A day at Hogwarts.

Chapter 407: Chatting at the Burrow

Chapter 407: Chatting at the Burrow
"Yo, hello everyone."

Charles greeted the Weasleys inside the house first, then followed Harry outside.

Percy, Penelope, Fred and George immediately stood up, straightened their clothes and looked serious.

Bill asked curiously, "What's wrong with you?"

Ginny answered the question, "Percy's leader, Penelope's boss, Fred and George's investor are here."

Ron complained, "There's not enough room for so many people at the table."

Hermione stared at Charles for a long time and asked, "Why are you wearing sunglasses?"

Everyone who knows Charles is very curious. He usually wears a pair of magic glasses, so why did he change into sunglasses today?
Charles said nonchalantly, "Don't worry about the details."

Ginny asked him, "You don't look well."

Charles replied: "I just came back from Azkaban and was brought here by Harry."

"I convinced the Ministry of Magic to release Patricia Lakpeake on parole in exchange for a large bond."

Bill, Charlie, Percy, and Penelope all exclaimed at the same time: "Professor Lakpeak?!"

The people who had graduated from Hogwarts looked startled, while those who were still studying there were confused and had no idea who this person was.

Bill explained to the young people: "Professor Lakpeake was the Defense Against the Dark Arts professor in 1988, and was previously a curse breaker at Gringotts."

"I became a curse breaker under her guidance."

"She is a very clever and powerful wizard, and Dumbledore never hesitates to praise her."

"It's just that she later took the wrong path."

The young people understand.

Charles said: "I heard about her from some sources. She received enough punishment in Azkaban and was almost crazy."

"I think her talent should not be wasted. She has repented and started working for our company after making strict promises, reporting to the Auror office every month."

Penelope thought for a moment and asked, "Boss, is the employee codenamed Ms. R Professor Lakpeak?"

Previously, when she was handling documents, there were many plans for recruiting employees. Ms. R was only on the list, and the specific work was fully responsible by the magic director Chris.

Charles nodded, then turned to Bill and said, "She has been mentioning several students' names recently, most notably Jacob and his sister. Next is you. She asked if you have become a curse breaker."

Bill was a little surprised that she still remembered him, so he asked Charles: "Can I visit her at your company?"

Charles smiled and said, "No problem, you can come to work in our company."

This time Bill was stunned. He didn't expect Charles to recruit him, so he just glossed over the subject.

Charles looked at Bakalova and asked with a smile, "I heard from Harry that you were looking for me?"

Bakalova said: "I have been researching the history of world magic from the 1920s to the 1980s, and I have encountered some difficulties recently."

"First, the history of the 1930s and 1940s. I applied to Professor Dumbledore for an interview with an important figure, and he asked me to contact you."

"The second is the destruction of the three African demon kings. I heard from Professor Angelina that you were present when 'Butcher' Edie was destroyed. I would like to inquire about the details. I also want to ask about the person who destroyed the other two demon kings. Do you have any information?"

Charles suddenly became alert.

Let’s put Grindelwald’s matter aside and just go to the Dancing Grass Restaurant at dinner time to find him.

The key point is that the person who killed the two demon kings in Africa was the old man. Back then, the old man took the reward from the Veela but ran away without completing the task. For decades, the Veela has been looking for him to settle the score. Could it be that they found him through the ruby?
The more Charles thought about it, the more possible it seemed. On the day the Dancing Grass Restaurant opened, Slughorn reported that he had a teacher outside of Hogwarts. Combined with the ruby, it was easy to make the connection.

"The first question is not difficult," Charles replied. "I can ask him if he is willing to be interviewed."

"Second question..." He hesitated, "Let me ask my friends in Africa if they have any news."

Bakalova smiled brilliantly and said softly, "There is no rush for the second question. The elders said that debts can be passed down."

Her temperament changed all of a sudden. She was as beautiful as the sun, and the boys and girls next to her began to breathe heavier.

Charles was now sweating coldly, fearing that she would drop the juice in her hand, and a group of Weasleys would rush over and knock him out, and then take him back to his home town.

So he started to giggle, trying to find a topic to fool around. "Oh, Charlie." Charles pretended to be very enthusiastic, "How is the order I placed last month?"

"The Irish team has booked a championship celebration banquet at the Dancing Grass Restaurant, and it would be a shame if they didn't have a main course."

Charlie didn't know what was going on between Bakalova and Charles. It should be related to the previous generation, so he ignored it and said with a smile: "We picked the fattest one, and we guarantee that you will be satisfied."

Hermione reacted immediately and shouted in surprise: "You eat dragons?"

Charles said curiously, "If we don't eat it, are we going to save it for Christmas?"

Harry asked hastily, "You won't eat Norbert?"

He still remembered that Hagrid raised a little dragon and later gave it to Charlie and his friends to raise a dragon.

Now he was a little worried whether Norbert would be eaten.

Charlie said, "Don't worry, Norbert will be an egg-laying dragon and won't be eaten."

Charles said: "Norwegian Ridgebacks are not tasty. Our restaurant usually chooses Ukrainian Iron Belly Dragons and Chinese Fireball Dragons. The former has more meat and the latter has more recipes."

Harry and the others didn't know what to say.

Charles looked at his watch and said to Percy, "Percy, although I don't like to talk about work outside of working hours, I'm quite busy recently. Is it okay for me to work overtime?"

Penelope complained: "He is a workaholic now. He works until late every day. It is common for him to work overtime on weekends."

Charles raised his eyebrows and asked in surprise: "Are you living together?"

The two men's faces suddenly turned red.

Percy said hastily, "No, no, we test the communicator every day."

Finally someone exposed his past.

Fred said: "No wonder Percy has been collecting the Daily Prophet lately."

George added: "It's still a rental advertisement."

Percy said hurriedly, "I was worried that I would come back too late and disturb your rest."

Wei Dalang and Wei Erlang laughed out loud.

Charles came to Percy's rescue and asked, "Is St. Mungo's ready?"

Percy regained his serious look and replied, "St. Mungo's Hospital has prepared thirty-six special wards and corresponding family rooms. Mr. Belby and the hospital's therapists and nurses have formed a professional team to handle matters related to drug testing."

"Lupin visited all the werewolves from various countries who participated in the drug trial one by one, had in-depth discussions with them, and has established personal files based on the data form."

"The Ministry of Magic of the relevant countries attaches great importance to this matter. They hope to get the latest results as soon as possible."

Charles nodded and said, "Well done, there are a few things to pay attention to next."

"First of all, let me emphasize again that the drug trial is led by St. Mungo's Hospital. The results have nothing to do with us. We will do a good job of serving St. Mungo's Hospital, serving werewolves, serving the Ministry of Magic, and serving foreign magical ministries."

"Secondly, you should communicate with Lupin and do a good job of comforting the werewolf mentally."

"The cost of this drug trial was donated by me in the name of Dancing Grass Restaurant. The restaurant can help them and their families solve their dietary problems. Eating well will make them feel much better."

"Penelope, talk to Dobby and mark the prices on the menu. Draw a line based on the average consumption level on the second floor. The items cheaper than this line will be provided free of charge as planned, and the items higher will be charged at 20% off."

"Percy, let Lupin chat with them more when the time comes. If they want to read a book or play chess or something, satisfy them as long as it's not too much."

"Oh, if there are couples coming together, please make sure the ward is soundproof."

"Third, Percy, you can recruit a few temporary workers to copy all the reports from St. Mungo's Hospital, including the daily physical examination report, for the office's archives."

"It will be compiled into a summary report every week and month, reported to the Ministry of Magic and sent to the Ministry of Magic of each country."

"Fourth, Slughorn will return to England in a few days to inspect the preparations of St. Mungo's Hospital. You should keep good records and make all the changes that need to be made."

"That's all. Please repeat it again."
