Xia Lin changed her clothes, took a deep breath, suppressed her disgust, and still braced herself to go find Wang Gang and Hua Zi.

The nightclub owner just spoke with her, warning her not to offend any more customers, or she wouldn't get her wages for the month.

Charlene knew that nightclub owners were not ordinary people and did not care about labor laws, so it was almost impossible to get back wages through normal channels.

The two girls knew Charlene, though they weren't particularly close, but they knew she didn't sell herself.

"Mr. Hu." Two girls surrounded him, one on each side, and said coquettishly, "You've only drunk half of your wine."

Charlene took the initiative to pick up a wine glass and, together with the two girls, began to frequently pour wine for Manager Hu.

Manager Hu was caught in a trap, surrounded by three women. He couldn't resist and kept drinking, one glass of wine after another. Soon, the three women had forced him to drink an entire bottle of foreign liquor.

Hua Zi stepped forward to defuse the situation, saying, "Mr. Hu, you're drunk."

Manager Hu shoved Hua Zi aside and shouted, "I'm not drunk, I'm perfectly sober."

“Miss Linlin, if you come with me today, I will buy you an even more expensive watch, the kind with diamonds.”

Xia Lin naturally didn't take Manager Hu's words seriously. She had seen far too many drunk customers like this, and she couldn't believe a word they said when they were drunk.

Just as Xia Lin was about to decline, Manager Hu couldn't control himself and puckered his lips to kiss her.

"Get your dirty hands away."

Xia Lin turned around and saw Lu Tao charging straight at Manager Hu like an enraged lion.

Lu Tao punched Manager Hu in the eye socket.

"Ouch!" Manager Hu cried out in pain, collapsing onto the sofa.

"Lu Tao, what are you doing?!" Xia Lin exclaimed.

"I'll beat this pervert to death."

Ignoring everything else, Lu Tao charged at Manager Hu again, punching him repeatedly in the face.

Seeing that things were not going well, Hua Zi quickly stepped forward to stop the fight.

"Lu Tao!" Hua Zi hugged Lu Tao tightly and cried out, "Do you want to beat him to death?"

Enraged, Lu Tao was beyond redemption. While beating Manager Hu, he roared, "You dare to take advantage of my girlfriend? I'll beat you to death!"

The nightclub's security guards quickly noticed the situation and two burly men ran over and pulled Lu Tao away.

"Where did this bastard come from, daring to cause trouble in my place?" The nightclub owner also rushed over after hearing the commotion. Upon seeing Lu Tao, he punched him directly in the stomach. "Ugh!" Lu Tao gagged in pain.

"Mr. Xu, Mr. Xu, stop hitting him! He's my boyfriend!" Xia Lin rushed to protect her boyfriend when she saw Lu Tao being beaten.

"Your boyfriend?" Nightclub owner Mr. Xu became even angrier upon hearing this, saying, "Do you even want to keep your business?! You sent your boyfriend to cause trouble!"

Charlene said, her voice trembling with embarrassment, "Boss, I didn't know he would come here."

Hua Zi wanted to explain for Xia Lin, but Wang Gang grabbed him and whispered, "Aren't you going to check on how President Hu is?"

"Oh, right, Mr. Hu?!" Hua Zi suddenly remembered Manager Hu.

At this moment, Manager Hu was lying unconscious on the sofa. It was unclear whether he had been beaten by Lu Tao or had drunk too much.

"Mr. Hu, Mr. Hu?" Hua Zi tried to wake Manager Hu, but he just lay there motionless.

Upon seeing Wang Gang arrive, President Xu immediately abandoned Xia Lin.
