Hua Zi noticed the atmosphere had become strange and was very troubled.

Hua Zi didn't want to invite Lu Tao and Xia Lin to the opening today, because he was afraid of getting into another conflict with Wang Gang.

Later, it was because of Xiang Nan's big mouth that he told Lu Tao about the opening. As a result, Lu Tao came uninvited and even brought a flower basket to congratulate him. Hua Zi couldn't very well send him away.

Charlene said, "I can tell that Gao Qiang is a man of strong emotions. Whether he likes someone or not, he makes it all out in the open. He just doesn't like me!"

Lu Tao took Xia Lin's hand and said, "Xia Lin, let's go! I don't want to stay here for another second."

Charlene shook her head and said, "Let's wait a little longer! Today is Hua Zi's big day after all. Let's wait until after the opening ceremony before we leave."

Lu Tao said worriedly, "I'm afraid you'll feel embarrassed. Gao Qiang might try to make fun of you."

Wang Gang shook his head and said, "I'm not agitated, I just can't stand that they hurt Mi Lai and can act like nothing happened!"

Chunxiao glanced at Lu Tao and Xia Lin again and whispered, "They seem to be very much in love with each other?"

Wang Gang scoffed, "They're in the honeymoon phase right now. Once the excitement wears off, they'll break up sooner or later."

Chunxiao glanced at Wang Gang and said, "If I didn't know you were pursuing Sister Manny, I would definitely think you liked Mi Lai."

Wang Gang countered, "How did you know I was pursuing Manny?"

"Milai told me."

Wang Gang suddenly realized, "Mi Lai is quite gossipy; it seems she's recovered from her heartbreak."

Chunxiao nodded and said, "Mi Lai's mood has improved a lot recently. She even said that you scolded her."

Wang Gang said seriously, "I genuinely consider Mi Lai a friend and don't want her to stay depressed. It would be best if she could figure things out on her own. That's all I can do."

Chunxiao said, "Milai is a good girl. I heard that Hua Zi's car dealership is opening today, and she wants to come and congratulate him!"

Wang Gang was slightly taken aback, and suddenly had a bad feeling!

Wang Gang took the flowers, continued to block Mi Lai, and said with a smile, "The opening ceremony is about to begin, let's go outside! You can cut the ribbon later."

Mi Lai glanced behind her and said, "Where's Hua Zi? I haven't congratulated him yet!"

Wang Gang grabbed Mi Lai's wrist and said seriously, "Lu Tao and Xia Lin are here too!"

Miley trembled slightly, but quickly regained her composure and said calmly, "I expected this."

Wang Gang frowned, genuinely worried that Mi Lai might cause trouble.

Mi Lai suddenly smiled and said, "Don't worry! Today is a special day for you and Hua Zi, I know what I'm doing."

"Hehe," Milai laughed, "Did I say something wrong?"

Wang Gang had been observing Mi Lai's condition and found that she didn't seem like she was there to cause trouble.

Hua Zi and Chun Xiao ran over at that moment, looking anxious, and said to Mi Lai, "Mi Lai, you're here! Come and sit in my office first!"

Mi Lai smiled and said, "Hua Zi, don't be afraid, I'm not here to cause trouble."

Mi Lai shook her head and said, "I'm fine, you go ahead with your work! Gao Qiang can stay with me."

Wang Gang whispered in Hua Zi's ear, "Go ahead and do your work! I'll take care of Mi Lai. Tell Lu Tao and Xia Lin not to bother Mi Lai."

Hua Zi nodded in agreement and hurried off to find Lu Tao and Xia Lin.

Lu Tao and the others were unaware of Mi Lai's arrival and were whispering in a corner.

Hua Zi rushed over anxiously and immediately said, "Mi Lai has arrived. Why don't you all stay out of the way?"

Lu Tao was stunned for a moment, and Xia Lin nervously peeked out. Sure enough, she saw Mi Lai and her heart began to panic.

"Hua Zi, you invited Mi Lai today? Why didn't you tell me sooner?" Lu Tao said with dissatisfaction.

“I didn’t invite her, and I don’t know how she found out about the opening today,” Hua Zi explained. “If I had known she was coming, I wouldn’t have dared to let you and Xia Lin come.”

Lu Tao grabbed Xia Lin's hand and said nervously, "Why don't we leave first? I'm afraid Mi Lai is here to cause you trouble."

A struggle flashed in Charlene's eyes, but she finally sighed deeply and said, "What's coming will come. Running away isn't the solution. I did hurt Mila, and there has to be an end to it."

Lu Tao said urgently, "But it can't be today! Let's avoid it for a while, and I'll talk to her after Mi Lai has calmed down."

Charlene said sadly, "Alright then! I'll do as you say."

Seeing that Xia Lin had agreed, Lu Tao happily asked Hua Zi, "Does your shop have a back door?"

“Yes, I’ll take you there.” Hua Zi was overjoyed. It was perfect that Lu Tao and Xia Lin wouldn’t run into Mi Lai.

Unfortunately, before they could leave, they heard Mila's voice behind them.

"Lu Tao, Xia Lin, the opening ceremony is about to begin, why are you leaving!"
