Xie Meilan was suspended from her job at the company and had nothing to do at home. She was just about to go to the supermarket to do some shopping when Lu Jie's secretary called her. Only then did she know that Lu Jie had been taken away by the Discipline Inspection Commission.

Mother Lu sneered: "Why are you pretending in front of me? Didn't my son tell you that he has a wife and children?"

"Isn't he divorced? His wife and children live in Singapore."

Mother Lu raised her eyebrows and snorted, "Did he tell you that?"

Xie Meilan was shocked!
"Lu Jie isn't divorced?" Xie Meilan said with trembling lips.

"Of course my son and daughter-in-law are not divorced. My daughter-in-law is in Singapore to take care of her pregnancy."
