Merit Accumulation: I Conferred God and Become a Buddha

Chapter 103 The origin of Gulen’s identity

Chapter 103 The origin of Gulen’s identity

"This is the great catastrophe that Jambudvipa is destined to experience! The destruction of the old century and the beginning of the new century; unless the hearts of the people die, the Tao will not be born."

The coming of catastrophe is a judgment on mankind because people's hearts have lost their right path. Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva declares such a heavy tragedy.

Fengyu's heart ached, unable to bear and accept such a cruel fact. What was even more cruel was that he seemed unable to change anything.

"Just work hard to fulfill your destiny, move forward bravely, and be fearless."

Going forward bravely and fearlessly is a very lonely thing, which means that Fengyu must always be firm and unflinching in the face of destiny. If the right path in his heart turns back and gives up saving all living things, then he will run counter to destiny.

Did destiny choose him from the beginning, or did he choose destiny?

"I believe that physical pain and mental pain cannot crush you. No matter what you go through, you will always be a gentle and upright person."

These words are encouragement and comfort to Fengyu and a deep trust. Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva who said these words is also compassionate and gentle.

"You and your partners will discuss what we should do next."

When Feng Yu had just finished reciting the Ksitigarbha Sutra, he saw lines of golden text appearing out of thin air, and subconsciously muttered:

"May the merits of reading and reciting the "Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva's Original Vow Sutra" today, as well as all the merits and virtues of the past, present and future, be dedicated to the Supreme Bodhi with all sentient beings! To Anuttarasamyaksambodhi! May all All living beings can achieve supreme wisdom and ultimately escape the sufferings of reincarnation of life and death.

Just as the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas of the ten directions and the three times have dedicated their lives, so will I.

Dedicate all sentient beings to be able to have adequate food and clothing, be healthy and auspicious, take refuge in the Three Jewels, practice diligently, never retreat from the supreme path, never fall into the evil path in every life, be close to good teachers, have correct views, increase in blessings and wisdom, be free from the eight difficulties forever, and be reborn. Bliss, dedicate yourself to the Dharma and live in this world for a long time. "

The wind swept the sky and swirled the light, intertwining and twisting into the shape of blossoming golden lotus flowers.

The Udumbara flowers blooming on the ground sway like dancing.

Countless sentient beings of all kinds put their hands together and chanted "Namo Amitabha! Namo Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva!"

Rama, Kalam, and Arjuna also performed the same actions as all living beings.

Even a being like the Demon King Ge Lan would be affected by the Ksitigarbha Sutra and feel shocked. He would be fascinated by the scene in the outside world and could not help but recall a passage of words with a smart and graceful voice.

It was Miaohua and Fulian, two maids of the Dragon God, who spoke before their death, telling the story of the demon king Grenn.

"When Sakyamuni became a Buddha, countless sentient beings poured out of his body. You were transformed from these viviparous, oviparous and cell-differentiated beings. You wandered between heaven and earth, and degenerated into a demon-like existence. You were defeated by fighting. The Buddha sealed the mysterious city in the blue sea abyss for ten thousand years.

It was the host you possessed that saved you! Please cherish this opportunity to see the light of day again and practice well. "

Knowing what Gulen was thinking, Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva turned his attention to this special spiritual being.

When Shakyamuni Buddha once lived in the world, he taught the Dharma for forty-nine years. In this era of the righteous Dharma, she refused to recite "Namo Amitabha". Now that her conscience finally opened her mouth, she clasped her hands together and recited the Buddha's name. She felt unprecedentedly pure.

Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva could see some changes in her temperament. The five poisons of greed, anger, ignorance, pride and doubt were purified by this Buddha's name.

"Has Grant ever told you her own origins?"

Unexpectedly, Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva would suddenly ask this question. Fengyu, who was sitting cross-legged on the floor, was speechless for a moment because he really didn't know. He vaguely realized that he had never asked out of curiosity.

"Do you still remember all the creatures that came out of your body?"

Feng Yu has long forgotten the pain of being pierced by thousands of arrows. What remains fresh in his memory is the change in his body when Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva drew the mysterious symbol between his eyebrows. "What exactly are they? And my flesh and blood body was only created by the Dragon God. Why do these various living beings emerge? What does this have to do with Gulen?"

"The dragon god borrowed the four elements of nature, earth, water, fire, and wind to create a body of flesh and blood, and all the great power you had in your previous life was sealed in the merit list."

They communicated with each other with their minds and hearts, making it impossible for Ra Mo, Jialan, Arjuna and the demon king present to notice.

"The Buddha said that there are 84,000 types of living beings in the void Dharma Realm. Each living being itself contains cells of 84,000 types of living beings. According to their own creation, living beings change their 84,000 dharani bodies according to their karma.

The Buddha said that all living beings possess Buddha nature! All living beings recite Buddha’s name and practice it.

Reciting 'Ah' means reciting 'infusing the soul', that is, reciting one's own alaya consciousness, which means immeasurable meaning; reciting 'Mi' means reciting one's own 'heart and soul', that is, reciting one's own ' Self-nature'; reciting 'Tuo' means reciting one's own 'body and soul', as well as reciting one's own Dharani body; 'Buddha' means 'enlightenment', and reciting 'Buddha' means transcending the eighty thousand hidden within oneself. The cells of the four thousand kinds of sentient beings, which are the seeds of their own samsara, all return to their own nature.

Therefore, to achieve oneself is to achieve eighty-four thousand sentient beings. To recite Amitabha is to recite all eighty-four thousand types of living beings. This is the eighty-four thousand dharmas. "

Fengyu did not respond, feeling that Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva had not finished speaking.

"Gülen is the transformation of these 84,000 living beings, with viviparous, egg-laying and cell differentiation. He originally emerged from the body of Sakyamuni Buddha's deep meditation, and every cell contained everything in the world. They once Reincarnation is endless, changing around the eighty-four thousand Dharani bodies, spanning the past, present and future.”

Fengyu seemed to understand, and was stunned to sigh that Gulen turned out to be such an indescribable existence.

"Then why did you become a demon?"

"She made it up to herself, thinking she was a demon."

It was truly a shocking statement, and Feng Yu was stunned for a moment after hearing it.

"Those sentient beings have actually been saved and awakened to the Buddha nature (self-nature). When they emerged from the body of Sakyamuni Buddha, they had only one thought - to become a Buddha! However, the lurking demon king Bo Xun hindered them and took the opportunity to release them. Their Buddha-nature was polluted by greed, anger, ignorance, pride, suspicion, and the seven emotions and six desires, and the black miasma that could not be dissipated enveloped their bodies. They merged and demonized into a young woman, that is, Gulen.

The newly born Gulen is a brand-new life form, like a newborn baby, forgetting who he once was and his desire to become a Buddha! "

Hearing this, Fengyu felt mixed emotions in his heart. He didn't expect that Grant's life experience was so strange and special, with a mixture of light and darkness, making it seem a bit sad and sad.

"Where did those sentient beings that poured out of my body go?"

"Returning to earth, water, wind and fire."

Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva's indifferent answer did not make Fengyu feel at ease.

"The body is a combination of the four major elements, not to mention the 84,000 cells of all living beings in the body. All living beings regard the body as their true self, but what they don't know is that the body is borrowed from nature.

Flesh and bones are soil, and soil comes from nature. Without soil, food cannot grow, and without food, the body cannot survive.

The blood, juice, and essence flowing in the body are transformed into water. Water comes from nature. If the body does not borrow natural water, it will dry up and cannot survive.

The heat of the body is fire, and fire comes from nature. It borrows the heat of the natural sun. Without the irradiation of the sun, the body will freeze to death, and all things will not be able to grow. So you cannot survive without the sun.

Breathing is wind, and wind comes from nature. Without natural wind (oxygen) and gas exchange, you will suffocate. So the body cannot survive without the wind in nature.

The body is composed of the four elements of earth, water, fire and wind. If the earth, water, fire, and wind cannot enter the body, that is to say, the earth, water, fire, and wind return to the natural world, and the four elements will be separated. When the four elements are separated, the body dies. Only 'self' is the real self. "
