Everything in the world has its own duality.

Just as water and fire interact, light and shadow follow each other, brightness and darkness complement each other, and the visible and the invisible are interdependent; and on a grander scale, this can be extended to highly conceptual elements such as the interaction of heaven and earth, the waxing and waning of yin and yang, and the cycle of life and death—

In the realm of thought, this way of looking at problems is called "dualism." However, in the path of cultivation pioneered by Fuxi, this state of being is referred to by two other words:

Only those with great fortune and perseverance could reach the final step in the realm of "saint," unite the four elements, and ascend to the high position of "emperor."

However, the path to sainthood ends here. To ascend further, even with exceptional talent, is beyond human capability. Though some brilliant minds aspire to reach the heavens, proposing a method of cultivation where "one step a day, this is the path to heaven," they still fall short when trying to move from the "finite" to the "infinite" realm…
