In "A Brief History of Mankind", the author divides human history into several stages and divides them with three landmark events.

The first is the cognitive revolution that began in ancient times, and finally ended with the victory of Homo sapiens with higher organizational capabilities over many races such as Neanderthals, officially ending this era.

The second is the agricultural revolution that began 1 years ago. This revolution changed the mode of production of human beings, transitioning from gathering and hunting to settled agriculture dominated by farming. Various forms of social organization have appeared one after another, and various empires and kingdoms have appeared on the stage.

The third is the Industrial and Technological Revolution that started 200 years ago. To be honest, until now, there are still endless debates in the academic circles about why the Industrial Revolution was first started on this isolated island in the UK.Some say it is the accumulation of colonial plunder, some say that Britain first established the political system of a constitutional monarchy, some say it is because of the British navy and trade traditions, and some say that the Industrial Revolution is purely a coincidence.

I can't figure out why, and I can't figure it out. I can only try my best to present a corner of that era for everyone through my personal understanding of this era.
