The vicious female supporting role is posted in the opposite direction by the cub

Meanwhile, in City C, China, in Yan Yueqing's study.

The holographic screen displays a complex industrial network diagram, with several lines highlighted in red, which are the medicinal herb trade chains related to Jiang Kaiserlin.

Jiang Chuanning's image appeared to the side, and he pushed up his gold-rimmed glasses.

“Miss Xing, as you instructed, we have thoroughly investigated the Fifth Elder’s line of work. Sure enough, it’s not just about reselling medicinal herbs at high prices and suppressing traditional Chinese medicine.”

Jiang Chuanning pulled up several encrypted documents. "We discovered that through this line, she had close financial ties with several specific pharmaceutical consortia and underground organizations in Japan. Some of these funds flowed to several acquisition and litigation funds targeting traditional Chinese medicine patents. Their goal is likely to systematically plunder, seal, or even abolish key Chinese medicine prescriptions and patents through capital and legal means, paving the way for a Western medicine monopoly."

Yan Yueqing's gaze was icy: "Treasonous and disloyal, undermining the foundation. Is the chain of evidence complete?"

"The flow of funds and some contract evidence have been secured. However, the other party is cunning and has used multiple layers of offshore companies and agents. Evidence directly pointing to the Fifth Elder will take time to arrive."

Yan Yueqing shook her head: "Teacher, I always felt that Catherine's actions were not just about exploiting traditional Chinese medicine."

Commercial competition has always existed, but Catherine's businesses are almost all overseas. She can use other businesses to aggressively enter the Chinese market and seize resources.

But she went to great lengths, spending a lot of money and resources, to target traditional Chinese medicine.
Even though Japan gave her a lot in return, it was still not enough to cover her expenses for many years.

Yan Yueqing couldn't think of a reason for the time being, but there was one thing she was very certain of—

Jiang Kaiserlin is not a philanthropist. She spent money and effort, so the other party should give her at least three times the return.

Otherwise, she wouldn't have worked on this line for almost ten years!

“Okay.” Jiang Chuanning paused, then said, “There’s one more thing. We’ve detected that several overseas accounts under the Fifth Elder’s name have shown unusual activity in the last half hour. A huge sum of money has been transferred in batches to several unidentified accounts, and the recipients’ characteristics… are linked to some international commercial espionage and media manipulation organizations.”

Yan Yueqing tapped her fingertips lightly on the table, making a rhythmic tapping sound.

She recalled Catherine Jiang's threatening communication from before, and a cold smile curled at the corner of her lips.

"It seems that our Fifth Elder intends to teach this 'naive' young patriarch a lesson."

Yan Yueqing leaned back in her chair, her eyes sharp. "Teacher, have our people in China prepare. Especially Haixing and Guangqi, strengthen security and compliance checks. Also, organize the information we prepared beforehand about those Japanese conglomerates using unfair competition to suppress Chinese pharmaceutical companies, as well as the evidence of their collusion with certain international organizations to plunder biological resources."

Jiang Chuanning's eyes brightened slightly: "What does Miss Xing mean?"

"Isn't she trying to create trouble?" Yan Yueqing smiled slightly, but there was no warmth in that smile. "Let's give her a hand and make the trouble even bigger, so that those who need to see it can see it clearly. By the way, let's spread the word about the latest progress of our new energy base and the 'Frozen Soil Regeneration' project, especially our intention to cooperate deeply with several state-owned enterprises. We need to give people the impression that we have a solid foundation, unlimited prospects, and are being favored by all parties."

"Yes, I'll take care of it immediately," Jiang Chuanning replied, then added with some worry, "However, the Fifth Elder has been operating overseas for many years, and her influence is deeply entrenched. If she becomes desperate..."

“She wouldn’t dare,” Yan Yueqing interrupted him, her tone firm. “At least not now. Most of her businesses are shady. If I touch one of her sectors, she only dares to sabotage me behind my back, which shows she’s guilty and that she doesn’t have any trump cards to deal with me. What she’s doing now is just testing the waters and venting her anger.”

She stood up, walked to the window, and looked at the myriad lights of China outside. Her voice was calm but carried an undeniable power: "And I will let her know that her probing will only expose more of her weaknesses. Her venting will only hasten her downfall. If the Jiang family wants to return to China, these parasites and obstacles will have to be removed sooner or later. Since she jumped out first, let's start with her."

"Tell our people overseas to keep a close eye on Catherine Jiang and all the forces closely associated with her, especially the Lowell family and those in Japan. If she makes any unusual moves, or if we in China are subjected to any unconventional commercial attacks, immediately activate the 'obstacle clearing' plan."

"Yes!" Jiang Chuanning solemnly responded, and the image disappeared. Yan Yueqing stood alone by the window, the city lights shimmering in the night. She knew that her contest with Jiang Catherine had only just begun. But she had to win this first round decisively.

Not only must she win, but she must also make it clear to the other elders who are secretly watching—she, Yan Yueqing, is not a pawn they can manipulate at will. She is the one who holds the chess pieces.

She picked up the internal communicator and dialed a number.

“Junli,” her voice softened, “I may soon need some ‘external’ pressure. What you mentioned before about the European review of the Lowell family’s energy projects can be pushed forward appropriately.”

Jun Li's calm voice came from the other end of the communicator: "Understood. We've been prepared for a long time. We're ready to coordinate with you at any time."

Yan Yueqing smiled, a hint of warmth flashing in her eyes.

She is not fighting alone.

After hanging up the phone, Junyan walked into the study carrying a tablet. His round little face was beaming with an astonishingly bright look in his eyes: "Was that Mom?"

Jun Li nodded.

Junyan ran over and climbed onto his father to look at the various documents on his desk.

This kid has gotten quite a bit heavier lately.

Jun Li held him firmly in his arms and casually handed him two documents: "Can you understand them?"

Junyan nodded: "The information from Guangqi? Is someone trying to harm Mom?"

"Yes, from your mother's family."

Jun Yan frowned in disgust: "How annoying."

Jun Li patted his son's head and said with concern, "Don't worry, Dad won't let them succeed."

Junyan said matter-of-factly, "If Dad lets them get their way, he doesn't deserve to be Mom's husband."

Jun Li: ? ? ? Can I take back my concern just now?

Junyan sighed again: "I wish I could grow up faster. I really want to help my mother."

Jun Li silently repeated "my biological father" to himself, then said with concern, "Don't worry too much, your father is here."

Jun Yan snorted and muttered, "It's because Dad didn't work hard enough. If Dad had worked hard enough to make the Jun family bigger and stronger, would the Jiang family have bullied Mom?"

Jun Liqi laughed: "Yes, yes, I haven't tried hard enough."

No matter how hard one person works, can it compare to the accumulated efforts of several generations?! (End of Chapter)
