A day at Hogwarts.
Chapter 546 A Different Kind of Existence
Chapter 546 A Different Kind of Existence
After finishing work for the day, Dobby called all the employees together for a meeting at the Dancing Grass Restaurant.
"Family members, cheer up!"
"Today, we are gathered here with the core objective of deeply aligning our strategic focus for this new phase, connecting the key links between the front and back kitchens, fully empowering the upcoming peak season campaign, and ultimately igniting our peak performance!"
"Looking back, we have achieved some preliminary results, but we must also be soberly aware of the pain points and challenges. The granularity of the user experience is not fine enough, there are bottlenecks in the new food preparation and delivery process, and the collaborative efficiency of some links urgently needs to be optimized. This is not criticism, but rather a tool for us to co-create value and iterate and upgrade!"
"The kitchen is the core engine! We must focus on the consistency and innovation of our dishes. The R&D team must iterate rapidly to create blockbuster dishes that can generate word-of-mouth! Ingredient quality control is the lifeline; the level of detail must be down to every single leaf of vegetable! Production speed is a key KPI for our core competitiveness!"
"The front-end and back-end operations must be deeply integrated! Information synchronization must be real-time! We need to establish an efficient collaboration mechanism and reject information silos! Daily debriefing meetings must form a closed loop to accumulate experience and feed back into process optimization!"
"Cost reduction and efficiency improvement are eternal themes! We need to refine our operations, revitalize existing resources, reduce redundant actions, and spend every penny wisely!"
"Everyone must have a strong sense of responsibility! You are primarily responsible for the area you are in charge of and the dishes you handle! You must be willing to take the blame and, more importantly, be courageous in delivering results!"
"Embrace change! The market is changing, customers are changing, and our strategies must iterate rapidly! We must step out of our comfort zones, dare to try and fail, and find the optimal solution through dynamic adjustments!"
……
The little working elves each had a notebook, meticulously recording Dobby's speech so they could study and understand it carefully.
Charles rubbed his temples, then finally gave up thinking about it.
Beside him, four pairs of eyes stared wide-eyed at the three people.
Harry came to see Dobby today, and Hermione wanted to find Gilgamesh, so she dragged Ron out with her, and Charles brought them along.
This was the first time Harry had seen Dobby in his work mode, and he seemed to see a bit of Vernon when he was making work-related phone calls in him.
Hermione stared blankly at the working elves, something in her mind shattering into a million pieces.
Ron's eyes lit up as he stared intently at Dobby, as if he were standing on a table and a brand new door was slowly opening.
The meeting was followed by a group dinner, which also served as a debriefing session.
The three freeloaders felt that the working elves around them were speaking something other than English. They could understand the individual words, but they couldn't understand the meaning when they put them together.
After dinner, the working elves left the restaurant in twos and threes. Some went to the Pig's Head Bar, some went to the Three Brooms Bar, and others turned a corner and went into the neighboring Madame Padiff's Tea House.
Charles raised an eyebrow and a slight smile played at the corners of his mouth.
When the group arrived at the Hog's Head, Harry, Harry, and Memphis immediately raised their hands to cover their faces with their sleeves and quickly walked toward different private rooms.
They ran out, and the two Dumbledores were sitting at the table in front of the bar.
Gabrielle was also there, drawing a portrait of Aberforth. Beside the table was a pot of dancing grass that was already half a person tall, and on the table was a plate of desserts prepared by Aberforth.
Albus secretly reached for the dessert, but the plate would move away by itself, which frustrated him.
Charles sat down next to Gabrielle and looked at the cartoon portrait she had drawn of Aberforth, which was nine-tenths as lifelike.
Inside the private room, Hermione and Gilgamesh started chatting.
She asked Shan Shan, "How have you been lately?"
Holding a glass of juice, Shan Shan excitedly said, "I'm in top form right now, continuously empowering myself. I'm deeply focusing on my core competency matrix and advancing several key projects in parallel—including but not limited to personal health management optimization and cognitive boundary iteration upgrades. My schedule is refined to the minute, saturated and efficiently closed-loop."
Hermione blinked, carefully examined Gilgamesh, and turned to ask Ron in a low voice, "Is she under the Imperius Curse?" Gilgamesh's behavior was so different from before, it was as if she were a completely different elf, which made Hermione suspect that she was under a curse.
Ron said, "I think she's in much better spirits now, unlike before when she was always crying. Even if she's been hit by the Imperius Curse, it's a good thing."
Hermione was speechless. Was that really a good idea?
She then asked Shanshan, "Are you busy with work right now? Have you been getting enough rest?"
Shanshan answered earnestly, "Although I proactively optimized some of the sleep bandwidth, I deeply connected to various high-value work scenarios, and the empowerment I felt was off the charts! Overall, my personal efficiency and return on investment in life have reached an all-time high!"
Hermione scratched her head, wondering what "bandwidth" meant. She seemed to have seen the word before when she was learning how to break spells at Farbatten Castle.
Ron suddenly felt he understood and explained to Hermione, "She said that although the rest period was short, it was enough, and she did a lot of things every day, so her days were very fulfilling."
Hermione wondered if it could be interpreted that way, and said to Gilgamesh, "I feel like you're different than before."
Shanshan straightened up abruptly and said excitedly, "Your insight is truly remarkable! After a profound restructuring of my personal underlying logic and an upgrade of my cognitive paradigm, I have completed the strategic transformation from slavery to a capitalist system!"
"This is thanks to the high-frequency, high-density empowerment input from top mentors, which completely broke through my cognitive barriers. Those outdated and inefficient thinking patterns of the past have been systematically deconstructed and thoroughly optimized."
Hermione looked at Ron.
After a moment of silence, Ron said in a low voice, "She has received training that is even more effective than the Imperius Curse, and she is completely different now."
Hermione felt something was off, but she couldn't quite put her finger on it.
Ron continued in a low voice, "Isn't this great? Shining is living an active life, which is much better than what you did... that 'vomiting' thing?"
Shining continued excitedly, "I've recently been deeply planning the long-term strategic layout of my personal asset portfolio. The core goals are two key milestones: building core self-owned real estate and establishing efficient mobility solutions. This is not impulsive consumption; it's the result of multi-dimensional evaluation and meticulous calculation!"
Ron explained to Hermione, "She's planning to buy a house and a flying broom."
Hermione was about to retort to Ron, but now she was speechless, realizing that she had overlooked something very important before.
Because the house-elves always seemed to have no desires, she overlooked this and didn't set any real goals for them, so her work lacked purpose.
This made Hermione start to think that there were many house-elves in the world, such as those in Hogwarts, who always resisted her and used today's harvest for the next.
Ron felt his eyes were opened. He had heard a lot about house-elves and Hermione had even dragged him into the kitchen to "preach" to them, but this was the first time he had ever seen a house-elves like this.
He was unaware that there were many other entities that differed from the rumors, including quite a few in the next private room.
Charles told Gabrielle after his communicator rang, and then went to a private room in the bar.
Inside the private room was a young vixen dressed in a black Adidas tracksuit with three white stripes on the sleeves and sides of her pants, who was lighting a bottle of liquor.
When he saw Charles come in, he said, "You know, a good wine has a pure blue flame at the mouth of the bottle."
"TASS reporter Zeta."
He stood up and shook hands with Charles.
