A day at Hogwarts.

Chapter 555 How to do it

Chapter 555 How to do it

Recently, Charles has been spending much more time in the painting studio after class than usual.

Krum considered asking him to paint an oil painting of him, but when he saw that he only painted fruits and vegetables such as zucchini, tomatoes and watermelons, he gave up the idea.

That evening, Fleur came to the studio and saw Charles painting, while the vampire girl kept shaking his shoulders.

Furong asked, "What are you doing?"

Erica said seriously, "Shake it before drinking."

After she finished speaking, she licked her lips and looked at Furong's fair and slender neck.

After pulling up her collar, Fleur asked her, "Did Charles confess?"

Erica said dejectedly, "No, scaring him didn't work. Why don't you ask him? If he confesses, you can kiss him."

Furong's face flushed slightly.

Erica said with a mischievous grin, "How about I kiss you? I'll close my eyes and pretend I'm kissing you."

Fleur asked Charles, "Charles, besides garlic, what else are vampires afraid of?"

Other vampires hate garlic, but it's useless against this vampire who cultivates garlic; they'll have to find something else.

As Charles drew an eggplant, he said, "I think garlic beer would be good."

"No!" Erica grabbed Charles by the neck and said solemnly, emphasizing each word, "You can't put garlic in beer! It's a desecration of beer!!"

Her reaction was similar to that of a British wizard upon hearing the name Voldemort.

Charles kept changing the subject, refusing to answer when or how they broke into the Gringotts vault.

"It's great to be young."

After the two girls left, an old man arrived.

Dumbledore initially thought Charles was seeking the help of the Ruby, but since it had been out delivering messages, he later assumed it was using the Mirror Dimension to enter the vault. However, after investigating, he discovered that this was not the case and couldn't resist asking out of curiosity.

“Charles, could you satisfy an old man’s curiosity? How did you get into the vault?”

He didn't bother with formalities with Charles and went straight to the point.

Charles said in a serious tone, "I learned a pretty good spell from Professor Peeves."

Dumbledore wanted to tap him on the head with his wand—is that something a Hogwarts student would say?

However, this also answers Dumbledore's question: Charles was practicing his magic to walk through walls when he got stuck on the floor and had to be taken to St. Mungo's Hospital to be saved.

Dumbledore asked curiously, "Is it that simple?"

He had seen that door; it had a countermeasure against spatial magic, making it difficult to break through without making a sound.

Charles said, "Yes, it's that simple."

Dumbledore then asked, "How did you manage not to disturb the door?"

Charles said, "Petty wouldn't be so polite as to go through the door."

Dumbledore understood; he had passed through the wall, and the magic on the wall was probably much weaker than that of the door.

As for the details of the magic, Dumbledore didn't ask any further questions; after all, everyone has their secrets.

He told Charles, "You'd better not leave Hogwarts anytime soon. I'm worried that some ghoulish goblins might do you harm."

The fairies have really lost face this time, and it's possible they might overreact, even killing Charles.

Charles was eager for the goblins to come, but he still said, "I'll be careful." Dumbledore was relieved to see how well-behaved he was, and before leaving, he said, "Be careful, and don't worry your grandfather."

Charles nodded obediently.

He always felt that if he were killed by a demon, the old man would rummage through the trash and find another one.

Charles returned to the common room long after curfew had passed, only to be blocked as expected.

Harry and Ron were already snoring on the table, while Hermione was still reading and had taken out a butter roll.

Hermione immediately slapped the two guys awake.

Harry rubbed his eyes, put on his glasses, and when he saw Charles return, he immediately put on an overly enthusiastic smile that made people feel a little uncomfortable.

"Charles's back! You must be tired. Shall I give you a shoulder massage?"

Harry's tone of voice gave Hermione goosebumps.

Ron wasn't much better off; he pulled out a bottle of soda from somewhere, and it was ice cold.

Charles sighed helplessly; these three guys kept pestering him about the magic to get into Gringotts.

He sat down at the long table, Harry started massaging his shoulders, and Ron took out a glass and poured himself a soda.

Charles raised an eyebrow at Hermione. Those two are in such a state, shouldn't she do something in return?

Hermione reluctantly handed over the butter roll she had just opened.

Harry's four eyes burned with intense curiosity as he asked anxiously and expectantly, "Tell me quickly, how did you get in?"

Ron's eyes widened like a gold thief's, and he exclaimed excitedly, "Gringotts' vault, a vault specially built for goblins! And you... you just sneaked in like that, and even hung up such a huge... restaurant advertisement!"

He waved his arms, trying to show how huge the banner was, but half a bottle of soda spilled out and almost got on Hermione's head.

Hermione dodged, but Crookshanks was hit. Thinking it was being attacked by some terrible enemy, it ran all over the common room.

Charles didn't rush to answer, but slowly ate his cream roll and drank his soda.

I can't quite remember when Hermione last offered me a sweet treat.

After Hermione settled Crookshanks back in, she looked at Charles with a furrowed brow. Upon closer inspection, her once neatly styled hair seemed to have become even more frizzy from overthinking.

“Charles, infiltrating Gringotts isn’t like taking a night stroll through Hogwarts Castle; it can’t be done by luck or some trick.” Her voice became fast and urgent. “Gringotts’ anti-intrusion spells, anti-Apparition and Portkey magic, and the magic to sense wizards… these are described in detail in many books, almost inescapably!”

"What kind of magic did you use? Did you use some kind of... high-cost magic to modify your body?"

“I overheard Aberforth mentioning to Professor Dumbledore at the Hog’s Head that you were researching Transfiguration, and that the spells you taught us to transform into animals also required the foundation of Transfiguration.”

Hermione knew Charles was strong, but this time he seemed unusually strong, so she worried that he might go astray.

Harry suddenly realized the problem and, remembering the physical modifications the Boomerang had made to him, immediately grabbed Charles's hair and tugged at his nose. He only breathed a sigh of relief when he found that he couldn't pull it off.

Charles said calmly, "Harry, haven't you been boxing for a while? I'll go with you to the Room of Requirement tomorrow night for a practice session."

Harry said excitedly, "Okay!"

At this moment, Hermione slammed her hand on the table and said seriously to Charles, "Don't change the subject."

Charles said, "I'm so handsome, do you think I need to change myself?"

Harry, his trio, and Ruby, who had just returned with a large box of sushi, rolled their eyes at him.

Charles ignored them, looking at what delicious treats his old friend from the magic institute had brought this time, and finally said seriously, "This magic requires learning Apparition first."
