Chapter 825 Dad is bad, An An is good

Ning Zhi couldn’t drive, so she couldn’t take Feng Nan to the train station. She could only help him get a taxi.

"Go back and have a good rest, and spend the New Year with your family."

Feng Nan waved his hand at her, "I will, teacher."

On the way to the train station, the driver asked Feng Nan curiously, "That man just now looked so young, was he your teacher?"

Feng Nan smiled, "Yes, and my teacher is a very nice person. I like her very much."

"Everyone says that once a teacher, you are a father for life. I think your situation is similar."

"Yes."

After seeing Feng Nan off, Ning Zhi turned back to the research institute and was busy until late at night before going home.

A certificate on the coffee table attracted Ning Zhi's attention. She picked it up curiously and was surprised to find that little Ning An's name was written on it.

Fu Qian brought out the porridge and smiled gently at her inquiring gaze, "Didn't I tell you a few days ago that An An was going to participate in a children's calligraphy and painting competition?"

Ning Zhi nodded, she remembered it.

"The competition just ended today, and An An won the first prize in the children's Chinese painting category."

Ning Zhi was full of surprise, even more surprised than when she herself won an international award.

This was because little Ning An fell asleep, otherwise Ning Zhi would have picked her up and turned her around a few times.

Ning Zhi proudly took a photo of the certificate and posted it on her Moments. Isn't this a good way to show off?

The next day, Ning Zhi waited until little Ning An woke up and congratulated her before leaving.

After Ning Zhi arrived at the research institute, Ye Xinran, who had been waiting for a long time, grabbed her and said, "I'll order a set of An An's words first."

Ning Zhi raised her eyebrows slightly and stretched out her hand, "Deposit?"

Ye Xinran slapped her hand away, "I won't even give you the deposit."

Mo Xiruo who was behind squeezed over and raised her hand to indicate that she wanted one too.

The others smiled and waved at Ning Zhi, "And us."

Ning Zhi immediately glared at them in anger, "What are you doing? Do you want to tire my daughter to death?"

"It's okay, we can get in line, no rush, no rush."

The period before the New Year is the busiest. After a few words chatting for a while, they plunged into the busy experiments again.

Neither Fu Qian nor Ning Zhi had expected that Mr. Fu, who had recovered well recently, would not be able to survive this New Year's Eve.

The old man passed away in his sleep, his expression was very peaceful and he didn't seem to be in any pain.

Ning Zhi was actually quite grateful to Mr. Fu. No matter he did not stop her when Fu Qian "broke off the engagement", or he supported her and Fu Qian later, as well as all the things he did for them, both openly and secretly, he was worthy of the title of a father.

At Mr. Fu's funeral, Fu Qian's uncle, Qiu Yuan, also came. With the help of the younger generation, he looked at Mr. Fu's photo quietly and sighed softly.

"Wait a little longer, old friend. It won't be long before I, too, go down to see my sister."

Ning Zhi put a little force on Fu Qian's shoulder, and the latter shook his head to indicate that he was fine.

After the funeral, the family returned to the old house, which had been prepared to welcome the New Year, but was now decorated in white.

New Year's Eve still had to be celebrated. The whole family sat together and had a quiet meal. Even the annual background music, the Spring Festival Gala, was muted.

Fu Qian was in a very low mood for several days. He didn't say anything and Ning Zhi sat beside him to keep him company, sometimes reading a book or a paper.

Little Ning'an would draw and write obediently at the side. When he was tired, he would run to Ning Zhi and sit down with her, or he would rest his little head on Fu Qian's legs and take a nap. Fu Qian knew that this was not the right way to go. In order not to let Ning Zhi and little Ning'an continue to worry, he tried hard to adjust himself and get back to his previous state.

That afternoon, Ning Zhi left for a while because of something, and little Ning An sat beside him and drew as usual. He would look up at Fu Qian from time to time, and then continue to draw with his head down.

However, the little girl was so absorbed in painting that she didn't even notice when Fu Qian left. When she looked up and found that he was gone, Xiao Ning'an was stunned.

What kind of father is she that old?

Fortunately, Fu Qian came back soon, hugged little Ning An and gently touched her face with his chin, "Do you want to go find your mother?"

"want!"

Fu Qian didn't expect that his daughter would go to her mother to complain.

The father and daughter found Ning Zhi in the research institute. Little Ning An hugged her mother and accused Fu Qian in a low voice.

Ning Zhi looked up, and Fu Qian coughed lightly, "I just went to the toilet."

"Dad is bad, An An is good."

Ning Zhi suppressed her smile and kissed her daughter to comfort her, "Let's not bother with the bad dad, okay?"

Little Ning'an thought about it and nodded, not arguing with his bad father.

After the New Year, Ning Zhi returned to Yanda to attend classes. She learned from Yue Qi that the school had brought in a group of foreign graduate students to participate in project exchanges.

Ning Zhi frowned slightly, "Are there any from our college?"

"Yes, three. They even specifically wanted to come to our place, but were rejected by the hospital leaders."

As soon as Yue Qi finished speaking, her cell phone rang. The person who called was the school leader who facilitated this exchange project.

The other party's purpose was very clear, which was to make Yue Qi agree to the exchange student's request.

Yue Qi and Ning Zhi exchanged a glance and said calmly, "Vice Principal Zhang, I cannot agree to this request. You know how important the Xinghua Class is to our school. I cannot agree to allow foreigners to enter."

"Xiao Yue, this is because you don't know how to adapt. I just want to sit in and see the differences between our teaching methods..."

"If you want to see the difference in teaching, can't you just go to the regular class?" Ning Zhi said. She smiled and continued, "Why do you have to go to the Xinghua class?"

Vice Principal Zhang did not expect that there was Ning Zhi standing next to Yue Qi. He was stunned when he heard her voice.

Yue Qi suppressed her smile and said in a deep voice, "Vice Principal Zhang, I have a lot of things to do here, so I'll hang up first."

Without waiting for the other party's consent, Yue Qi hung up the phone without hesitation and reported the matter to the leaders of the hospital.

After doing all this, Yue Qi looked at Ning Zhi and said, "He is either stupid or evil."

Ning Zhi smiled and shook her head. "Everyone knows how important the Xinghua class is. Since the establishment of the teaching, there has never been such a thing. Let foreign exchange students enter the Xinghua class to audit. Who can agree to such a proposal?"

"So it's either stupid or evil."

"I think you can get rid of the stupidity, it's just bad."

The college leaders also found it unbelievable. While they were communicating with Vice President Zhang, they were also reporting the situation to their superiors. They didn't think their superiors would agree.

After Ning Zhi finished two classes, Yue Qi came over with a unhappy look on his face.

Ning Zhi asked her what happened while packing her things, "Did the college agree to it?"

"That's not the case." Yue Qi shook her head and pointed to the next door. "Just now, the security personnel caught two foreign exchange students sneaking around at the door over there."

Ning Zhi's expression turned cold. Next door was the experimental building.
