Creators like Perpetua, or the three sixth-dimensional gods, and their offspring, could never truly empathize with someone like the first Lantern.

For Perpetua, the first Genie wanted his home to return, but he couldn't give up the false home created by the World Forgers. This was understandable for Perpetua, but if someone were to weigh his home and the false home on a scale, Perpetua would have no way of knowing what choice he would make.
