so when he offered his land, he also offered this sword, which Taizong regarded as a treasure.

But this Mo Xie is a dagger, narrow and delicate, not easy to wear.

Therefore, Emperor Taizong did not carry it with him on weekdays, but only kept it in his bedroom.

Later, Emperor Taizong failed in two Northern Expeditions, so disheartened, he sang, danced and had fun every day, even with guns and sticks.

This Moxie sword was sealed in the arsenal, marked No. [-], and it was the most precious item in the entire arsenal.

Later, the disciples of the royal family of the Song Dynasty were not interested in martial arts. For more than a hundred years, no one opened the arsenal to find things.

It was not until Zhao Tun opened the arsenal that the Mo Xie sword was seen again.
