A day at Hogwarts.

Chapter 592 Everyone is gone

Chapter 592 Everyone is gone

While Charles was helping to mend the crucibles, outside Lukwood Castle, the match suddenly became intense.

"Don't Beauxbatton and Durmstrang have a grudge?"

Everyone remembers that in previous matches, the teams from Furong and Krum got into a fight, and students from the two schools often had minor clashes off the field.

However, at the start of the match today, they joined forces to attack Cedric and his group. If the Seamus Tour hadn't happened to be passing by, they might have been wiped out.

The two teams from Hogwarts are now pinned down behind several large trees, and the situation looks ominous.

"what!"

Cedric's teammate, Wallins, let out a scream as he was pulled into the shadows beneath the tree.

"It's Erica!" Hermione exclaimed from behind a nearby tree. "She's a vampire; she can walk in the shadows!"

As soon as she finished speaking, a scream came from afar from Wallins, and then the whole forest fell silent.

Hermione immediately cast a spell, and several huge orbs of light illuminated the surroundings, at least making the shadow of the tree appear on the other side, as far away from her own people as possible.

But the shadow was still everywhere, and no one knew where Erica would appear.

When it comes to tactics, everyone present combined probably couldn't beat Krum.

Erica's single act caused the Hogwarts community to become highly tense and experience a significant increase in psychological pressure.

Malfoy stammered, "Quick...quickly conjure up garlic!"

Wallins was a Slytherin student and quite strong, but he was taken down in one fell swoop, which terrified him. He was afraid he would be next.

Malfoy knew very well that although he had recently done Charles a great favor, he had also offended him severely in the past. Erica was said to have an unusually close relationship with Charles, and someone had seen them entering and leaving the dormitory together at night. Now was a blatant opportunity to settle a personal score.

"It's no use," said Simon, who was standing next to him. "Charles said Erica isn't afraid of garlic and has even cultivated a kind of garlic with a particularly strong flavor."

Neville, standing behind a nearby tree, asked hastily, "You mean, she's an expert in herbalism?"

Simon said, "Well... I heard that she used to rarely interact with people and tended to herbs in the greenhouse by herself."

"Oh no!" Neville exclaimed.

Just then, the ground in the middle of their hiding place rose up, and a huge fern emerged, its leaves like tentacles reaching out to them, its leaves gleaming with a steely light.

"Iron-toothed fern!"

Some people immediately recognized this amazing plant from Germany's Black Forest, whose leaves, with their steel-tooth-like structure, could easily chew a person up.

Cedric immediately shouted, "Seymour, clear a path straight ahead of you!"

With a loud bang, billowing smoke could be seen from the stands, and a two-lane road appeared in front of Simo.

As for the iron-toothed fern, it has long since disappeared.

“Go! Go! Go!”

Cedric led the group to race along the newly opened road.

The students of Beauxbatons and Durmstrang were intimidated and could only watch as the group broke through the encirclement.

Krum just sighed. This was a competition, and he'd only get a few hundred Galleons. There was no need to risk his life.

There were plenty of opportunities, and they pursued them.

Suddenly, a huge magical creature appeared before the Hogwarts students.

It was enormous, with a bulging back, thick gray-purple skin, two striking golden horns, and four large toes that trembled restlessly on the ground. Its slippery tentacles, which it was feeding on, kept twitching, as if it were preparing to launch an attack.

"Horned Beast!"

Rolf Scamander recognized it immediately and said, "You guys go quickly, I'll hold it off!"

Harry asked worriedly, "Do you need my help?"

Ralph was the youngest among them, only a third-year student, and the horned beast was enormous and looked formidable. "No problem!" Ralph said confidently.

At this point, Hermione said, "Harry, all the horned beasts now are raised by his grandfather."

Harry immediately understood; it seemed they knew each other.

However, their opponents were not going to give Rolf and the horned beasts a chance to put on a show.

The horned beast's skin has high magic resistance, but there are always some areas that cannot be protected.

A Durmstrang member cast a powerful, stimulating spell from a distance at the rear of the horned beast.

The horned beast went berserk and charged towards the Hogwarts students.

Ralph was standing at the very front, and Hermione quickly pulled him aside as a figure rushed past.

Harry charged straight at the horned beast, and just as he was about to collide with it, he slid in and cast a levitation charm on its belly.

The horned camel floated up.

The danger was over, and everyone quickly evacuated.

George asked Harry, "How did you come up with the idea to do this?"

Harry said, "I remember that the skin on an animal's belly is softer."

Soon, they arrived at Lukwood Castle. Malfoy casually set fire to the trees behind him to slow down Beauxbatons and Durmstrang's group.

Cedric said to Seamus, "We're going to part ways here."

Simo said to him, "Hey, don't get lost."

The castle now has four gates, and different teams enter through different gates. The keys to open the gates were collected in the previous match.

If you failed in the last game and couldn't collect the key, now you have to slowly break the curse above.

The teams proceeded along different routes, eventually converging in the main building of the castle.

Seamus quickly opened the door, and before entering, Malfoy suddenly said, "I'm going to cause them some trouble!"

“What are you going to do?” Seamus asked.

“Heh heh,” Malfoy was quite adept at this kind of prank, “block their keyholes.”

We need to get revenge for being surrounded earlier.

Everyone thought it made a lot of sense, including the audience members.

Simo felt that having this guy around was somewhat useful.

Rolf also said, "He and I are each responsible for one door!"

George said, "I'm buying them time."

“Okay,” Seamo nodded, “We’ll go first, you guys hurry up and get here.”

Malfoy and the others went to block the keyhole, while Seamus led Harry, Hermione, and Neville inside first to deal with the enemies that should be behind the door, while waiting for the three of them.

Just as Seamus and the others stepped through the gate and onto the stone slabs inside the castle, they suddenly felt a dizzying sensation, as if a key had been activated.

In the audience, people were still discussing how mischievous the young students were when they discovered that the four had suddenly disappeared. They assumed that the students had accidentally stepped on some kind of trap.

Dumbledore immediately stood up from his seat. He had approved all the plans for the castle's levels, so this project was definitely not among them.

He looked to the Hogwarts professors on either side of him; they were the ones who actually implemented the ideas, and wanted to see who had secretly come up with the new concept.

However, he saw "Moody" phantom teleport away.
