Merit Accumulation: I Conferred God and Become a Buddha
Chapter 98 Form is not different from emptiness, emptiness is not different from form, form is empti
Chapter 98 Form is not different from emptiness, emptiness is not different from form, form is emptiness, emptiness is form
As soon as Feng Yu and Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva landed on the lotus, they were surrounded by children.
The giant of light, who was walking quietly, also approached them.
The children's innocent smiling faces and innocent voices made Fengyu feel joyful and comforted, thinking that they were beautiful, pure and unstained.
"Do you still remember the baby spirit Xiaofeng who was transformed by you?"
Feng Yu froze, and fixed his surprised eyes on Bodhisattva's face, he didn't expect Xiao Feng to be mentioned suddenly.
Before the young hero king could open his mouth, Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva said calmly: "Because of your salvation, Xiaofeng can have the opportunity to go to the wheel-turning hall in hell to be reincarnated as a human being. But..."
"But you arranged for Xiaofeng to possess the body of a person who had just died, and let him return to the human world in this way."
Even if the words were interrupted, the expression of the Bodhisattva was still indifferent, neither sad nor happy.
"I didn't let him reincarnate as a human being, nor did I bring him to Tongzi City, but let him live on as a human youth Taixu."
"Why are you doing this?"
Feng Yu and Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva exchanged thoughts and words, but no one could hear their inner voices.
"I don't have much time to wait for Xiaofeng to be reincarnated as a human being before growing up. The judgment of the end is just around the corner. If Xiaofeng was born in a mother's womb, he might not be able to grow up, nor can he wait for your appearance."
Feng Yu was stunned, unable to restrain the flash of memories.
"You are amazing! When you are reincarnated and become a human being, when you grow up, you will definitely become a peerless hero."
"So will we meet again? Will heroes meet heroes?"
"Haha, I will."
An indescribable loneliness enveloped him.
He bent down and squatted down, stretched out his hands, and picked up a few children at his feet who were clamoring to hug and lift them up.
Those innocent and childlike children stretched out their small hands cooperatively, clinging to the palms, fingers, arms, and shoulders of the five-meter-high giant.
"Xiaofeng could have chosen to go to the pure land of bliss in the mountain and sea world of Lianhuazang, but he chose to be reborn as a human being.
He said he wanted to save all sentient beings, so he wanted to be a human being. "
"Thinking and feeling everywhere, I sensed his wish the moment he set his mind."
Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva's brows and eyes were always lowered, showing compassion for all living beings, and the expression on his face was as usual without any emotion.
"Teacher, are you here to teach us the Fa?"
The spring-like voice of "just to see you" gently blew past the children's ears.
"But I want to hear you talk about Buddhism?"
"Yeah, I want to hear it too."
The formless Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva whispered softly, "What do you want to hear?"
"Why do you want to subdue your heart? Should you grow your heart without dwelling?"
The children's eyes lit up, and they turned their clear and clear eyes, looking curiously at the figure who said these words.
Feng Yu just couldn't hold back his thoughts, and couldn't help blurting out.
"How can you subdue your heart? Should you grow your heart without abode? These two questions are well asked."
"Subduing one's mind and keeping everything out of one's mind, how easy is it?"
"If you want to practice Buddhism and Taoism, you must first get rid of the five poisonous minds. Only when the mind is free from attachments, there is no fear, and you can stay away from perverted dreams, can you achieve Nirvana."
In the innocent and childlike voice, you wandered around the two bright giants with each other.
"Your spiritual body is pure and untainted, like the pure lotus flower growing in the boy city, free from worldly dust.
When you are born in the mortal world and have a flesh and blood body, you will be contaminated with filth, and your pure, undefiled, self-contained, true and innocent nature (true self-nature) will be sealed in the deepest part of your mind.
The bright and pure heart of wonderful enlightenment does not have all forms such as water and fire, but it is harmonious with everything, and it can accommodate all things in one heart.
It is sentient beings who are confused and confused, violate the clear and pure heart of enlightenment, and merge with various phenomena, thus triggering the understanding of various things, and having the understanding of various forms in the world.
Mind and space; earth, water, wind, and fire; eyes, ears, nose, tongue, body, and mind; form, sound, smell, taste, touch, and dharma; the difference between what the eyes can see and what they can't see; The delusion of thinking about things; the four noble truths of suffering, origin, extinction, and Tao; wisdom; enlightenment; generosity, precepts, patience, diligence, concentration, and the six perfections of wisdom: the purity of reaching the other shore; becoming a Buddha; worshiping ; the four virtues of constant, happy, self, and pure Nirvana; entering the purity of the secular world and the dharma world; the beautiful and pure heart that humans originally conceal; being separated from existence and non-existence; both being and not being.
Their existence is like light neither from the sun nor from the void, but they cannot be separated from the void and the sun.
They are contained by the clear and pure heart that integrates all things, and they are all sentient beings to produce various views.
With the true and innocent mind like a jewel, all sentient beings are perfect.
The six organs of eyes, ears, nose, tongue, body, and mind, and the six objects of form, sound, smell, taste, touch, and dharma are not born of causes and conditions, nor are they inherent in nature.
All are produced by the combination of external causes and conditions, illusions and delusions, and when the causes and conditions are dispersed and separated, the illusions will also perish.
The various illusory forms of all things are produced from illusions and are also eliminated in illusions. The nature of the various phenomena and forms produced by falsehood and illusory existence is the bright and pure body of wonderful enlightenment, that is, the true heart without falsehood!
The original nature is untainted and permeates everything, harmonious and unobstructed, it contains and embraces the world in all directions, always lives in silence, without birth and death. "
Some children were dumbfounded and shook their heads to express their incomprehension of the profound words; some children were delighted.
Feng Yu, who was confused, saw Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva sitting on the spot, and many immature and pure villains were climbing on him.
The children laughed happily, and their lovely faces were filled with bright and bright smiles.
"Only when a pure heart is born when everything is not in the heart, can one see the nature of the mind, realize the nature, and become a Buddha by seeing the nature.
Knowing that the true heart is originally clear, but because of delusion, the true face of the true heart cannot be seen.
This true and innocent heart is the pure and untainted true nature, that is, the Buddha nature! It is because of delusional thoughts and attachments that all living beings lose their true and innocent hearts and cannot see the true face of their own Buddhas.
The Buddha's emptiness and formless dharmakaya are the same as the original nature, and the formless dharmakaya is also emptiness. The bright side of emptiness is the true and innocent mind-true self-nature, that is, Buddha nature.
If the worldly beings subdue their deluded minds, their true hearts will appear. When everything does not stay in their true hearts, they will become Buddhas immediately after seeing their own nature (true self-nature). "
"Seeing one's nature and becoming a Buddha, so that's what it means?"
"Taught, teacher!"
Children, big and small, put their bodies on the ground in admiration, and then put their hands together and reverently recited "Namo Amitabha!"
As a bystander, Yu was shocked and silently recorded those words.
"If you believe that you are a Buddha, you will see the cognition of the Buddha, and the cognition of the Buddha is your own nature.
The nature is pure and untainted, harmonious and unimpeded, but the Buddha's nature is polluted and obscured by various external conditions, giving birth to greed, hatred, ignorance, suspicion.
Karma will give rise to false views, and false views will lead to the five poisonous minds. If you subdue your heart and purify your mind, the true nature of the Buddha will be revealed. "
Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva has countless spirits, allowing them to be born from lotus flowers and give birth to human shapes.
Countless boys and girls bowed their heads to worship, or knelt on one knee, put their hands together and recited "Namo Amitabha."
The bright giant standing upright or sitting cross-legged was silent, as if an independent god descended from the world.
"The six sense organs and the six dusts are not born from causes and conditions, nor are they naturally possessed in nature. They are all produced by the combination of external causes and conditions, illusions and delusions. When the causes and conditions are dispersed and separated, the illusions will also perish.
The various illusory forms shown by all things are produced from illusions and are also eliminated in illusions. The nature of the various phenomena and forms produced by falsehood and illusory existence is the bright and pure body of wonderful enlightenment, that is, the true heart without falsehood!
Form is emptiness, and emptiness is form! Therefore, form and emptiness are not two, and form and emptiness are two sides of one body. The six roots and six dusts are delusions and illusions. When encountering conditions, false views are born. After violating the clear and pure heart of enlightenment, various confusing views and differences are produced. At the same time, they are also covered by the clear and pure heart that harmonizes all things.
Emptiness can give birth to the true and innocent mind that is clear, pure, and wonderful. This emptiness is the true self-nature that all living beings have, also known as Buddha-nature.
Why is it true that all dharmas are produced by self-energy?All things in the world, including our bodies, are all illusions attached to the true self-nature. They are the false combination of the four elements of earth, water, fire, and wind. It's really born from its own nature.
It is really like the self-nature meets the predestined relationship to produce the delusional mind, and the delusional mind will produce the predestined relationship in the heart through the six sense organs and the six dusts, that is, the shadow image.
In essence, form exists because of delusional mind, and delusional mind manifests shadows because of form. Form cannot be separated from delusive mind, and delusive mind cannot be separated from form. Therefore, form is not different from emptiness, emptiness is not different from form, form is emptiness, and emptiness is form. "
Note: "Nature", "true self-nature", and "Buddha nature" have almost the same meaning, but the terms are used differently in the book.
