Chapter 1748, Section 381: Fighting
"Where have you been?"

Sparks flew from the enormous lava golem's mouth, and the temperature in the entire space rose by tens of degrees as it opened.

"I met an interesting little guy."

Compared to the other five terrifying beings, Lilith, the commander of the Sixth Legion, appeared petite and delicate.

"What does this have to do with me?"

The first-row throne closest to the main seat is enormous, with a black silhouette opening that extends outwards as if carrying eight claws.

“No, just my people.” The Sixth Legion Commander, the Succubus Queen Lilith, lazily coiled her heart-shaped tail around her throne, her fingertips twirling the emotions she had gathered from Annan.

A barely perceptible gray, it's not afraid of itself. One-third blue, indicating its curiosity. Two-thirds yellow...

"What's the important business?"

"I've already told you everything, what can I do if you don't believe me?" She chuckled, resting her chin on her hand, her whip-like tail wrapping around her arm like a thorny vine.

"You want me to believe that the humans hiding in Middle-earth actually want to fight us?" The second-row figure, a giant silhouette whose form resembled a human magnified many times, slowly said, "Lilith, I admit that your cleverness might work on the devil, but it's useless against humans."

"Since we're going to launch a general offensive, let's wage all-out war against them!"

The raging Second Legion Commander, Balrog, interrupted their conversation, his thunderous roar echoing through the fiery hall: "My servants have arrived at that swamp and can melt their laughable walls at any moment!"

……

"The Sixth Army Commander likes order, and showing chaos in front of her will not earn you any more favor."

"Okay, I'll put away my chaotic behavior."

The succubus bloodline did have some effect on me, seemingly amplifying my desires. This manifested as an insatiable curiosity, the ability to chat with anyone, a dragon-like greed, and a constant urge to tell lewd jokes.

In the past, I would never have dared to be choked while still chatting idly.

Hopefully, Prince Aidan won't misunderstand this as his true nature.

"Ai..."

“Just call me Graymist,” Prince Aidan said, deliberately severing ties with his past self. “Stay away from her.”

"why?"

"I'm worried you'll be deceived by that woman." Aidan's words sounded like those of a woman who longs for someone but cannot have them, speaking to a man who already has a lover.

However, it is a title used to refer to the succubus queen.

Annan realized that he was just acting eccentrically, not just infatuated: "You underestimate me. Do you think I would be so easily distracted by a woman?"

"Women might not, but other races might."

"You still understand me."

After a few casual words, the basement suddenly became quiet.

Annan never expected Aidan to still be alive, and Aidan never expected to see Annan again.

Annan had many questions, such as how he came back from the dead, how he was still involved with the Chaos Cult, and the biggest question: was Aidan an enemy or a friend at this moment?

“I never expected we’d meet under these circumstances, Succubus Annan?” Aidan spoke first.

Annan continued, "I realized that humanity has its limits, so I'm not going to be human anymore. Aidan, I've experienced the joy of chaos, let's turn this world upside down together!"

“I am a citizen of the Empire,” Prince Aidan said suddenly, watching Annan’s performance quietly.

“What…?” Anan was caught off guard.

“Otherwise, why would I help you conceal your identity and cooperate with Albek?” Prince Aidan shook his head and sighed. “I just didn’t expect you to actually submit to Chaos. I didn’t believe the rumors that you were colluding with the Skaven before, but now it seems that you have been a member of the Chaos faction all along.”

"Ahem, I was actually testing you just now. Albek and I are undercover agents who infiltrated the area."

"Ha, Annan, you're still as naive as ever... You've been fooled. I'm still me, I haven't changed at all."

Prince Aidan's lips curled into a smile as he turned and walked out. "I'll go tell everyone about your and Albek's identities right now..."

Annan stared blankly at Prince Aidan's departing figure, then suddenly lunged at him from behind!
……

"...Frozen County will cooperate with the Chaos Cult, but you know the consequences of leaking information." "Don't confuse us with the Chaos Madmen."

The man in the imperial official's attire smiled: "I trust you, Albek."

"Call me a traitor."

“Come on, we’ve been friends for over a decade.” He made a familiar gesture and reached out to pat Albek on the shoulder, his hand pausing for a moment on the coarse gray fur before finally patting it down.

Albek didn't react. He withdrew his hand, wiped it with the hem of his clothes in disgust, and then said, "I find it strange. Isn't that the famous Prince Aidan? How could he know a succubus, especially a male one?"

“I don’t know him well, and I don’t care,” Albek said.

If there's one thing the two have in common, it's probably that they were both traitors to the High King.

"He's not one of your Chaotic Cult, is he?"

Albek shook his head: "It shouldn't be."

The man's face was grim. He had been sent by the lord to negotiate cooperation with the Chaos Cult and had secretly followed them to the secret stronghold. He thought no one would notice, but he never expected that the ratman would suddenly lead outsiders in.

He felt uneasy, as he was a close confidant of the lord and many people recognized him.

"It saw me."

The Albek rat-man's eyes fell on the man: "What do you want to say?"

"We need to find out who that succubus is."

Albek did not refuse and led him deeper into the area.

“Take me with you.” Another elite, Rainman, came over.

They arrived at the basement together, pushed open the door—and were met with two people fighting.

“It seems it’s not what you thought at all,” Albek said.

The man was speechless, but Rainman stepped forward and said, "Stop!"

"You think I'll stop just because you tell me to?" Annan seized the opportunity to throw a punch, hitting Prince Aidan in the corner of his eye, who had stopped fighting as a result.

He's disliked that face for a long time, and he doesn't know what's so funny about it all day!

It's Olme who's shameful. Olme is just right. What does it have to do with Annan?

"I told you to stop...didn't you hear me?!"

The Rain Man was furious, and the air in the basement instantly became damp and sticky.

Annan felt a strong sense of crisis and instinctively covered his neck.

wow-

In the blink of an eye, the pure water hand that had formed in front of Annan was precisely slapped away.

"What?! It actually predicted my attack!?" Rainman exclaimed.

Annan looked at the long-haired, wet ghostly figure that looked like it had just crawled out of a well and sneered, "Heh, the same trick won't work on me a third time!"

Why the third time?

"Because it worked the first and second time, you idiot."

"How dare you insult me!" A new Pure Water Hand was brewing.

Annan suddenly shouted, "You can't pinch me!"

"Why!"

"This is a beautiful mark left by the Succubus Queen herself."

Annan tilted his head back, showing the marks on his neck from being choked. "Who do you think you are, to dare to choke her in the same spot!"
