Chapter 1293 Dismemberment
Chapter 1293 Dismemberment
As India was a colony, British companies could obviously let loose. An iron-blooded crackdown in Britain would cause public opinion and social problems. In India, the lower-class people have no human rights. Coupled with India's "perfect" caste system, at first glance, India is an investment paradise.
This is an "advantage" that other British colonies did not have. After all, the British only slightly increased taxes on America, and as a result, the plantation owners and merchants in the thirteen North American states revolted.
Of course, investing in industry in India is obviously not without its problems, for example, Indians are poorly organized, have little ambition, live from day to day, are good at debating but not good at solving problems, and so on.
Even so, India's shortcomings are not insurmountable, and this is also a concern for East African governments.
Freer said: "India has the foundation to become a great power. Once it becomes independent from Britain and inherits Britain's industry in India, it will immediately become our greatest threat in the Indian Ocean."
"So in order to eliminate this hidden danger in advance, we should increase our influence in India and encourage and support conflicts between different ethnic groups and religions in India so that in the future, even if India becomes independent from Britain, it will not be possible for it to become a unified country."
"This is similar to our arrangement with the Dutch East Indies (Indonesia). The East Indies could threaten our colonies in Southeast Asia, so we had to prepare to split the region in advance."
"Among the countries along the Indian Ocean, India is one of the countries that has the potential to threaten East Africa, followed by the Ottoman Empire and Persia, and finally the British colony of Australia."
There are currently only two world powers along the Indian Ocean coast, one is East Africa and the other is the Ottoman Empire. Of course, East Africa is recognized as one of the great powers, while the Ottoman Empire can only be regarded as a great power.
The criteria for assessing countries and regions that can pose a threat to East Africa's hegemony in the Indian Ocean are very simple, that is, area and population. Overall, it is obvious that India is a powerful region in the Indian Ocean region, second only to East Africa.
There is no doubt that the Ottoman Empire is currently stronger than India. After all, the Ottoman Empire is an independent country and can freely develop its own military and industry. If Britain is excluded, the Ottoman Empire can completely conquer India by force.
However, the Ottoman Empire had an area of only over one million square kilometers, a large part of which was still desert, and a population of only about 20 to 30 million. India's population was more than ten times that of the Ottoman Empire, its area was nearly twice that of the Ottoman Empire, and it had a large amount of arable land resources.
In addition, the Ottoman Empire had long been attacked by the Western world, which caused its influence in the Indian Ocean to shrink to only two narrow areas, the Red Sea and the Persian Gulf, and there were not even a few ports that could be used.
Therefore, East Africa ranks the Ottoman Empire behind India. Of course, if the Ottoman Empire retakes the entire Arabian Peninsula, this is definitely not something East Africa wants to see.
In addition to India and the Ottoman Empire, Persia is also a country that East Africa needs to guard against, but East Africa has never found an excuse to infiltrate Persia.
The reason for this situation was that in the past Persia was supported by two major powers, namely Britain and Russia.
However, with the end of the regime change in Russia, East Africa had the ability and obligation to represent the reactionary forces of the world and move into Central Asia, Persia and other regions.
In the past, other countries could tolerate a backward regime like Russia controlling Central Asia. After all, no matter how powerful Russia was, it would not kill all its enemies. However, the Russian Labor Party regime was a thorn in the eyes and flesh of reactionary forces around the world.
Finally, there is Australia. Although the British colony of Australia now looks unremarkable and cannot even get rid of the title of a place for the exile of criminals, it is the largest one among the countries and regions in East Africa that are listed as threats to the Indian Ocean.
Freer said: "The empire cannot tolerate the birth or rise of any country that may threaten our rights in the Indian Ocean, so we must prepare corresponding plans for these countries and regions that may threaten the strategic security of the empire and the future order of the Indian Ocean."
"As for India, my opinion is to divide India into three to four or even more countries and regions in the future, taking advantage of the complex ethnic groups and religions there, and to prevent the resurgence of Arabism in India."
Why did Freer focus on Arabism? In addition to East Africa's consistent vigilance against Arabism, the fundamental reason is that Arabism is most likely to threaten East Africa's hegemony in the Indian Ocean. Before Western countries intervened in the Indian Ocean, Arabism was widely distributed along the coast of the Indian Ocean, such as Zanzibar, Somalia, and the Kingdom of Buganda, which were eliminated by East Africa in the west, or the Arab countries that currently exist on the northern coast of the Indian Ocean.
Or the Arab countries or regions in Southeast Asia, including the Malay Peninsula, Kalimantan Island, and the East Indies.
Just imagine, if under the influence of Arab religion, which has a strong ability to unify ideas, a unified Arab country is formed spanning most of the area around the Indian Ocean, it will definitely be a disaster for East Africa. They don't even need to unify, they just need to form a loose alliance, which will change the power structure of the entire Indian Ocean.
And Arabic happens to be the dominant religion in the South Asian subcontinent. This is not false. After all, the Mughal regime that finally unified India in modern history was an Arabic regime. Today, the rulers of many Indian princely states are Arabic believers.
If it were not for the arrival of Western forces, Arabism would have continued to rule India and eliminated various native religious sects in India.
Take India in the 21st century as an example. Even though Bangladesh and Pakistan were separated, India still has more than million Arab population, which shows the strong competitiveness of Arabism in India.
After all, the Indian government’s suppression of Arabism in the past was extremely severe. The fact that there are still so many Arab populations under such circumstances shows its tenacious vitality.
Freer said: "We should support the development of other forces in India besides the Arab religion. If India becomes independent and becomes an Arab country, it will directly become a bridge and hub for communication between Southeast Asia and the Arab religion in the Middle East."
"So after the dismemberment of India, it must be divided into several countries that are capable of confronting the Arab forces. No matter whether they are Hindu, Sikh, Buddhist, Catholic, or even Orthodox, as long as they are not Arab, they can be supported."
"Besides that, we can also support forces within India based on ethnicity and race, such as the Dravidians who are widely distributed in southern India."

"The three colonies that France tried to trade to us happened to be within the Dravidian area. We could create a new nation in South Asia by inventing the Dravidian nation."
The Dravidians are actually the most primitive indigenous people of India, and may be the creators of ancient Indian civilization. As the Aryans moved south, the Dravidians were constantly conquered, so the Dravidian forces in southern India actually preserved their ancestral characteristics better.
The Dravidians are also one of the representatives of the brown race, and have some origins with the indigenous people of Southeast Asia or perhaps Australia.
Freer's idea was to restore a Dravidian state. As for the plan, it was just like when France exported nationalism abroad, which led to the current half-dead Austro-Hungarian Empire.
Even if this country cannot be independent, as long as they can play the role that Hungary is playing today and hold back India's development, it will be beneficial to the future of East Africa.
Of course, in the past, the British divided India into two countries based on Hinduism and Arabism. One important function of this was to isolate the expansion of Arabism.
In Freer's strategy, India was obviously not that important. After all, the British did this because after India's independence, Britain had basically no say.
Now that East Africa is a "capable" and "responsible" Indian Ocean power, it naturally shoulders the heavy responsibility of striking against the Arab religious forces along the Indian Ocean coast, and this situation will continue as long as East Africa does not decline or the regime changes.
