The heavens set sail from the courtyard

Lu Tao drove his Audi A4, which he hadn't owned for long, to the company building. He noticed several suspicious-looking people standing by the roadside, so he quickly turned the steering wheel and sped off down a side road.

Secretary Liu said, "Just leave it here, it's fine."

Secretary Liu looked around to make sure no one was there before driving away.

Lu Tao noticed that Secretary Liu's car was driving further and further off the beaten path, eventually ending up in the countryside and finally stopping in front of a self-built house.

"President Xu is inside." Secretary Liu parked the car and said to Lu Tao, "Go in yourself, I'll drive the car somewhere else."

Secretary Liu smiled and said, "These are all Mr. Xu's instructions." Lu Tao sighed, got out of the car, and watched Secretary Liu's car drive away.

Turning his head to look at the self-built house, Lu Tao didn't see the doorbell, so he knocked twice.

The door opened quickly, but the person who opened it was not Xu Zhisen, but a girl in her early twenties.

"You must be Lu Tao! President Xu is waiting for you inside."

"Who are you? I've never seen you before," Lu Tao asked, puzzled.

“I am Mr. Xu’s private nurse,” the girl said.

"Is my dad alright?" Lu Tao had no idea that Xu Zhisen had a terminal illness.

"Go in by yourself! Mr. Xu is waiting for you."

Without further hesitation, Lu Tao rushed through the gate, walked through the courtyard, and entered the first room.
